stripedsweater520 lmfao
Same tbh
Hell, I can barely afford that with all the washing and rinsing! 😂😂
I got the jar 😓
💀💀💀💀
In 2050 every black girl hair is going to be this long
Your Favorite Duo yeah if they start at Young age
ayuana bradford yeah I’m 12 yrs old starting this I’m excited lol
Chigozirim ᴖᴥᴖ omg what really!? that sucks :(
If evert black girl starts that regime now it will only take 4 years to get 36 to 48 inches of hair.. Just have to stay on top of it..
Sooner than that bite your tongue lol!
Lordt Jesus this a full time job 😂
😂😂😂😭😭
Yes it is!
I was thinking the same thing
kyesha walker yes lol. I'm like I have a job and a kid. When will I have time for all of this 🤣
Mel Love girl you won’t 😩

🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
I'll come back to this video when I have money lmfao
A Boondock lol
Lmao!! I was thinking the same thing once she introduced the 5th conditioner! 😂
😭😂
Too damn much 😂😂
A Boondock lol, just get your own products, that works for you. They might even be products you have at home already, just document everything, products, routine, and outcome.
some of products that might work that are found at home: coconut oil, olive oil, onions, baking soda, apple cider vinegar, mayonnaise, eggs, water etc
Nah I just moisturize and leave my hair alone and it grows just fine yall tryna work miracles with all this work
Look at how guys do the bare minimum and maintain long hair. "Moisturize and leave it alone" is the key. I would just add, eat well and as healthy as possible, lean protein will help. Exercise also for good blood circulation.
Exactly ! Honestly Sometimes I feel like we do too much to our hair .
@@a.m4806 the less you do the more it grows.
Miss Chocolate yes
Amen
These are the most cheap/affordable product ESPECIALLY compared to alooooot of other RUclipsrs. Not judging, but what tf are yall using if you cant afford olive oil and VO5??? You can literally find at least those at any dollar store!
im sayin!!!
Well I just turned 15 so in a while I'll be looking for a job (if I could find one) but one of the first things I'll be doing is to try to buy these products
Now you know she used more than just 2 products lol...
The V05 and olive oil are very cheap but don’t ignore all the other stuff she mentioned...
KellEastCoast bruh I saw more than two products in this video
Who ever “trimmed” your hair is a damn hater they did that shit on purpose they knew what they were doing
Whitney Patterson what I was thinking lol
Whitney Patterson Some of them are so unprofessional at times and very jealous that her hair is quite long and beautiful while theirs is still neck length since 5 years ago. 😒
They did the same thing to me and my hair is really short right now
I don't get It her hair was hella long in the before video
Smh this is why I will never let a hairdresser put scissors near my hair when it is long!! All I see I hairdressers hacking of peoples hair! I worked to hard for this, hell naw!
Guys, I said EXTREME. No this is not going to be your average regimen whatsoever! I said multiple times I like options when it comes to products/I don't like using the same thing every week just bc I get bored! I've never ever used allllll natural products (probably never will). I'm not saying you HAVE to do this or that you HAVE to use all the products that I'm using....do you girl (or boy) -- just sharing like I always do! CHEERS!
Melissa Denise I just wrote you on Snapchat
Cinderella Saavedra that's a great idea, I think I'll do the same.
Thank you for sharing your tips! I have most of these products onhand so seeing a routine in action is SUPER helpful! For extreme results you're going to have to put in that work and I think it's worth it completely 😁 it's keeping it up once you see results that will be my struggle lol
Wait so can u put your hair in protective styles when you r doing this challenge or no
Melissa Denise star
Why are so many people hating on her product list, its not like she just bought all these products for the challenge... Everybody has a collection of products they use, me included, she's just using what she has seen to work, FOR HER, on a more consistant basis... Just do you and what works for you. If you can't commit to your hair, don't do it! No need to hate on her... 😒
How to cook salmon
Good point!
It's just too much info on so many at once. Makes things complicated. That's all.
Fyre Burn then take notes
People can just use what they have on hand.... I would suggest buying the biotin tho
It seems like people with really long hair always want longer hair lol
I don't see anything wrong with that.
