watch the video for more detail but these are the products/techniques she listed: 1. vega one - protein powder 2. food based - mega food vitamins 3. mega food iron supplement 4. prenatal DHA 5. my kind organics - calcium supplement 6. Choline trophics
CurlyNature Tv How do you know those vitamins are what’s actually to credit for your hair growth? In my humble opinion, your diet is what helps. If you were getting these essentials nutrients from the food you consume you wouldn’t need those overpriced sugar coated vitamins and minerals ( that you pee out anyways). See what I’m getting at? It’s all a corporate SCAM . Just keep a balanced diet and you good.
Gosh you should become a dietician. You seem to understand this issue from a holistic perspective very well and also how to clearly communicate and actually provide the relevant information to give your video a purpose and meanings that the majority don’t. Love from England 🙋🏻♀️
This video was so informative. When my current supply of vitamins runs out, I'm going to switch to food based vitamins. Also, you definitely peaked my interest when you mentioned the protein making your hair thicker. I've been trying to get thicker hair forever, but increasing my protein is something that never would have occurred to me to try. Also, I love your video editing skills. *BAM!* white screen. Lol! I'm really looking forward to the other videos in this series. :)
Thank you Latriise! 💜 Yes, and for me, getting the right kind of protein was so important too. When I was younger, I used to eat chicken alfredo like it was my full time job so I was getting lots of protein but my hair wasn't growing even at a quarter of the speed it's growing right now. My body does so much better on the plant proteins like the vega. And thanks I'm glad you liked that part! The bam white screen might make a comeback someday 😂
omg thank youuuu for making an actual video about this topic. I was on a medication last year that made 75% of my hair fall out. There is so much bullshit info out there (and hawking of gummies) -- I so appreciate a video with actual, helpful info. Bless you :)
Soooo why is this literally the bessttt video I've ever seen 🙏😩? I'm also a firm believer in getting our health together first to achieve hair growth & try as much as possible to use mostly whole food based supplements. I'm bookmarking this video and subscribed :) 💞 I'd also like to add sillica & MSM is also two very overlooked nutrients for aiding hair growth.
I agree with you 100% protein is very very important for hair growth. I have now started to drink one smoothie a day consist of 30% protein and the rest from my daily food source to help my hair grow faster and longer. xoxo
*What do you want to see next in the hair growth series?* And if you haven't seen all the episodes, click here! ruclips.net/video/AqCR0oE0Ugw/видео.html
I honestly thought this would be the typical “take biotin and buy mad products” video. And it was actually kind of awesome. Especially the part about health and wellness being a part of hair growth.
Wow this makes soo much sense! I stopped eating meat about the same time i did my 2nd big chop and my hair is growing so much slower than when I first big chopped ad well as my hair seems just brittle! Thanks for this video
Hey Brooke! I definitely experienced some brittleness to my hair when I went low protein, so make sure you are getting enough! I love plant based protein powders like Vega because they are so easy to digest and have a lot of goodness packed in there along with the protein 💗
You're welcome! I think they are definitely worth trying. Pranin is another good one too if you don't like pills. It's a powder you can mix into smoothies or juice. I like to switch it up and use Pranin once in a while. I haven't used it in about a year though. Good luck with the vitamin hunt!
Genetics definitely plays a role but my hair was growing a lot slower before 6 months ago. About more than half as slow. I feel like I've been really figuring out my hair and my body this past 6 months and I'm getting really great results!
If you try all this and still have issues with low energy and hair loss consider taking a digestive enzyme that helps you digest everything you eat. Where I live my nutritionist makes a very good enzyme product that works great.
