years ago I was playing a video game with a friend, and we were talking in vent about game related stuff.
Out of the blue he asked me how a kid we both knew managed to live in Utah, and stupid me, I thought he was talking about the weather being hot in the summers. NOPE, he was referring to the kid being Mormon.
Because the kid wasn't in vent, which looking back I'm glad he wasn't, this friend (now former friend) came after me for being catholic.
First time I let go, then came Christmas, and he began telling me about his family's Christmas that year. Before the meal his dad said grace and thanked God for having his kids with him for Christmas. well, instead of just bowing his head down and being quiet for a minute he began telling his dad off. which is what I told him off starting with the A letter.
After that I stopped talking to him.

"Things can exist without needing to be created!"
    Not material things!
The second law of thermodynamics suggests that the universe is depleting energy, which indicates a beginning and that it's NOT self-sustaining... Unlike the God of creation, who having no beginning is an eternal and self-sustaining being...
This is where they miss the point, IF the universe has a beginning (and it does), then litterally, whatever created it (the universe) has to transcend it in every way. Immaterial, spaceless, timeless, personal, self-sustaining, all powerful, etc... There's no rational way around this.

A story from the book of 1 Kings, where a prophet by the name of Elijah when he beheld 400 false prophets of the false object of worship called Baal said to them if you think you're God to be the answer then assemble yourselves and call me fire down from heaven; Elijah said to them likewise shall I do the same as the story goes the 400 false prophets of the false being made themselves a bunch of ruckus calling out to the lie they believed.
Elijah surely used scripture from the word of God the Old Testament or Old Covenant or Agreement and fire did fall from heaven.
The more you get right about God the more he shows up.
God is a spirit those that worship him must do so in spirit and in truth. John 4:24
Don't just have faith, have faith in God, and his word. There is surely a type of extreme unpleasantness already in the Earth, have you seen it, are you delivered from it?
Job 38:17 "Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?"
Job 38:33 "33 Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?"
As a child, I would have dreams in be in many nightmares where underground tentacle monsters could sense my slightest movement and impel me,
wars, dreams of persecution, the grim Reaper, things would get wild. I remember calling on the Old Testament name of God Jehovah, and I remember things
did not end well for me when I was being assaulted by a witch. However, ever since I was a child the name of Jesus has never failed me, when I began to call on his name
Even recently, a spider demon with a human face around the size a 42" TV was crawling on my wall when I awoke from my sleep.
I spoke the name of Jesus quite a few times and I attained Mercy unto myself, for that because Jesus has the authority for this reason.
John 3:35 " He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."
1 John 2:23 "Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also."
I believe that God cares for his creation and doesn't want to lose them, because I believed in Jesus and had the humility to honor his name many times throughout my life.
I attained mercy through the New Covenant, agreement, or Testament. Only parts of the old still apply. The old prepared place for the New.
I believe Love is many things, and is doing many things read 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (KJV) and study the langauge of the time (Middle English) and do for yourself an order of operations properly like you would use in Algebra. A few things I believe Love does it when you matter greatly it is a kindness(: an act to preserve and help you), that never lies to you.
John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
John 1:14 "And the Word:λόγος(in ancient Greek) message, expression of God's ideas), was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
For if I read James 1:5 (KJV), do not leave out James 1:6,7, and 8 (KJV),
and while we at it live by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
If there are 18000+ religions in the world I know to whom I say go to save me trouble, the name and the ideas that I will confess as Lord to be serving of and to call my friend.
Proverbs 4:19 “The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.”
A concept of the word is the idea that is behind it or what should pop into your head by what the author is meaning. If you do not have the idea of the word correct you have a misconception and it changes the whole story.
Read the KJV, pray for wisdom, pray without ceasing: don't go a day without it.