I don't think there's any fault in that.
Not always. I did cut my hair when I didn't like it that long.
@@aamnahere6250 I cut my hair too all this work
So?
Sad is the shrinkage... I'll grow my hair to my feet to be in my waist when it's shrinked 😂😂😂😂
😢🤣🤣🤣
Facts my hair is now waist length wet is at my shoulder 😩

Melissa Denise I'm definitely in. Just wondering though: wouldn't it be easier to do have a Google+ group where we can all interact at all times?

Melissa Denise I’m definitely doing this. I’ve been trying to grow my hair out for so long. Hopefully this works trying to grow my hair out before prom. ❤️
Melissa Denise in
I will do the liquid biotin and wild growth oil/castor oil. Wash hair every 2 weeks, and moisturize hair as needed. Deep condition with every wash when hair is out. I'm in the challenge
Wilda Mondestin so do you deep condition on the same day as your wash day? Or can I add my usual hair products and deep condition 2 days later? Sorry I'm a new natural 😫
I'll probably do something similar with incorporating these products she recommended.
Wilda Mondestin I can’t take wild growth oil the itch is terrible 😩
I'm in ! But I'll be starting a little later. Christmas got my pockets coughing lol
Namaste Namaste 🤭🤣😂lol. That was hilarious.
Namaste Namaste had me dead with laughter!
Namaste Namaste yes same over here. Pockets on frozen. Now I gotta order that protein conditioner to get started. I'm all in.

Recipee for long Hair:
1- L.C.O method (liquid, cream, oil)
I love mixing different oils: Sunflower, avocado, Castor, olive and Doo-gro.
2- protective styles ( I get box braids and twists and make them last a good 4-5 weeks).
3- A good wash day routine (shampoo, a good deep conditionner)
4- Air drying instead of blow-drying
5- Reduce or eliminate heat totally
6- PATIENCE. It will grow, just give it time😀.
L stands for leave in
AGREE!!! I USE ALL THESE OILS This always been my way and it works!!!! DEVOTION PATIENCE find ur routine and products because to each its own. But I use these oils combine on me my daughter and mother and it works so......🙏🏽💜
Renee the boss L stands for liquid. Yes it could be Leave-in..but technically your primary moisturizer should be water. Or you could mix both(I do that sometimes) but water is ideal 😃When you’re dehydrated for instance your body would respond faster to water vs juice/soda..do you get the idea?
Magic Power
Protective styling doesn’t really help grow ur hair it just stops u from messing with it
Title says recipe for long hair, not grow hair.
This is sooooooo much.....
Lyndauna nothing is easy. Take it or leave it....
LaBelleCongolese is it your video....plz to kiss my Jamaican ass
I know right! It's so overwhelming.
Gladness Manana very much
Lyndauna 😂😂😂😂
I use wild growth hair oil too , it really works
I think I'll try that. I always wonder if it worked.
deva190 it works but everyone is different. Me personally give it a week. I grew up with no edges it brought them back
ok, thanks It'sDriaWorld.
That’s my oil, but I ran out. I’m going to go out to get more.
Danreael growth products don't work
Beautiful hair and your regimen is awesome. Also, I believe that some (not all) stylist intentionally cut a little too much hair because they're secretly jealous.
I absolutely agree. I was thinking the same thing.
I’ve always thought that
I agree.
Totally agree. By the way, you look like my friend Erica.
Yep happened to me. I said can you clip my ends and style my hair. Homegirl chopped my hair into a short bob. But it's ok. Had she not done that. Don't think I'd be natural right now. But still. She sent me into the state of shock.
Let’s be honest you always had long hair since you were little
FindingMyWay #life it’s not always that way
I had long hair when I was younger but I got a cut and now I can’t get long hair again so maybe it’s the routine.
Yeah she shows her hair towards the beginning of the video and it was long and thick. Girl this I'd genetics. Periodt. Going to be a lot of disappointment here :/.
Lol exactly! I have long hair always have and I'm hairy all over
.it grows so rapidly its annoyin af! Pep think I'm doing magic when it's simply genetics but also protecting the length
@@DomCTBG lol I agree with that. And her hair texture when wet is not the same as most black women who aim for growth. I know for sure my hair doesn't look like that, sometimes it so spongy the water hardly wants to go through lol.