I've been suffering from hair loss for about 5 months now and recently my doctor said that my haemoglobin is low and other symptoms of low blood count as well, tomorrow I'm going to get tested for thyroid and a blood cp so ge tto the root of the problem abs start regrowing lost hair I'm so relaxed now that I've finally found the problem
I have been using Karmin Bio+ Hair Vitamins and they actually work, took about 2 months to see growth and my hair, skin and nails look and feels much healthier. 💕💕 Also, love that there's no sugar and made with natural ingredients. Highly recommended :) Make sure you use a pill form and not the chewables, a pill will be more potent and does not contain any sugar or any other unnecessary ingredients.
you are unbelievably beautiful! thanks for all the helpful tips :) I've been trying to grow my hair out for such a long time and I found these tips were actually super helpful on a deep level - not just outside tips like not using heat and not washing your hair so much...when you mentioned the colour of your pee from the walmart vitamins I realized that's why my pee is that funky neon colour...oops! I know what I'm shopping for today. :p
Thank you so much! There are so many more food based vitamins available now than ever! I like how their labels say "Supplement Facts" kind of like the "Nutrition Facts" on food packaging instead of "Medicinal Ingredients". You get to see the daily values. It feels good to know what you're putting in your body 💚
Amanda Bicket haha no problem I don’t mind sharing! I take -probiotic froGarden of life -Fish oil from Wiley’s finest -biotin from Country Life -hair skin and nails (which is 3a day) Life Sessions -plant Collagen builder (two a day) Garden of Life -powder collagen from Vital Proteins - glow matrix Skin Hydrator from Neocell -fermented cordyceps (3 a day) Dr.Axe -hyaluronic acid urinary tract support from Hyalogic
Wow that's awesome, that would probably be pretty expensive if you didn't have the hookups! 😂 I think the garden of life collegen builder is awesome too! I just looked up what cordyceps are and that is so random but kind of awesome the ancient Chinese thought of trying that as a medicine. Thank you for sharing all these!! 💜
Yeah but if she gets a discount then why not? Especially if they are food based supplements, it's just food so as long as your doctor doesnt think you're going overboard then why not? It makes sure you're covered, and if you have a day when you don't quite eat the best - it happens - then it should in theory not be so bad for us.
I’m so thankful to have found this! I just had my third baby and my hair is in the worst condition it’s EVER been :( it’s falling out like crazy amounts, that it’s actually scaring me. I got hair skin and nails gummy but honestly after taking it is when it started coming out in clumps...I’m def going to try this route instead.
Thank you for sharing Lexy! I'm so sorry to hear that! I think ensuring you are getting the best nutrition you can is ideal, so you can use this video, my video on diet ruclips.net/video/2DvY6rO--NY/видео.html , or my what I eat in a days for inspiration ruclips.net/video/PvzskBuw7Zg/видео.html and you should speak to your healthcare provider. The other thing that comes to mind is with 3 babies, there could be a lot of extra stress. I remember after my baby sister was born (the third child) my Mom was a different person and she was having a tough time coping. But I think if you make sure you are taking care of yourself (sleep, diet, trying to be as relaxed as you possibly can be with three little ones) that could be the difference! So maybe getting some help from family members or friends or hired help to assist with cleaning, cooking, whatever you need, that could help a lot too! Genetics could also play a role but I find sometimes people use genetics as an excuse so they don't feel bad about things that happen to them. But I think hair loss can be a sign to let us know something needs an adjustment. Let me know how it goes! And if you need to talk about it, you can always find me on here 💜
Thank you soooo much! I just got the Vega!!!! :) I’m excited to start using it. I got some vitamins. They are GNC plant based vitamins. Ive also started taking Viviscal. Im gonna start my diet next! It’s so hard to eat good when my man doesn’t really want that.
I'm so glad Lexy!! I'm proud of you! I know it's not always easy, and you can always message me if you need support, but trust me that the best way to have the world you want is to be the change in the world. If you take the lead, people will see how incredible your lifestyle changes are and they won't even feel like they have a choice but follow your lead even without you trying to guilt trip them into doing it. You go girl! 😘💕
Awesome! Let me know how you like it when you give it a try. The vanilla was my favorite tasting, but the coconut was really good too! Didn't try the chocolate or the chai because I'm staying away from caffine.
