This is the total cost of what it cost me to the spec it went too. It can be done alot cheaper (depending on what you want) and if you fit it all yourself. Thank you all for watching, hope you've enjoyed this mini series 😊
It’s mad how the cost mounts up isn’t it, I was also shocked and I did it in the ek9 which is a much simpler swap. People always say k swap is cheap but it’s far from it

I think the rear ARB isn't installed properly, it sits too low. There's a L shaped bracket there where it clamps to the shock absorber bolt that is put upside down and it makes it sit too low
Quite possibly mate, I know they sit low but maybe it’s abit too low eh. I haven’t got the car anymore unfortunately, I moved out to Australia, but I’ll try and get hold of the guy so he can check 👍🏻

Yes and no... it's one of them. It depends 👀😄 But as far as I'm aware, you're meant to have one... but TVR's and others don't have one as standard and they pass
@@GEARED_MrLucas Not saying you're lying. Saying they've overcharged you somehow mate. Completely understand there's a some fabrication work, but it's a relatively simple engine swap (fwd 2.0L engine into fwd 2.0L engine bay) and they're a shop that specialises in custom swaps fabrication. You can whip an F4R out in 3 hours if you know what you're doing. Lets say a day in welding & then painting.. Then a day in re-fitting the engine and connecting the harnesses up. That's 2.5 days. Lets be generous and give them a day fault finding and trouble shooting. So around 30 hours. Where's the other 15 hours = £1200? Genuinely intrigued!

He is keeping it cos he clearly not getting a 13k price tag. You can get a meglio for £7.5k that would pull harder and handle just as good if bot better on track. I know cost of living has gone up but some people live in a bubble with some of the prices they expect for their modified motors