Yo I don’t know about everyone else but I love how you got straight to the point and not only did you break down the steps you showed how you do your hair. Your hair is gorgeous as well as you Black Queen. The two problems I have is I don’t have time, and my hair is not thick like yours so it’s discouraging, and that’s probably why you have a lot of haters. But I will challenge myself to do a better job at tending 2 my hair until Jan 1 and hopefully I gets results using some of your tips. Thanks 🙏🏾 for the video!!!

How much did you spend on all these products?
I'm coming up on 3 months of liquid biotin already switched from pills that I was taking for 7 months... I've seen three inches so far with the switch and I make my own 7 oil mixture,,,I also deep condition and protein treat.. I'm proof that is worth it!!💯💯😘💋I actually ordered and started taking it immediately after watching and subscribing to the first video fyi.. /!\Everyone is Different/!\
Congrats on your results! What do you use for your diy protein treatments?
Adorna Midnight I'm sorry,, I didn't mean to say I make my own protein treatments,, I use aphogee 2step
Mike Mike Where did you buy your liquid biotin?I want to know if I can buy from a store instead of online!

Mike Mike Ok thank you!I'll try to find it in store if not will order online😊
YOUR HAIR IS SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!!!
There is nothing more beautiful than a Black Woman in her natural hair.
I agree
@Valerie O'Brien Everyone loves what they love. I prefer God's natural creation, but there are beautiful women in every country.
Dammmm that’s a lot of work 😂😂 I be an old lady by the time I finish 😅
I'm in it sis 🙋🏽♂️ #TeamPochahantas
Cleopatra Penny Pochahantas was a nickname of mine growing up! I'm in, too!
Now that's some gorgeous hair. Just so you know, aphogee uses gelatin as the protein in its protein treatment. You can use whole eggs or clear gelatin you get on your own and mix it with water and oil to use as a protein treatment if you want to save money. You can also use 1 part vinegar to three parts water as a clarifying treatment for your hair once a month. And have you considered rice water? Ah just saw you do the mask with clay and vinegar, that's an excellent clarifier :-)
I've seen your posts before and you're always speaking truth. Love it.
I’m sooooo down for this challenge!!! My hair has been growing immensely but this is about to take it to a whole nother LEVEL haha. Thanks for the tips and suggestions to get started!
I was diagnosed with Cancer in 2016. I lost ALL my hair during Chemo treatment. It's starting to grow, which at the time of being Completely bald...I NEVER thought would happen. I'm going to try your challenge and see if it makes a difference. Thanks for sharing your tips...
Pamela Davis God bless you and your hair journey! You got this girl!
StefaKnee riggghhhtttt
@@pdavis1063 how's it going?
@@pdavis1063 try watching videos on rice water as a rinse and a leave in. Also videos on what supplements, oils, and conditioners that work. Don't over do it with a lot of products the hair can only take so much and only a few can also show good results. A good shampoo, the fermented rice water, a good leave in/daily moisturiser and good oil mix alone should show results... But try to eat right, stay stress free and get your sleep while on your hair care journey. Hope you feel better and stay Heathy. Jah Bess
Braiding hair and leaving it braided for weeks is also helpful
Note to self: Not everyone was designed to have long hair but HEALTHY hair should always be primary no matter what length. I Keep my hair clean, conditioned and hydrated and let mother nature do the rest 😊
P.S. thank you for the exceptional list of products. I will look into many of them for my own regimen 💯👏💙
Niccole Evans i feel everyone can have both long and healthy. Black people where mislead that our hair is bad so now we are going back to natural hair what God has blessed us with because he mad no mistake. I don’t agree with all those products I think it’s a waste time and money!
Exactly
Yeah I disagree too, you can have whatever hair length you desire praise God.
That doesn’t even make since, any1 can grow their hair long. If you genuinely tried u could grow your hair as long as hers.
