I've been a fan of Eminem for 20 years, since I was 9. If you've heard all of his music you would know how emotional the guy is. He holds on to his past a lot. I feel like his music is what keeps him going, it's therapy for him and his true fans. Slim Shady for life 🖕🏻
Right there with you brotha, 20 years going strong! My mom once broke my Slim Shady LP CD in half when I was in elementary school cause I got in trouble and she thought it was cause I was listening to Em 😂😂😂
Em is VERY loyal & sensitive! Unfortunately almost everyone in his life let him down one way or another. That's why he is the way he is. We feel that deeply. 😔
I remember nolifeshaq back when he had 400K, he ain’t switch up after he blew up love this man!! Can’t wait for when he becomes the biggest rap reactor on RUclips and hits 10 million
For the younger generation: D'Angelo Bailey was the bully that beat eminems head into a urinal when he was in like elementary or middle school. It put him in a coma and had to relearn his motor controls. He raps about this on Brain Damage
Bro, what if that brain damage is somehow why he's on such a diff level lyrically. Brain damage has been known to give people spontaneous savant-like abilities.
I'll never understand how Eminem is not being touted like Elvis and MJ and The Rolling Stones. People just keep hating on him. Highest selling rap artist of all time. He is literally the reason Rap music was able to go mainstream and Penetrate suburban markets. He fought Supreme Court battles over free speech in music and won. He has always put on for the Hip Hop culture and at 47 years old he has one of the highest selling albums of the year but critics say its average. Music to be Murdered By is Grammy nomination worthy in my opinion. 47 years old and hes the 5th most streamed artist of 2020 as MTBMB is in the top 5 in album sales. Once again, he's 47 outselling the current top young rappers but critics say it's trash. Unreal. Its going to be a sad day in ALL OF MUSIC when he dies. Won an Oscar for his music. Wrote every single lyric to every song he ever murdered. Always spoke his truth. Never pretended he was something he wasent. Let his fans into his personal life through his music. Put his whole life on front Street just to get respect in Hip Hop as a white artist. Not only is Eminem one of the greatest rappers ever if not the best, we also have to start recognizing him as one of the greatest musicians to ever live.
Simplest way to put it is the controversy surrounding his music it made it difficult to openly support him back in the day and now that white rappers saying controversial things is more or less normal, he just isn't putting out the same volume of music so isn't as big a presence. I guarantee you this though, the day he dies all of a sudden he will be exactly as you said, listed among the other greats of all of music combined not just rap. But i hope it happens before then so he knows how much he really means to us. Give your heroes their roses before they're in the coffin and all that.
His music helped a lot when i was going through rough times.....I respect him a lot coz his words you can relate with yourself at that emotional level man!! I learned not to give a fuck about anything from Eminem 🙏🙏. All Respect Em!!! A Real Stan ❤
I've always said Em has got a song for whatever mood you are in. You wanna be pumped up he got your bk, you want a break up song he got your back, and love song he got you! if you want fight music he literally got a song for that. And you wanna reminisce over the days you miss, again he has got your back! Not really bothered what people say about him an if they give me funny looks for being a fan/stan! But slim shady is a living legend and will become something biblical when he leaves this mortal plain. Long live the king 👑✊🏻
"No coming back from where I'm going Sky is dark my soul is black..." Giving props to skylar for setting such a dark tone with the hook. Everyone feels the darkness when her part comes in. Sweet double entendre
My father left when I was a baby. I remember him beating me at 3 years old, my mom refused to allow the abuse and divorced him. She was a white woman raising mixed black and white babies when it was rare to see. I never spoke to him throughout my life. He left my mom with 3 kids, alone and she got ill, raised us on welfare because she couldn't work. My brother found him 25 years later,, I didn't care to see him... Father got sick, he called my brother and said"get your brother on the phone or tell him I'll beat him like I used to" as if that was funny?? I never let him hear my voice, it was something I didn't want to give him, not a single breath of mine. I told my brother to tell that side of our family," I'll see him when he's dead". Well he died, I went to his funeral at 32 years old, I finally met my entire family that I never knew. Everyone was crying, except me, literally except me. I had no feelings, all I looked at were his hands in his casket and thought about the pain I felt when he knocked me into a wall when I was a baby. Then, to top it off, since nobody thought I would show up... The obituary had my mom's name spelled wrong (obviously they didn't know her) then the story about "all he loved were his sons" WTF!? I was disgusted reading it and I sat there and thought... "I'm glad you're dead, you piece of shit" Let's just say, I'm feeling this song. Btw, I became a college grad, bought a home, never arrested, never did drugs, took care of my mom when she had cancer and always knew I would've turned out like shit had he stuck around. Thanks Em, I needed this song, glad I'm not the only one. R.I.P to my mom.