First product: with the details she mentioned by about the product one could just take a multivitamin (maybe $11 for 2 months supply or so) & an omega pill to get the vitamins & omega. I do agree this does not cover the amino acids or protein from the drink part. from what she's said the protein from the drink seemed to really help
Hi, I love Your channel and how You make it! At the moment I have very damage hair from very often coloring by drugstore hair color (the " best choice" , I know, its my mistake"). Thanks for a amazing tips of vitamins, some of them Im going for sure to buy :)
This is great and I will look for these supplements to take. I’ve been struggling with hair growth for years. Hopefully these work for me. Also I’d like to mention you’re on prenatal pills which of course would help with hair growth; for someone not expecting we shouldn’t intake them.
Hi Paisley! I was just trying to be completely transparent and tell everything I was taking but I forgot to mention that for women who are not planning on trying for a baby, who are pregnant, or nursing, I would recommend with my humble, unprofessional opinion, take the MegaFoods multi (or any food based multi) that's right for them. MegaFoods has multi's for different age ranges to meet different needs. I would still expect good results for overall health including hair growth with those multis! And soon I'll be switching to them myself. Still consult with your healthcare provider before making any changes to your supplements though! Always good to get advice from a professional 😊
I have hemp seeds everyday so I am sure I would love hemp protein powder too. In fact, I think I tried some Manitoba Harvest Protein Powder in my smoothie, it was a free sample, and I loved it!
Oh no! Sorry to hear you aren't loving your hair right now. Sometimes it can take a few weeks for a new hairstyle to grow on you (or for the people in your life to accept it 😂) but if you don't, taking the vega shake should help your hair grow faster as long as your not at your maximum speed dictated by your genetics. Making sure your body has all the vitamins it needs is in my opinion one of, if not the most important factor in hair growth.
So how many supplements are you taking a day? This seems like a lot (even though I’ve already purchased most of these but i’d feel like I’d be popping 20 pills a day😂)
Hello have a question I've been seeing your hair growth videos it's amazing your hair is so beautiful I wanted to know have you tried a baby and me2 also what is the difference between baby and me and baby and me 2
Yes, otherwise I'll forget it. If you can remember, it's probably better to have them spaced out with all the meals. I just take them with my smoothie bowl in the morning.
That's really interesting! I've never heard of anyone having hair loss from using Vega but it's totally possible because everyone's body is different. Check with your doctor or dietitian first to see what they think!
If I had to pick two, I would pick a good plant-based protein powder with lots of greens and vitamins, like the Vega I mentioned, and my second pick would be a food-based multi like the MegaFoods women's multi. Hope that helps!
I just came across mega food brand some some weeks ago while searching for a probiotics for my kids.after reading about it I realised it was a good brand based on the fact that it is food based.i now feel comfortable to give it a try for the kids!! Thanks
What is the source for the DHA? And why that instead of Fish oil. How do you make sure you're getting enough omega 3? Plant based omega 3 is not the same and doesn't convert into much of the type of omega we need, so how can we get a proper amount without fish or fish oil?
Fish get their omega 3 from algae. The algal DHA is the same, except it is safer (important for pregnant and breastfeeding moms especially) since mercury is a big concern with fish ( nutritionfacts.org/video/mercury-vs-omega-3s-for-brain-development/ ) I think this might be your concern (www.betternutrition.com/natural-rx/fish-versus-flax-oil) but as long as you don't eat lots of vegetable oils like I do, you don't have to worry about omega 6 to omega 3 ratio messing with conversion.
The vitamins are food based so they are food, just foods that have been formulated to cover all the nutrients that are less common in a standard american diet. And it really isn't too bad. It's a lot of pills if you aren't used to it, but it becomes a regular ritual.
This is true but I'm not currently pregnant. My hair is actually growing faster now than when I was pregnant in 2016! I'm the healthiest I've ever been and my skin and hair have been reflecting that 💚
I'm not a healthcare professional so you'd have to talk to your doctor about that, but for me, I haven't had any problems taking both on the same day. Everyone is different though so make sure you seek professional advice 😊
There is a megafood multi for non-pregnant women at different age ranges too EDIT: updated the dead link 💜www.amazon.com/MegaFood-Multi-Balanced-Multivitamin-Tablets/dp/B01CQ3E4B4
watch the video for more detail but these are the products/techniques she listed:
1. vega one - protein powder
2. food based - mega food vitamins
3. mega food iron supplement
4. prenatal DHA
5. my kind organics - calcium supplement
6. Choline trophics
Thank you!!❤️
THANK YOU
Finally something realistic and scientific for hair growth, and not these sugar gummy crap shows
LOL THIS MADE ME SPIT UP MY WATER! Too funny 😂💜
Believe it or not sugar bear hair actually worked for me🤭

Brenda Monge I was shocked to read all these gummy vitamins have some type of sugar! I rather take puur organic ones
Mooi Meissje it is truly shocking. :(
Oh wow never seen this much hair growth before in 6 months..i hope it works for me
Same here, I will follow her way as well. 😊 Good luck...