@@Catsgivemelife well it made "sense" to me. It is my opinion; it is neither right nor wrong - but it is mine. If U feel otherwise, then that is ur opinion and as long as it makes "sense" to U, that is all that matters. Have a blessed life. 🤗

All these people saying there are too many products and steps is ridiculous. these are things you should be doing anyways. Clarifying, condition, deep condition, l.o.c. etc. ok so the clay might be extra but you don't have to use that. And news flash we need protein treatment ladies. The frequency can be once a week to twice a month or whatever works for you. Ok vent over.
ashley tanner yaas that protein is a must especially for us that wear wigs and braids a lot
ashley tanner
ashley tanner I think sometimes we don't seems to love our hair so much to dedicated enough time, and when we even do spend the little time we give up easily because our expectations are not met(comparing the growth to others)
Like everything good in life needs LOVE,. patience, time, dedication
ashley tanner ywks
Olusola Udom you are absolutely right. Nothing is overnight.
Once I changed my bad eating habits and started eating healthy, my hair grew. I didn't even do it for hair growth. I did it because I was having health issues due to my bad eating habits. I never stopped using my same shampoo and conditioner, Suave. I was shocked when I noticed my hair was growing. I am African-American.
YESSSS!!! I'm glad I found this comment 😊 Diet is usually the root to fixing A LOT of issues concerning the body!!!! GREAT FOR YOU!❤️
And they say it's genetics 😏
Y'all don't need all of these products and have to do all of this either... I only use Shea Moisture JBC leave in, coconut oil, water, and twists. Those 4 things helped me retain a lot of length within a month. Why do people use so much and do so much is baffling to me???
im an alien how much leave in do you use. I use a lot but I think it might be too much! Also, do you use it everyday! 🤓
I agree that's too much stuff for me, I need a simplified hair regime. Water daily I agree. Moisture

There are ALOT of negative comments.. and it seems like self loathing is the commomality of them all
She may have an extreme routine. She may have had long hair since she was little... but she didnt ask not one person to tune in.. u did that on ur own. So dnt b mad at her for sharing. If she was stuck up and said no, people wud have a problem with that too.. genetics or not, there is alot of useful info. And it shudnt b thrown away bc u dnt feel like YOUR hair will look like HER hair.. growing and embracing your OWN healthy hair shud always be the goal..

Girl yo daddy Dominican you can’t tell me nothing different 🤔😂😂just joking beautiful luv 😍
This is literally a basic hair regimen with suggestions for internal help as well (smoothies, liquid biotin, etc). Y’all focusing too much on the products and not what she’s doing. Just prepoo, shampoo, deep condition, moisturize the hair during the week, scalp massages here and there and protein treatments and hot oil treatments. All stuff you should be doing anyway. I’m not understanding the confusion. All of this isn’t done every day and most isn’t even done in the same week.
Kaylyn Boyd
All this isn’t necessary and/or regular 😂
It's part of her challenge, it's not meant to be normal.
I'm in! I cut all my hair off supporting a friend who has Lupus in 2014 since then I have cut my hair to the begging of every year and my little girl doesn't like it. She's always reminding me that the word of GOD tells us that our hair is our glory. So... no more cutting for me but I need to learn to take care of it better. I put different oils together and I use MOST all natural products. Seriously just ordered the Biotin oil, use hair fertalizer, Mix my own oils in a crockpot with fresh rosemary, I also do all food based conditioners but I do have the AP as well. Honestly I dont know my hair I just try and be good to it. Oh I do have a spray bottle with water. Maybe I should take out these corn rolls and give it a spray down tonight. Can't wait!
*Begining of every year, I'm sleepy.
Ms Sykes
What do you use as a good based conditioner? For ex avocado and banana?
Actually, what has been working really good for me is: Mayo, one egg, Avocado, bananana, coconut oil, tea tree oil, olive oil, fresh alo vera and honey. my curls are really defined and my hair is very soft. It's a tiny bit of work but it's worth it it for a 4c girl. It really takes my curls to another level
I hate castor oil I have that same one Bc with my acne it’s harder cause u don’t want ur face oily but u need ur hair too so idk what to do lmao
I'm ready to go from mid-back length to waist length! I already use Aphogee, Aztec clay and Peppermint and Black Castor Oil Oiland other oils so all I need to do is order the biotin. I avoid silicone so some of my conditioners will be different. I love Camille Rose's Algae Renew condish. I can't wait to hear everyone's results!
