The Covey uses the same packaging as Live Tinted. It bothers me that they emphasize all mineral when it has butyl, and their marketing boasts of having no white cast compared to an actual 100% mineral sunscreen which isn’t a fair comparison.
Ah I’ve been excited to hear your thoughts on the Covey one! It’s kuh-vee and it means a flock of birds. Anyway, I like this style of review when you have more products to review that like you said doesn’t require a full video per. I haven’t heard of the brand one kind before, but I kinda like their branding. I’ve been meaning to try RMS products but it’s hard to prioritize products to try.
Couldn’t figure out why I was getting dry skin and a rash from the Cetaphil Mineral Sunscreen for the face that everyone loves… comes out it’s the butocyl salicylate or however you spell that spf booster
Dana, have you tried Inzincable SPF 50? It is free of your dreaded B.S. can you link your review if you have one. It’s relatively affordable and high SPF. No alcohol either!
I haven’t tried it but looked it up and it does look like it has Butyloctyl salicylate and also nano zinc oxide (as opposed to non-nano). As a note, I don’t mind Butyloctyl Salicylate or denat alcohol personally. Actually I quite like both as they tend to make the formula more elegant. I just call out BS bc many others skin cannot tolerate it.