I feel you bro. My father walked out my family too and it something I carry with me today. Good for you for overcoming it and making something of yourself man.
The day Em leave earth will be the most saddest day for a lot of people, his voice reach the whole world. There will be people who rejoice on his death but those voices will be outnumbered by the one who love him. He told us his life on his songs, he have been a light in the darkness for a lot of people and the helping hand to those who needs it. I will binge the entire Eminem catalog when that day comes.
I remember when eminem stated that when tupac died was one of the saddest day (for him and his co workers who also were part of hip hop, he was working in a restaurant at the time tupac passed away); well i feel the day em dies would be like that or even bigger
Well let us not think about that know. I actually gets sad just from the taught of it. Marshall have a place deep in my hearth. Most of his personal things like he has gone through I can relate to.. never seen my father. My mother have been a drug addict for most of my life. Even drugged her children when she was "tired" of us. Since I was 7 years old I've been living in 16 different foster homes and other institutions, changing schools like a normal kid changes socks.. I'm now 30. Got a wife, a beautiful daughter who I love more that life it self. Marshall has for me been my "mentor", That even though life treat you like shit you can always find a way around. His songs for me will for ever be therapeutic and relaxing and a way for me to "escape". They day he disappear is the day we actually lose a great poet and musician. Yeah I may sound like a Stan. Maybe I am. It's not like I'm worshipping him in anyway, im just saying that one person has the power of affection another human being. If I hadn't been sitting long nights in my youth smoking weed, listening to Eminem's songs and "escaping" I doubt I'll be alive today. But that day he puts air in a bag and gets ready to leave. Well that day I'm gonna be very sad. But life goes on and he will for ever be remembered for who he was.. may he have many good years left on this Earth.
His mom was terrible, his dad left him, his best friend was shot and killed, the SJWs are trying to "Cancel" him, because they're offended by one of his verses, and those who actually support him are labeled as "Stans" like being a big fan of one of the best to ever touch a mic is somehow a bad thing. The fact that he can get out of bed every morning and function as a normal adult, is incredible.
Most of us wouldn't be able to function or would have killed ourselves in his position, you forgot to mention the way his wife acted when he got famous and rich instead of supporting him..she did what she did.
When EM leave I'm going on a marathon of listening to his songs for the whole day and I ain't stoppin' till they all play. Man when he leaves I'll cry like a muhfucka
This song is so underrated, such a good flow, the hook and beat hit hard as hell and Em's lyrics are phenomenal in this song. Most of all though its the emotion and his pain in his words which brings this song high up on my list of Em's songs
"My God, what a heart of a demon, go at 'em/Adam, and I'ma get even/Eve, Like I'm in the Garden of Eden" -That right there is crazy the whole God, Adam ,Eve and Garden of Eden and it continues with Evil line Eminem is a genius with his wordplay. I haven't seen any reaction video catch that but it took me like 5 times listening to this song before I caught that. This is definitely one of my favorite songs from the Album ❤️🔥
@@JitendraKumar-cc6kq bro lmao you know we don't actually mean it like that we're just saying that he's just that great and/or has had that much of an impact on our lives.. don't think too literally 😂😂
This is one of my favorite songs. I like the sound of the shovel that runs through the background of the track. Em’s father died like a year ago. He never met him but his dad wrote a letter to a newspaper and was holding up Marshall’s baby pictures and crap. That had to hurt. His mom sued him for his money, isn’t in his life, dad left when he was a baby and comes around after he made something of himself acting like he has any right to be proud. I would be angry too. The real emotion here is powerful
scott hendricks can you blame Em? He left him with a mother he knew wasn’t capable of giving him a worthy upbringing, only to start a new family on the other side of the continent, never to reach out to his son again until he was famous.
VikingFevahGames That’s why I said if the letter is true. He says that he looked and could not find them and then they were never in contact for the divorce. Idk it just seems like a shitty situation overall
Shit had me in tears thinking about kids struggling due to a selfish person walking out on them. Alot of people live daily with that pain. Im getting ready to have my first biological child and i promise to do everything in my powers to make sure they feel the love my dad showed me.