The idea matter amd energy can't be created or destroyed is an assumption which appears to support and act as a naturalistic observational guard rail to understand physical processes... but it's can't be proven, norsis it properly axiomatic.
In that that sense it's akin to the scientific premise that the universe is a "closed system"... how do we know its a closed system? Closed off from what? No, again, it's a kind of "rules of the road" to eliminate spurious unprovable speculative factors and focus the naturalist on what causal factors can be readily observed, and if these factors can be measured and calculated and they explain all the known effects... then you have your answer.
But in no sense can we PROVE the system is closed, or that energy isn't ever annihilated, nor matter created ex-nihilo.

    • @skataguy5050
      @skataguy5050 8 месяцев назад +1

There is a significant difference between the everyday use of the word "theory" and the scientific use of the word. In common use, a "theory" can mean just a guess someone has with little evidence. In science, a "theory" is an explanation of an aspect of the natural world that can be repeatedly tested and corroborated by the scientific method. Theories are the highest forms of scientific explanations of things. Theories have undergone rigorous testing, and all of the tests point to the theory being correct.
So, the Big Bang theory is much more than a random guess. It is the best explanation we have using all of the evidence we have today.
I encourage you not to take my word for it, but for you to look up the difference between normal theories and scientific theories. This is a common misconception from people who need to do just a little bit of proper research.

Yeah. They changed the definition from when I was going through school over ten years ago.
Theory, from my Science Class, is that of a plausible, yet unconfirmable, conclusion of what was and is based on the limited amount of observable scientific entities that can assist to reach that conclusion.
Science is about observation. Yet Evolution and the Big Bang cannot be observed as they have already happened.
But even then, if they were confirmable, absolutely true events, it really only proves that God exists, as "nothing" is not a creating thing. I've yet to see a Truck or an Apple just pop up out of nowhere, from nothing.
"That's not how that works" says the atheist.
Clearly it is considering that an entire universe and its existence is propositionally imposed as having come from non-existence itself, which is nothing.

What gets me about atheists is that one dumb question of " Then who created GOD "
Like that question is the " ah, gotcha " question. When it's as smart as saying grass is pink.
Nobody created GOD, that's why he's GOD. He was always their. Time doesn't exist to him he's past present future all at one.
He's literally the reality and the universe incarnate. He is the beginning and end, the alpha and Omega.
He is the beginning essence of a line. Regardless of how small the line or large the line it is infinite.
    He is.
He is the start of the big bang. As scripture stats then he said " let their be light " and BOOM!! a bright light was formed which was the sun, moon and stars all made on the same day.
The big bang is actually told to us in scripture.

I suggest you read up on the order of creation in the Bible or whatever holy book you follow. All of them have unscientific predictions about the world that have been proven to be false by our research. Also, according to the bible, god created light on the first day, and then created the sun, moon, and stars on the fourth day. Where are you getting this information that god created stars at the same time as creating light? That's not what your scripture says...
This order of creation was so obviously written up by some early humans that didn't have any scientific understanding of our origin. It gets so many things just categorically wrong. How did god create light on the first day, but then create the sun and the stars after that on the fourth day? Where was that light coming from before any stars existed? Make that make sense, lol.