This is my hair routine 👏👏
So I wash my hair weekly and moisture every 2-3 days
1. I Rinse my hair with water 🚿 and part it into four sections so it can be easier to cleanse
2. In my four sections I will start to shampoo my hair after I finish shampooing each section I put it in twist and leave it for about 3 minutes just so my scalp can be nice and clean and sometimes my hair can take 1-2 weeks without a wash when I do this method
3. After three minutes I will rinse out the shampoo in my hair then after I finish rinsing I will take the twist out
4. I get my rinse out conditioner (it’s very thick) it has the most best slip ever and makes my hair so SOFT!! I apply that to the 4 sections then twist it and leave that in for 7 - 10 minutes after I will rinse the conditioner out and undo my twists
5. I finger detangle mostly but when my hair is very tangled I use a wide tooth comb
6. I blowdry my hair on LOW HEAT....I add Leave In Conditioner this also protects my hair from heat damage and 2 different types of heat Protectant Spray and Oil..... so I will get absolutely no damage especially as I am using low heat
7. After I finish I will put moisturising cream in my hair and oil
8. Then I will do a low manipulation hair style like 2 buns
9. The next day I will spray my hair with water from my spray bottle
10. After the next couple of days my hair will get very dry so before I go to bed I split my hair in four sections and apply my Leave In Conditioner, Spray my hair with water, and follow in with an oil...... I will plait the 4 sections and go to bed with a Satin/Silk scarf
I will answer if anyone has questions 🤗
well i do put jamaican black castor oil on my edges before i go to bed, i wouldn't say it 'grows' them......try the mane choice growth oil x
I'm in! I've got the biotin. I am using products that work for me. Im trying to do a lot of protective stying because it's extremely cold where I am and I don't want the weather to set me back. I already have a pretty good hair routine but recently had a set back where I had some thinning. The main things I am adding from this video are biotin and daily watering, and doing pre poos.
I just big chopped my bday is in 6 months. Let’s go

@@OnlyNe. Sorry the delay...now my longest section is 19 inches. That's 4 inches in 7 months.
I thought this was so complex but u know what everyone , once u got everything wether it’s what she recommends or the products that works for you..... it’s not so much 👏🏽 keep it coming and thanks for your advice !!!
Stina T I agree!
You have beautiful hair.
I'm absolutely in💪💪💪
I hope we all see great results
Interesting tip about the biotin. I used to have breakouts as well.
I’m going to take part in this challenge. I have to get my liquid biotin and I think I’m good on the other stuff
Oh my gosh!!!! Seriously??!!! This is more than a full time job! I can't, I'll pass and all those products?? Daaammnnnn😂😂😂😂
I love how she has super long hair and doesn't use nothing crazy expensive (except the GU products, but it was only like 2 of them). It's proof that we don't need to go broke to grow our hair.
OMG!!! Your hair is freaking GORGEOUS!!! I am going to try this regimen to the best of my ability do to I'm on an island with limited supplies and hit or miss shipping, lol. So I may have to tweek a few things but I'm going to try. I have a lil past bra strap length but thinning as I get older. You and your hair are beautiful! Thanks for the info and tips! And I hope your challenge was successful.
I’m in....
I’m trying to have healthy tailbone length hair.
Tina Rivera all the best
How did the challenge work for you so far?
This challenge is not the growth of hair. But the shrinkage of your income after u buy ALL these 10 million products. This should be called the "SURVIVING MY HAIR GROWTH CHALLENGE"
Every woman with long hair has 9/10 said she got her hair cut by someone and it was too much...eve out here hating on her fellow queens! Thank you sis for these videos i cut my dreads 3 months ago and before i had hair down to my butt like you did before the evil jealous bitch cut your locs. But just like Sampson your true strength lies within! Shema yisrael Yahawah our God is one. Peace & blessings 🖤 Shalom!
