@Dogs Bollocks no need to be so drastic.
Alot of them do it unfortunately. You can buy these special clips that go through the perspex window and hook on the inside of the car to stop it happening... The red Evo 7 I drove in one of my other videos had it 😊

That’s another level, I thought my Clio 182 with a supercharger kit running 320hp was quick, but this is so quick especially with that sequential box! I’m aiming for a strong 380-390hp (still the Clio F4R 2.0 with the s/c but with forged pistons and rods this time round not just rods and need a pulley spec sized up too with a new set of itb’s (enclosed kit) the next refresh I’m doing.
320hp is also more then plenty in a Clio 182!
whats the best thing to do to make sure engine takes the beating at 200hp?
@@DinoPunušković-k9t basic maintenance and have some mechanical sympathy for the engine/gearbox and the F4R 2.0 Renault engine can take a “beating” as you put it. Mine took 72k miles to 105k miles over 2ish years as a daily driver October 2019>2021/22 doing silly 300 to 400+ mile round trips on weekends away, 13 track days, totally standard power wise except for very entry level basic exhaust, suspension & polybushed. No issues at all, oil/filter changed after or before every track day, plugs changed every 6 months and cambelt/dephaser/water pump was changed during those times too. Clocks currently show 134k and it still loves a shit drive to work stuck in traffic or being thrown around Coombe with minimal prep at it’s current state/power, no issues with s/charger, no gearbox issues (well….before LSD yes issue arose but after that was sorted the chocolate boxes have stayed sort of together for most of the abuse).

This is one of the finest videos I've stumbled across in a long time. What an absolute weapon of a Clio. When I was in the Renault scene there was a VAG engined 172 @ 500bhp( 2006/7).. this creation is another level - what a car, great work 👍

This guy can drive. You can’t tell from the video but he’s fighting the torque steer from dragging him into the oncoming traffic or a ditch, and still staying flat. He seems pretty happy too lol. Great video

Haha! They're fibreglass doors 😉 Unfortunately it happens with these with how air comes over it. You can buy some special clips to minimise it, but they're not cheap. Thanks for the sub mate! 💙

Yeah quite subtle compared to a lot of them, my EP3 turbo was externally gated pointing to the floor, this is plumbed back into the exhaust.... makes a huge difference in sound!!

Fibreglass door mate. They suffer from flexing at high speed on Clio's, so there's clips you can buy to hook them onto the inside so they don't flex

😄 As much as I want to go down that route, I'm not going too! Had mine mapped recently NA at 240bhp, may push for 260bhp which will be more than enough and reliable for track 😊

Quite worrying that the passenger door keeps opening at the top.
Haha its because they're fibreglass doors, the air flows up and down the seal so they bend at the top. There's clips that you can buy to stop it that hook on the inside from the window
It's so annoying, that you cannot drive such cool cars legal in Germany, if the registration is in this county. Can Custom Production do such a swap on a mx-5 NA (Miata) or the newest model with sequentiell gear Box? Must be super funny with rwd and under 900 Kg with lightweight parts
Unfortunately they're just limited to Renault chassis, but they've just developed ones for a Mk2 Megane chassis
And I am sitting in my clio mk2 1.5dci with 65hp and watching this :( INSANE! 😁

He didn't take it to pod unfortunately mate. The speedo wasn't working at this point either so I'm not sure what the 0-60mph would be. I've not long released a video of this with a rotrex Supercharger on track, check it out 😎🏁

The more I see of this K20 Clio the more I want to do it. Mine has a crunchy gearbox and engine is on 126k. Doesn't need cambelt and dephaser changing for another year. I feel as though if I can get a K20, higher top gear and an LSD in one go installed I could easily do some man maths on it being a better choice than binning the Clio and getting an EP3
@Dogs Bollocks because EP3s are around 4k, all the work is already done in the engine conversation department, has independent rear suspension from factory and has tonnes of aftermarket support.

Standard EP3 box with an LSD fitted should be fine on 15 inch wheels ratio wise

Brand new I think you need to budget around £10,000. Not a cheap change, you can get cheaper second hand. There's alot that can go wrong and there's a fair bit of upkeep to them aswel
Torque figure of 27,8 seems low for such a Turbo set-up..??
They run low being a K20 anything mate. Anything around 300lbsft is about right, mappers try and cap them around that mark as the gearboxes can be abit hit and miss

Yes this was an normal Clio 172/182. Custom Production do the conversions and change them into these weapons 👌🏻

To K20 and turbo yes. For the Sequential Gearbox, they're very expensive so it'll be over 15k Euros with everything. If you watch my K20 Clio 182 videos, I total things up in Part 2. Part 3 explains how much the DIY kit is!

Yes, very stiff setup. It's a track car really so it's not really setup for the road to be honest

100%. Trimming the oem metal doors would be almost as light as fibreglass and actually fit. Been there, done that.

я одного не понимаю, в России корчи на 500сил едут обычно и каждый день и двери не отходят, как не смотрю на иностранные корчи, там все уже отьезжжено, двери отходят, все гремит и так далее... Причем за границей корч на 500сил стоит 15к зелени , а у нас все едет за 3-5к. Вопрос: или у нас все дешего или есть умельцы, или у них все дорого и нет умных людей...
