I really felt the 61 year old man who said that one can work hard their whole life and still not earn a dime, while someone else can just win a lottery and become rich instantly.
Both poor , both File for bankruptcy
I think some people don’t realize ‘winning the lottery’ isn’t always literal. It’s a figure of speech for lucking out in whatever way that may be, even hard work that puts you in the right place at the right time - an opportunity that someone who worked just as hard or harder may never get.

I think I'm becoming like the guy who has three jobs because of unsuppportive parents.I have stopped studying for 3 years in college because of financialy illiteracy of my parents. My mom passed away because she let stress get over her because of her financial illiteracy. My aunt volunteered to support my education, but she can't provide for my other expenses in college like food, books, school supplies, you name it. So I have to work while studying to provide for myself.
We need to protect the older gentleman. He deserves the world.

He's got style, he got some nice kicks on. AND he takes care of his parents. Such a gem.
Went to high school with him and he was one of my best friends. A super humble man and always has taken care of his family. Wishing nothing but the best for him.
I could tell he seemed a little upset/pissed (just me though because I would be too) I mean his haircut looked fine, his whole outfit looked fine. And most importantly, he’s taking care of his family out of the sincerity of his heart. Doesn’t matter that the ex-barber knows their stuff but there’s a nicer way to “criticise” the gentleman in green about his hair. Just me though 🙌🏼

The gentleman that cares for his parents I really respect him working so hard and I hope he gets a break sooner than not..
I feel sooo bad he got dissed because of his haircut. I have friends who have parents who were refugees and they work harder than anyone else. Mad respect for him, and not wanting to put them in a home, just want to take care of his family himself.
The insecure ones are the ones to always diss someone’s look. He looked fine to me. He looked more disappointed because everyone downplayed his hard work based off appearances.

The Parkinson’s man is the reason I work at the hospital getting free medication for patients. Ugh these patients become so much more than just patients to me. It’s such a tough job
I'm a nurse and that part of the video made me so emotional. It's so sad seeing how hard the healthcare industry makes it for struggling people. Parkinson's is a hell of a disease.

I wish they would have done one with “net worth”. There are a ton of people who own fancy cars, houses, watches, etc, but none of them are paid off. They can in fact have a negative or lower net worth because they are severely in debt. This is very different than being “rich or poor”.
That's a very hard number to set. People live in different areas, different lifestyles. A single man with a 200k income is very different than a dad who makes 200k but has 3 kids. They said it was their own perception of rich or poor so it comes down to how easy do they think they have it.

Despite the name for this one and the flack this channel tends to get... This was really a good episode. And I feel like one or two bad apples being a part of it could have made that very very different. I'm glad this was a more wholesome episode. The casting for it seemed to be done well, and not to be mr. judge over here, but yeah these all seemed like really nice people, genuinely. A good level of respect and thoughtfulness between everyone here. All were well-spoken. Not once did I feel anyone here was being judgmental at all. And on the topic of discussion for rich vs poor, it can get very much that way, hateful, toxic or nasty, towards both sides of it. But nah, that wasn't the case. Kudos to everyone who was a part of this episode. Hit the thumbs up for the first time on a Cut video, because I came out with a sense of fulfillment and joy honestly. Whereas 99.99% of the time, I tend to only watch these and button videos thru reaction videos (which do add transformative and thoughtful commentary, or even profound at times) due to not being able to sit through them otherwise. just me being transparent here lol. Again, I loved this one. 10 out of 10!