He's talking about his school bully again: "Where the F you were at when De'Angelo done hurt me real bad at the Rio Grande?" De'Angelo Bailey is Eminem’s well-known childhood bully. He’s mentioned him many times before, most notably on “Brain Damage” on SSLP album.
There's so many artists that say they started from the bottom, and none of them ever seem to have been as broke and depressed as Em was before he got signed.
Makes me think of the Drake track. Except no he didn't...before rapping Drake was on TV and before that he was okay enough off...Em one of those artists who came from dirt, which may be why he's so liked and related
This album is going to be like fine wine! .. and I love when he let's other artists do their thing on the hooks because it creates a beautiful offset to his rhyming and story telling! #EminemClassic
I’m Probably 1 of the Biggest Em Fan Out there, been a fan of him Since 96 when he released Infinite , Got all of his Albums , Been to every Australian Tour, Got Posters, Met Him once, Autographed Eminem Hat, His shoes he released , Every Tour DVD, Up in smoke Tour, 8 Mile, The Wash
i love how you’re not doing this for the views. if you were then you’d have done all the reactions the same day the album dropped. instead you’re giving us time in between reactions. you’re the reactions goat.
yeh but dropping all the songs same day doesnt actually help ur views, u get over saturated and not get the due views . ALso u gotta know that EM tracks are like drugs, it is hard to resist, so ya! a reactor dropping all the songs same day doesnt mean he is soley chasing views,
Damn Shaq, you got me out here cuttin onions when you started talkin about your Dad. Real talk tho, your ability to reach people and connect with so many people with your passion for music, far surpasses anything anyone can do with a basketball. You don't need to be a player, you're already the coach. :)
In this song I love how he say's that he is taking a free pass to hell only to whoop his fathers ass. And how at the end of it he just laughs and say's see you in hell. As if he is 100% sure he will find his father there and will have the chance to beat him, just about the same as he was beaten troughout his life as he has described within the lyrics.
That bar was so sick...That garden of Eden scheme was so crazy. The other that got me was on Marsh he says with all this ABC shit im starting to sound like Alf a bit but I caught that. What I didn't catch was alf was on the channel ABC. Just nuts
I get goosebumps on lots of lines and watery eyes and choked up. I had a similar up bring. But as a kid you think it's normal. Then there is a moment in your life where you look back and realise it isn't normal and it was f'd up, then you get depressed and turn to drugs. Very relatable, even more so when you get your self out of it and come clean like em did
SHAQ, YOUR REACTIONS TRULY ARE THE BEST ON RUclips, MAYBE ALL THE INTERNET!!!!!! I've been a fan of Eminem since the first time I heard him years ago when he first hit it big. His music has always had emotion, which is why I love what he does, to me that's what music is made of. I've tried over the years to understand what it was and why it was that I liked his music.....and I think I just found out. Leaving Heaven says it all as to why Eminem is who he is. Listening to the lyrics (bars), this was his way of making peace with the past because he realized that what happened to him as a kid is what made him push himself to the success he has in life now. WE CAN FORGIVE IF WE CHOOSE TO, BUT DON'T FORGET! Eminem and myself are almost the same age, I'll be 49 this September, we are the same generation, a generation of kids who had enough liberty to be able to speak out against the wrongs in life and the world without the fear of social or legal persecution, atleast in North America. We figured out how to voice ourselves to try to make the world a better place. As I've listened to this album and other Hip Hop and Rapp with you Shaq, learning about Hip Hop and Rapp in a way that I never knew it, and forming a much bigger appreciation for it because of your channel, I've also been listening to Eminem very closely because although I didn't know why, I've always related to his music in a personal way, no doubt the same as so many others have and do. Luckily I was never abused by my parents so I won't claim I understand how someone feels because of it, but I do understand mental pain. I have had events in my life that took my Dad away from us when I was 8 that really fucked me up for years. 