When I look at history, at how fast civilzation has grown the surviving texts and remains of previous structures I do not believe cognizant, cooperative, intelligent, and fortunate humanity has been around that long.
I recall a dream in which I began to watch a horror movie and lay witness to a frozen snow wasteland and a dog surronded by 5 people began to listen to the five voices around him and dig a whole that ran super deep into a cavern with dark crystalite and the faint illumation around the party, and as a dream does I remember things progressing and then being one of the characters in the hole. I saw that there was a village down there where parasitic worms had taken controll and ravaged the denizens of the cave I began to run because these fucking things were ferocious they might as well have been a kracken leaping from a sea to snatch your body. I began to take hold of a rope and climb out of the whole we dug having to dodge arrows. I arrived out the of the hole and sealed it a small lid and told myself I got to warn everybody about this shit.
A small child began to climb out of the hole and I had the breif glimmer of joy that an the child was going to make it and we could survive the ordeal, however I took notice of my surrondings and saww that man who appeared to me the likness of the popularized image of Jesus dead and zombified to a grotesque degree and to my horror the child had worms in his mouth and eyes as he did not survive.
Then I awoke and remembered that I sometimes imagine myself as a child holding on to Jesus, a child of the same physical desription I held and that a Dog is a symbol of unbelief in the bible and that demons are mentioned in the bible as beings in an unseen realm just like you can't see COVID or gases with the naked eye and may require a special lense to peer into another layer of reality going on around you, and that demons are named as beings that spread misinformation as false ideas;thereby, trying to spark and encourage hate and wicked fear, and that not every voice or thought that pops into your head is yours.
That to me the idea of Jesus dead and the child being a symbol of being unlearned and unstable in joining and becoming the dog in his descent had no more a savior as Jesus was dead to him. I also remember there being a red truck so who knows where we headed next. Worms are mentioned in the book of Isaiah Chapter 66 and book of Mark chapter 9 to be a kind that would never die as they eat away at flesh along with the everlasting and unquenchable fire.
As well as crimson being decribed as a color for sin in the beggining of the book of Isaiah.
See. (Matthew 7:6, Mark 9:48, Isaiah 66:24, Isaiah 1: 18-20, Hebrews 1:3, 12:2; 1 Peter 3:22, John 1: 1 and 14 Jesus is Gods message, words, expression of his ideas and likness, John 3:16, Hebrews 3:6-12)
I remember now that I have had hundreds of sleeps and some dream not at all, and sometimes my dreams have been the most buckwild and random shit that who could have imagined the characters and the story. God choose that this would
      happen.

The thing is, the "nothing of the gaps" statement is a total misrepresentation of what atheists actually believe. It is a strawman as old as time, and it's not fooling anyone except for theists who haven't stepped outside of their belief bubble.
Atheists don't believe the universe came from nothing. Not one informed atheist will say that we think that the universe came from nothing or that we know it's possible, because nobody can know that.
Funnily enough, theists are the people who believe something can come from nothing. Theists will talk for hours about the laws of the universe and how atheism can't account for how we came into existence, but then they invoke special pleading to say that their god isn't bound by any of the standards that they were holding the atheists to. Theists will argue that something cannot come from nothing and that everything must have a cause. Then they will go on to say that their god has always existed and has never had a cause. Theists constantly break the standards they themselves set up for atheists, and they don't even realize it.
All in all, there is no fallacy on the non-believer's side. It is not fallacious for atheists to say to believers, "I don't accept your god hypothesis on the basis of lack of evidence." The only fallacy here is the god of the gaps. 😄

We are stating that there is an entity that created the universe of which we understand very little but is in some sense personal. That does not mean that it isn't true. You can explain something true in a very concise way. For example, you could say that a child was born because a couple had sex. That doesn't really go into very much detail concerning the process. As a christian, I am fine leaving it up to scientists to formulate a more elaborate explanation. However, that won't change the basic truth that Christians know in their hearts.

The Big Bang also proposes the defiance to physics itself in that all matter occupied an atom's space of existence. Even though no two things of matter can occupy the same space.
Simple example: Water and Air, though sharing composite atom material, still cannot occupy the same exact space. Those who propose it can, must have the scientific ability to breathe under water without an air operated breathing apparatus. So its even more magical that all these things, these various atoms on the Table of Elements, many having explosive consequences if they are mixed, all somehow managed to exist in harmony with each other prior to the Big Bang, and then suddenly just have this immense scientific divorce? A simple analysis from a 3rd Person perspective, like that to Christmas, is absolutely beautiful in that you notice the flaws to the thought process when you don't have to get a grade or forced to believe in it.
That and the physics in destructive force, such as the Big Bang would have destroyed all things immediately. How does life produce from an irradiated universe that has no biological material from which to slough forth? Such destructive force would leave a universe of very fast moving rocks over varying types of gaseous composites that are heavily irradiated with intergalactic star juice. How can you have life when every other planet, reasonably, shows the result of radiation destruction? But our planet somehow happens to get the right position, with the right orbit, and somehow, enough life manages to survive from such a destructive explosion? If the argument is of such similitude, should not Mars have a bustling life also? We are, after all, defying the very concept of reason by our own existence. Evolution would have managed to figure something out by accident on Mars. But yet the only "life" is bacteria... To which the same people call a child in the womb a "parasite". So their logic is morally and intellectually flawed anyway.

