I love that David Cook made his own wonderful arrangement of a pop song I used to completely dislike! Pop was my generation's music, yet I never liked it... I didn't like hard rock either. I was so grateful when Sting and the Police finally came out! They were original... not hard yet not sappy. I hope David Cook has the courage to do more of this type of music. Some fans of other contestants are very vicious in their bias. Most of David Cook fans are out of that bubble but it's still hard to get support due to the stigma. I hope more people outside of Idol would give him a chance.
