Oh WOW... I've never seen it in Australia. Do you mean that it comes from an animal, or is it a man-made fabric like in the trousers that were trendy pants something like jeans but were worn by country guys .. and gal's I expect, for horse riding? I didn't have a daughter, but I know that my son was well and true into the country clothing, including the boots, etc. He loved it all when he lived in the city, so it was fantastic for him when we moved to a town that was on the coast again, but it was also near the country, he got then got to study Agriculture at school ... and go to the country shows where he got to 'show/lead' the cow that they had at the schools. I think that they had a sheep and some chooks as well. He'd always hated school until he got there. He'd rush to get the early bus to m school to groom the cow. He even got top marks in that subject ... because he was interested in it. I'd known from when he was little that he'd have to work outdoors and with his hands ... which is what happened ... and he topped his studies then too ... as well as volunteering in the country fire brigade and the emergency services as well. It's amazing that it can be seen early on as to what children will become when they are older. I never told my son what I'd thought, until he was older and had made his own way through his own decisions. I actually did a bit of travelling while I was pregnant with him and I used to say that he'd be a keen traveller .... and Yes, he spent a few years travelling and working overseas in his chosen career. Yet another one of a mother's instinct! 😉

when I was a teenager I had a vision that I'd start a company that just sold bows that you wear on your feet. in my head i had pictured a wide elastic band that goes around your arch and had different bow attachments that would snap on. anyway, it was something I wanted to exist. this product just brought me loads of joy! you've created a better version of what I was always picturing. best of luck.

Afraid that I am another one that remembers doing this in the 80's with strips of silk that you stiffened with spray on starch, and I also remember the jewel and bow clip ons. Sadly, none of them ever worked comfortably if you were in the shoes over an hour. You were constantly having to adjust.

As a PT, I must say I find this rather horrifying. Toes are meant to help with your balance & the more you can spread it out the better the alignment of your knees/hip/spine will be. Binding it together like this is a recipe for structural disaster. Nobody should pay that much of a price just to look good.