20 years ago I finally realized I needed help to let the anger go because I was destructive towards myself out of anger from my dad being beaten up and dying by 2 cops for no real reason on their behalf, which they admitted to years after in court. The whole event ruined family life for us and put me on a crazy spiral of anger at myself and the world. Not the same situation as Eminem describes here, but the pain and anger I felt for so long I think might be similar and might be why I have always liked Eminem's music. Strangely listening to his music has always had a therapeutic effect on me and I think listening to 'Leaving Heaven', I understand why. Hopefully for Eminem, this was a way for him to let go and find some forgiveness for the things that happened to him towards the people that did them because there's no point going through a persons whole life being that angry and hateful because that only ends up creating that same thing, and the world doesn't need that, no one does. While listening to 'Music To Be Murdered By', I may be wrong, but I'm wondering if this album isn't Eminem's way of killing that past as a whole so that he can move on from that time in his life and find some peace for himself. Music is always symbolistic for the artist. If it's being created from the depths of the artists soul, it is always going to have great meaning to them, and to others in many ways. Seeing how Eminem is in the recent interviews and comparing them to old interviews, he seems to be more at peace with himself and much more thoughtful, but still straight from the heart in his thoughts and words. He seems much more defined in how he expresses himself in conversations with other people, which is usually a sign of a person finally being good in their own skin and letting go of the past because they realize it's only holding them back from moving forward. 'Music To Be Murdered By' beats and bars on every song seems to have that underlying theme of speaking his mind clearly on the shit that has happened to him. It seems that he is telling his complete life story up to present day methodically and in order of how things happened. Each song on this album seems to represent a period in his life with something that was a major at the time, good or bad. He seems to be saying how grateful he is for all of it as it's all what fuelled him to achieve what he has achieved in life. THANK YOU SHAQ FOR SHOWING/ TEACHING ME, HOW TO LISTEN TO HIP HOP/ RAPP. IT'S TRULY OPENED MY EYES ON A FORM OF MUSIC THAT I NEVER HAD A BIG INTEREST IN BEFORE UNLESS IT WAS A BEAT THAT REALLY CAUGHT MY SOULS EAR, NOW A LOT OF HIP HOP IS MAKING ME STOP AND LISTEN (EXCEPT THE MUMBLE RAPP - IT TRULY DOES SEEM LIKE GARBAGE AND NOT WORTH LISTENING TO). I'm so happy for your success on this channel, you sure as hell weren't meant to build cars. CHEERS SHAQ!!! Peace, Love, Happiness, and Laughter - (Comedian) Matt Rossey
I wish the Rap God was immortal. Not just in his lyrics or in our hearts but really just physically with us. Still living in Detroit. Eternally blasting the mic. I will 😭😭😭 so hard when his final day comes...
Eminem has three personalities Marshall: deep and emotional Eminem: the rap god, above superior rapper Slim shady: crazy and angry I believe this one was Marshall
I'm really happy, that I've found this one out myself: "Call me the Grim Reaper ( a nick name for the Death), sleep is my cousin." Isn't this a reference to New York State of Mind? "I never sleep, cause sleep is the cousin of Death (also called Grim Reaper sometimes)." Also Shaq, since you did Leaving Heaven, you NEED to do "Stepdad" next.
"Sleep is the cousin of death" is something that goes waaaaay back to medieval times like I remember it was a part of some book we had to read for class
There is no other artist who can make you go to an emotional rollercoaster and enjoy a song like eminem. Hou almost can feel his pain through his voice. And skylar on the hook is amazing.
Eminem writes beautiful lyrics. They are so deep, so meaningful and so complete. Then he flows them together over a phat beat. This song is amazing! Its deep, the beat is classic, the lyrics are intelligent, deep and delivered "like a boss" If anyone still thinks Eminem is not the GOAT then they need to really take a listen to what he has dropped over the past 25 years and please let me know who tops him.
That last part gets me everytime... When he talks about digging up his dad and then so on after that part... pulls at me deep.. I feel the same way sometimes..
I felt him on this, i used to feel this way about my dad he been locked up 29 years of my 37yrs of being on this earth but i let him know how it impacted me and that no matter what i would never leave my kids for anything or anyone
I can believe that statement. While Eminem has released some of the best songs ever, he's only been getting better throughout his career so I can believe that his best work will come towards the end.
Man... this one hit hard. I didn't have my biological father. My step-dad moved to Saudi to take care of us financially in 94. I was 7 when he left. He had the best of intentions, but kids need their dad. I have 4 and I'm so blessed to have them.
Eminem really pours out his raw heart on his songs especially the one's about his troubled past & those that hurt him & that's why us fans love him so much!!!! Em is ridiculously powerful with his words & to him it's like a counselling session when he's spitting this & totally admire the legend. Another great song from the king
I remember when Em’s dad got on TV trying to apologize. It was painful to watch, so cringeworthy. Em also showed up to 50 Cent’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star reveal
It's nice seeing a reaction channel who actually listens to Em's work not like others who are biased af and only point out the flaws and don't appreciate his loyalty to the game.
