Dollar General has a nice larger elephant in gray and pink for 10.00. It is in the valentines stuffed animal section.- Good for someone that just needs 1 for a girl
You're welcome! I always wonder if I should make my video titles be about Silhouette too since the projects work on either machine. When you're searching for projects do you search for Cricut or Silhouette?
Do you have any experience with Kinrex versions of these elephants? Just curious as it adds a few other color options. Thanks for all the helpful videos. Love them
Kerri HELP😮 I downloaded the boy elephant with text and uploaded it to DS but it comes in with a box already around it measuring W 5.492 x H 17.837 I can’t seem to get rid of? When I try to resize it smaller tue elephant is so tiny I can’t work with it?? Thanks for all your videos!! 😊👍🏻 I’m now seeing the big box is around the stats ear not the name ear. Can’t get rid of the box?
@@Cricuter FYI...I made my first Birth Announcement Elephant. It was beautiful but the lbs was incorrect. 😔 I'm making another one that has the correct information but I can use that one as an example now. Thank you for your videos!
Aww thanks so much! You'll be seeing a lot more of me now that my kids are both in school full time 🙌 I'm planning on posting 2-3x a week so stay tuned and thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I’m starting my business and your channel has been a huge resource and inspiration. I’ve got so many project ideas that people have already shown a lot of interest in and I’ve been able to organize my whole business plan all because of your generosity.
Put a piece of the cover sheet (that clear plastic layer you peeled off) that's bigger than the whole design over it and reheat it for like 15 seconds.
Love your videos! I'm going to make my first baby elephant for a neighbors baby shower. I love the font! I bought that and the template for the elephant. Thanks for the website link it was so easy to download and upload to Cricut.
Oh no! You need VLR! I applied it with a q-tip and gently rubbed until I could pick it off with my tweezers. Then wiped it with a wet washcloth and let it dry before I tried again. amzn.to/4aOLP8X
This is a photo of the problem; look at the photo as you can see there is a box around the elephant which prevents me from utilizing the svg. I also noticed on your video you talked about a box be annoying. Please assist. Thanks,
I can't seem to get the SVG to download. I get everything but the svg portion. I'm sure it is me goofing up, but not sure where or how I keep doing it. Help please.
Sorry for the delayed response. Sometimes comments get lost in the mix. Once you open the zip file it shows all the different options "png, jpg, svg, etc" Just download and save the one that says SVG. Just fyi you can also upload JPG and PNGs into design space. Hope that helps!
After you install the font you have to close out of design space and then go back in. Once you're in the fonts you have to click "system fonts" its like the middle tab
Sorry for the super delayed response. I'm just seeing this comment now but wanted to reply anyways incase anyone else had the same question. You need to type a number using the text tool. Then click on the number. In the bottom right corner there will be a double arrow that allows you to shrink or enlarge it.
Kerri!!! I've missed you, and hope you had a wonderful summer. Your video came at the right time for me--i became a Grandma in August. Although I've made a couple of birth elephants, I needed a refresher and I'm so glad Design Space has a design for it. I already bought a couple of the elephants (for less than $10 ea!) and now I am motivated to get going on it. Welcome back!
Hi Kathie! I am SO HAPPY to be back! My youngest started kindergarten this year so it's my time in my life with no kids to take care of 8-4 🙌 I have so many videos planned. Hope you don't get sick of me 😆 Congrats on your new grandbaby! How exciting!
I can see how you would think that but once you get the hang of making them it goes really quick. Plus if you get a bunch of orders you can make them at the same time. It goes quick when you design, cut, weed everything at once. I'm sure I could easily make 10 in an hour, which is $200/hour. Working for someone else I would never have the opportunity to make $200/hr. Nobody said running your own business is easy though! It definitely requires a lot of time to generate the sales, make the merch, send it out, etc.
@@Cricuter yeah, everyone is in different situations. I run a 3d design business on the side and charge $100 an hour to sit at my computer. I could def see taking time to make one of these for a friend or loved one though. Labor of love situation

every time I do this the square where the htv transfer she was was leaves a mark. How do I remove that?

How did you learn what heat setting to use? The video looks like medium is the setting you chose. Am I correct ?
I kinda just winged it. Yes I used medium for about 10 seconds per press
Just made it, set it aside and realized I misspelled name. Can you take vinyl off of ear?

You have to keep ungrouping it. You may have to click ungroup a few times when you click on different parts of the design
So cute 😍 I can't wait for my elephants to come in and try this out. Thank you for sharing ❤️
