Michael Johns never should have been eliminated after this performance. There was something I followed on the internet that would show the results fairly clearly. They always seemed to be right. That night, it showed Michael had received more votes than David Cook. In my heart of hearts, I know he truly won. Miss him so very much!
I couldn't believe it either! He was much better than many of the other contestants. I was completely shocked when I found out he was eliminated after that performance.

I love his voice so much, it has so much power and versitile [ius that how you write it?] he was great whith the police and the queen songs and now this. he has this original vintage quality about him and this performance although ended his road in AI but not in his fans heart. You sis an extrordinary performance here, my friend!
I really didn't see this one coming. I admit when I first heard his performance of this song on AmericanIdol, it wasn't the best. But listening to this now.... man, I'm having chills. Michael Jones, this season won't be the same without you. Seeing him booted really shocked the hell out of me. I mean, who's gonna get booted next, David Cook? (Who's the #1 of the competition).
Not bad for a contestant who was told he got the least amount of votes when in fact he got MORE VOTES THAN DAVID COOK! FOLKS, MICHAEL JOHNS WAS THE TRUE AMERICAN IDOL! I thought this was an outstanding performance by a shining STAR!
I wish American Idol would let those kids sing the whole song...... songs are written a certain way for a reason cutting a song like Dream On to one minute forty is a crime even though MJ did a damn good job in spite of that........ damn this is brilliant and he did put a bluesier spin on the vocals than the live performance
michael' s version is ahmazing. now this is how u sing this song. omg did u guys hear his live performance?! it was ahmazing. his last note was friggen ahmazing! love gokey but he cant do it like Johns.

Comparing it for a second to the original, I think Michael Johns(Happy?) added a lot more power to the song, and passion.
he put more power and passion into the song than Steven Tyler?!? I think not. He does an amazing cover, but it sounds a lot like an imitation, particularly at the end when he goes into his falsetto. how old are you? just wondering...

A good part of America loves Michael but wasn't aware of the fact they needed to vote this crucial week! Whoever gave the command from AI to Ryan to take off an idol this week must have thought it cool and shocking to do that. America didn't know an idol will be out this week. hope AI redeems themselves by bringing in a wildcard. America will bring Michael Johns back for sure.

the scream is called falsetto, a lot of guys use it to get higher than they normally can, the guys in my chorus have to use it a lot
