    Hey Brandon, just discovered you and I have subscribed. I think your content is excellent and on point. The only criticism I would have is the editing of your videos. It feels very jerky or almost flickering and I do find it hard to watch after a few minutes. Maybe work on smoother transitions. I have watched a number of your videos and there are always a few comments along the same lines. Please keep up the good work, thanks.

    Hi Brandon.. Thanks so much. I just finished watching your webinar. Thanks for the great info. My question is: I have dabbled with my Etsy store for over a few years, selling jewelry and POD shirts. Do I need to start over with a new store if I'm starting a new niche?

    • @brandontimothy

      Yes I recommend starting fresh using the 4 step method mentioned in the webinar :)

    Hey Brandon thank you for the knowledge i appreciate it. I've been going down the etsy ecommerce rabbit hole and i had a quick question about saturation. i know you said that it's not really a real thing, but on digital products especially i have been seeing a lot of 100+ or 400+ printable design bundles, don't you think that type of listing ruins the marketplace? i know many people have said that it's a good idea to do bundles but this seems like oversaturation on a new level

    I started my first store around Feb, and I'm sitting on roughly £900 in revenue.
    I've been using ChatGPT to write product descriptions for me, and since I've started prompting it to use popular keywords, it has increased my sales. My conversion rate is sitting around 4.3~5.2.
    I just wish my products had a higher traffic ceiling as with just Google Shopping Traffic and Etsy traffic. I'm only making around £250-350/m for the last 2 months. Its steady growth but I want to expand soon.

    Regarding uploading many listing at the start, I heard of many people who have their store suspended early on because Etsy thinks it's a spamming bot uploading all those listings at once. I do not agree with a certain youtuber's advice to only post one per day but I wonder about the risk of getting shut down if you upload a lot in any given day, especially in a new store.

    • @brandontimothy
      @brandontimothy  Год назад +1

      I think it really depends on the quality of each of the listings. If they’re all very similar then yes, Etsy will suspect something and may suspend you

    Hi Brandon,
    thank you for this video it’s pretty helpful!! I have a question. I’ve started an Etsy shop in November 2022 but it failed.. so I wanted a fresh start and deleted all my stuff. Two weeks ago I’ve offered new products in the same shop (with new design and such)but I don’t have any sells till now.. I know you’ve said it’s better to make a completely new shop. Should I offer my new products in a completely new shop even if I have them currently in my shop? I’m so thankful for your answer! ❤

    • @brandontimothy
      @brandontimothy  11 месяцев назад +1

      It’s best to delete it on the old shop if you’re going to have it in the brand new shop with a fresh start. This is because you don’t want to compete with yourself with the same products/keywords

    Hi Brandon thank you for all the valuable information. I have a quick question, too. We opened our shop in june made three sales in total (2 of them is from friends&family and one came from etsy ads.) We got, three 5.0 reviews. But there's been no sales for 2 months and no seo traffic. I realized thanks to your videos:) I've done some strategic mistakes, weak keyword research etc. In this perspective, should I open a brand new shop and delete the current one? Or just renewing my listings and products with proper keyword research, proper tags&title writing will be enough to crack our first $250 sales to became star seller?

      Hi there! To determine the best price for your printable wall art on Etsy, start by analyzing your competitors' prices. Check what similar items are selling for, consider your production costs, and factor in the value you provide. Discounting is a bad idea. Unfortunately, too many are doing it to try and gain an edge, but hurts everyone in the long run. It conditions consumers to only purchase sales, bargains, closeouts, etc. It devalues the product.

      You should only be offering sales around actual holidays and events. For example I had a father's day sale running for 2 weeks coming up to the 18th. (Father's Day in the UK)
      This campaign brought me in $263
