I spent 2 months in Frankfurt am Main in the eighties. The best thing that happened to me there was watching Big Time at the local kino, Wunderbar, and unforgettable.

Hope he goes on tour again. Last time he came round my way tickets sold out in like 2 minutes. Scalpers asking $1800 a ticket and getting it when he played Palace Theatre in Columbus , Ohio. Too rich for my blood.😐
There is nothing wrong with hits or pop music. I wonder what those dudes with tight pants and young ladies with big boobs think when they watch an artist like Tom Waits make music? He creates a story, theatre, and great music all in one moment. He is a true artist. He puts them all to shame.
He's much too good and humble for the RnR Hall of Fame, he's on another level. He puts everything into a performance and then some. And he's been doing it that way ever since I first saw him at Rick's Cafe in Aspen Colo. back in the day. His Bridge School performance wasn't too bad either...congrats Tom !!