Thank you for kind message! I appreciate it! I wish you well on your new hair growth journey be sure to pop in from time to time to let me know how it’s going! ❤️
9:45pm, UPDATE::🤔🤔🤔 hahahahaha...just noticed this video is from Dec. 2017!!??!!😂😂😂😂 Good lawdt!! I'm still going to try this out starting Jan. 2♡19 anyways❣😍❣
I'm going to join in this challenge January 1st❣ I have serious afro hair and I'm coming off of 32 years of relaxing my hair. Now, I'm focused on the repair, strength and growth of my hair, as well as the front & top edges of my thinned out hair!!!!! I have high hopes sis☆❣❣ Thanks for the education!!🤗😍😇
Some beauticians like to give drastic trims, by going over the trim until half the hair is gone. It's happened to me enough times. I only trust myself now.
So true!!!
I only need my 14 inches back I don’t wanna sit on my hair!
Sherrie Real 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We love it! We actually have a video similar on Black Women growing their hair in two years past bra strap length, go check it out.
Just saw the video. i many of these items and can substitute the rest. Will keep a calendar and see where I am in three months. Will be starting tomorrow, Jan. 21st. Wish me luck. me
Out of the hundreds of videos I've watched this is the most thorough. I love how detailed it is.
Oh wow thank you!! Some others would beg to differ lol but I appreciate your comment!
AWESOME tips THANKS, and your hair looks FABULOUS💎💎 it is healthy, bouncy and shiny🤗
A question to you? Please don’t tell me this person wasn’t cutting 4 inches at a time? Your hair looked and still looks very pretty and healthy.
We can get a posse of us women together. I’m just saying. 👸🏾 👑
I dont like going to hair stylist because once they accidently (or for some of us "accidently") cut off our hair they keep cutting until it's straight I really don't trust hairstylists
Honestly hair growth depends on genetics. I don't care how many products you buy or how many regimens you have.
That ponytail though 🔥❣
Yea um that’s too much good luck to anyone trying this challenge
Lol I want long hair but this? I'm sorry but it just seems like a full-time job.
yeah it seems a little excessive
Im in ! And subcribed!! I did my big chop and i want my hair back, so lets get it🤗
I use natural remedies like rice water, fresh aloe Vera, Shea butter and essential oils such as coconut, castor, rosemary and peppermint to grow my hair and it REALLY WORKS!
I started using the rice water in my hair a few weeks ago and even documented the method on my RUclips. It really works and helped prevent breakage and my hair is much stronger.. love, love, LOVE this hair remedy!❤️❤️
I am curious as to what your WHOLE nationality is? I see AA, but there is something else genetic there as well, possibly Asian, or even Native American. The reason I am asking is because this will not work for everyone hair texture, although it may work for some by mixing up the oils and finding one that works. My hair was just above my waist for years and then I cut it to the middle of my back. I am AA and Cherokee, but Cherokee from many many many generations ago. For years I was presse dout and curled and that was it, then I started using Biotin in 2008, and it added 4-5 inches to my hair almost instantly, like within 1-2 months. I continued to use it and in 2017 I saw a shift in my hair growth, it did not grow as quickly and became more dense. I now just co-wash it with Pantene and use rosemary oil to keep it moist. But is now very thick and curly. I am 50 now so it is changing dramatically. Your hair is gorgeous though.
Yesss viewssss ! Love it
U have beautiful hair!! 😍 i just don't think I can remember to do so many things but will try a few if those 👍🏻
Your hair didn't grow.... it's the same, long
Instead of VO5, try Vick’s vapor rub on your scalp. I works wonders. You doing a great job and thanks...
All I do is condition, grease and braid. Take biotin gummies, and leave my hair alone! It grows fast, its thick and it's healthy.
I'm in! I was already planning on doing this, so your challenge is right on time 😊
Shalawn C
Me too
Right
are you avoiding heat?
Definitely...to think I thought I covered everything!!!
I’m here for heat lmao.
I saw in other comments that you avoid heat. How do you straighten your hair without using heat?
Joy Mouzone its LITERALLY impossible to stra8en your hair without heat.. she saying thats she avoids using heat too much
Heat is bad for your hair
Ponytail is BOMB....count me in the challenge.