My dermatologist told me to eat protein everyday. It's natural for B vitamins to give urine that color you noticed.
Hey I have a question so I see that some of these vitamins are for mothers but I am not a mother and have never been one, can I still use??
The inositol in the choline supplement is a hair growth booster
Haaay! Awesome, I didn't know that! Do you think me taking it once a week would have an effect or would I need to be taking it more often?

Yes, otherwise I'll forget it. If you can remember, it's probably better to have them spaced out with all the meals. I just take them with my smoothie bowl in the morning.
Could this work on male hair growth?
How often do you take the vitamins and is it in the morning or spread out through out your day ?
Hello sweety how can i take this vitamin and for how many month I use please define me thanks.
I'd definitely suggest talking to your doctor or dietitian first. They'd be able to give you the best advice about that! 💚
Great video!
Great info. Thank you
Ty 😃 for sharing Sis❣️
woah... I google vega one hair.. and the first thing that popped up was "loss" ? .... i wanted to try but now im scared !
That's really interesting! I've never heard of anyone having hair loss from using Vega but it's totally possible because everyone's body is different. Check with your doctor or dietitian first to see what they think!
Good video,Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! And you're welcome! I'm glad you found it helpful 💜
You think for the vega one organic would work the same?
i have a question so if i don’t take vega one and just prenatal will it work
Thank you so much for adding the dosage you use!
You're welcome!! I wanted to make sure I added that in because I knew people would want to know if I didn't tell! 😂
Great video! Do you take a fish oil supplement?
Thank you! I don't actually!
Hi!! If you had to pick one or two of the products you mentioned to help with hair growth, what would you recommend... thanks!!
If I had to pick two, I would pick a good plant-based protein powder with lots of greens and vitamins, like the Vega I mentioned, and my second pick would be a food-based multi like the MegaFoods women's multi. Hope that helps!
Can you list the vitamins in the description please?
That is why i read all the comments to see if someone has listen the good one
For real that's too much info it's hard to keep up.
You take all of these pills in one day :0?
Wow i want to buy all of these
Let me know if you get good results with it!

I just came across mega food brand some some weeks ago while searching for a probiotics for my kids.after reading about it I realised it was a good brand based on the fact that it is food based.i now feel comfortable to give it a try for the kids!! Thanks
That's awesome! 💚
After puting in all these supplement, do you still have space, for real food?
The vitamins are food based so they are food, just foods that have been formulated to cover all the nutrients that are less common in a standard american diet. And it really isn't too bad. It's a lot of pills if you aren't used to it, but it becomes a regular ritual.
When you are pregnant, because body releases hormones, it helps the hair grow.
This is true but I'm not currently pregnant. My hair is actually growing faster now than when I was pregnant in 2016! I'm the healthiest I've ever been and my skin and hair have been reflecting that 💚
is it bad to take the vega one protein shake and the multivitamin supplement in the same day cause they both have vitamin a?
I'm not a healthcare professional so you'd have to talk to your doctor about that, but for me, I haven't had any problems taking both on the same day. Everyone is different though so make sure you seek professional advice 😊
is it okay to take the mega foods if you aren't pregnant?
There is a megafood multi for non-pregnant women at different age ranges too EDIT: updated the dead link 💜www.amazon.com/MegaFood-Multi-Balanced-Multivitamin-Tablets/dp/B01CQ3E4B4
Did the protein supplements make you gain weight?
Yes, food based vitamins are the best.