Atheism is not a religion and atheists do not have to believe that "Nothing created the universe". I know I do NOT believe that "Nothing" created the universe. It is the religious who MUST BELIEVE that a particular God did create the universe. EX. Christianity says a God created the universe out of "Nothing". Atheists Literally do not have to BELIEVE anything regarding how the universe came to be. It is not a dogmatic religious view. We are free to BELIEVE anything, even that a God exists, but we simply do not BELIEVE that concept. PROVE a God exists and I am all in with it. What God? Is it your God or another God? PROVE IT !

I’ve always been confused by atheists refusing to admit they have beliefs. “Belief” is the nature of knowledge itself.
You cannot verify every single conclusion you have come to with rigor. Most things we accept as true axiomatically. we have webs of evidences, truism, facts, axioms, and beliefs all mixed together - we call this a worldview. Everyone has a worldview.

Because the matter that compose the universe could be indeed eternal but not in movement. The universe coming from nothing is simply a logical entailment of your position.

1:40 Christendom created the scientific method as it was developed as a form of worship by men like Copernicus and Newton based on the assumption that since God is a law maker, reality obeys his laws, and God wants us to understand him and hold dominion over the Earth then it would make sense that the world would be comprehensible and that learning the "Divine Works of God" must be seen by him as a goodly form of worship. So yeah Christianity does have a long relationship with Science.
It could be said that Science itself is a gift from God

For the fellow History & Science Nerds. Georges Lemaître model was called the Theory of the Primordial Atom, do to it positing the universe spawned from a an ultra dense atom. The "Big Bang Theory" was actually a mocking name applied to it by an Atheist radio personality, to try and demean Monsignor Lemaître & his work.
It is also funny, as many actually believe that Steven Hawking's (an Athiest) created the Big Bang Theory. This I have heard from both ill informed Christians and Atheists alike, however there is at least some valid reason for this misunderstanding. As Hawking's work which greatly revolved around Singularities or "Black Holes", actually ended up contributing a lot to the good Monsignor's theory. Thus why it is now widely believed that the matter from which the universe initially spawned was a supermassive black hole rather than Monsignor Lemaître's "Primordial Atom". Of course even Lemaître only really conceived of the Primordial Atom due to knowing that the explosion he posited would need to come from an EXTREMELY DENSE source, which Singularities very much are. So it's not like this new data has drastically altered Lemaître's model.
This change also has done thing to prove where the point of origin came from, in fact it arguably makes it even more baffling...

This lady is wrestling with a spirit and it has blinded her. I used to wrestle with the same foolish spirit (because a fool hath said in his heart that there is no God) and God literally has done so many miracles. As a Pentecostal I’ve even felt the spirit through laying hands in both I couldn’t feel my feet and in the spirit coming upon me and having to just lay down with no strength of my own. I’ve seen my mom get healed through laying hands. I’ve seen other people pass out and be healed (trusted people who don’t lie and have sound intellectual minds). God is real and knowing Him is beautiful. What is real is actually so much brighter and mind blowing then what we can see and comprehend on this dim earth. ❤

There is this book that answers these questions about The Beginning. "Before Genesis: The Unauthorized History of Tohu, Bohu, and The Chaos Dragon in The Land Before Time" by Donna Howell and Dr. Thomas Horn.
This has been the best book that I have ever read outside of the Bible. It's interpretation of the age of Earth and what may have really happened in the days of Adam. By stacking massive amounts of evidence in favor of a harmony between science and theology. It's a book that will start a war as some scholars has said to this author. Giving a modern perspective to contemporary science and the age old question of what God's first enemy did to Earth in the days it was "without form, and void".
Y'all should check out the book and review it.