I went through the same stuff cuz. My dad left when I was born. I grew up in projects where being white wasn't cool. Got into many fights just because I was the white kid in the black neighborhoods. There was several different hoods growing up. Went to 13 different schools in 4 different states. Had an abusive step dad for 8 years. This song hits home bro. 10 hours after the album dropped, I tweeted Em and thanked him for it. Great reaction as well!
[Intro: Eminem] Yeah (I knew this day was coming) Sometimes, you gotta come back down (It's all going to hell now, man) Stoop to someone's level (Yeah) [Verse 1: Eminem] Five dozen flies buzzin' over your head Call me the Grim Reaper, sleep is my cousin You're dead to me now and I'ma be the last face you see 'Fore you die cussin' (Yep) My eye a tiger's and I'm a survivor so I will rise up and (What?) Be triumphant 'cause when I'm looking at my legacy (Leg, I see) Bunch of dogs tryna dry hump it Like Triumph The Puppet, so I'm like, "Fuck it" Pile the carnage up 'til it's so high, it's touching the sky Let 'em all line up and attack Single filing up in the stack Call 'em toy soldiers (Yeah) 'Cause they just wind up on their backs Now the sky's nothing but black But I am not coming back, I done told ya I told the woke me to go to sleep But still, they keep on provoking me They're hoping to see me completely broken emotionally But how in the fuck am I not supposed to be woke When these fuckers just keep poking me? Now [Chorus: Skylar Grey] I'm leaving Heaven I'm leaving Heaven Angels won't find me Where I am going [Verse 2: Eminem] I've been down, kicked Like around six thousand times since I was a kid As a child, picked on, clowned, been Countless times I've been outed Gotta remind myself of it every now and then (Yeah) So the route I went's self-empowerment In a hole, taught myself how to get out of it And balance it with talents, wit 'Cause life is like a penny (Life is like a penny) 'Cause it's only one percent Who overcome the shit they've underwent I went AWOL like what my back was up against Don't tell me 'bout struggle, bitch, I lived it I was five or six the first time I got my hind end kicked Malcolm, Isaac, and Boogie jumped me and took my tricycle And I don't know if I would call that white privilege, yeah But I get it, how it feels to be judged by pigment Besides getting it from both sides of the tracks But I swore I'd get them back Even if it meant selling my soul to get my revenge and (What?) Thought of a scheme and it got me to thinking If I can believe in myself, I could prolly achieve it That’s part of the reason I do all my talking with ink And as long as I'm breathing, I vow to smother and beat them My god, what a heart of a demon, go at 'em and I'ma get even Like I'm in the Garden of Eden, I'm 'bout to go off of the deep end This evil is calling, I'm already seething and [Chorus: Skylar Grey] I'm leaving Heaven I'm leaving Heaven Angels won't find me Where I am going [Verse 3: Eminem] Okay, so while Macklemore was keeping his room nice and neat (Yeah) I was getting my ass beat twice a week (What?) Looking for a place for the night where I could sleep (Yeah) Flippin' sofa cushions over just tryin' to see If I could find some change and scrape up for a bite to eat If Denaun and me find a couple dimes a piece Twenty five cents each'd get us a bag of chips We'd be glad to get that even we if we had to split We'd do backward flips, looking back at it I think that would fit with the definition of not having shit Couple that with the fact my mother was batshit Pop was a sack of shit, yeah, he died, but I gave half a shit Yeah, which brings me back to the dear 'ol dad that I zero had Since a year-old, forty-seven year-old scab Just to hear them words, ear piercing Like my earlobe stabbed with a needle for an earring Should I feel upset? You were dead to me 'fore you died Me? Tear no shed Should I have made a mural at your funeral? Had your coffin draped with a hero's flag? Where the fuck you were at When De'Angelo done hurt me real bad at the Rio Grande? Never met your grandkids, fucking coward Only guts you had was from your stomach fat I couldn't see your ass goin' to Heaven So I'm asking for a pass to go to Hell So I can whip your fucking ass I hate that I'll never get to say "I hate you" to your face No coming back from where I'm going Sky is dark, my soul is black, hand on the shovel Dig with the blade of it then I step on the metal Vendetta to settle, tell the Devil [Chorus: Skylar Grey & Eminem] I'm leaving Heaven (Yeah) I'm leaving Heaven (You know, I should dig your motherfucking ass up) Angels won't find me (Just to spit in your fucking face) Where I am going (Holding my baby pictures up like you're proud of me) I'm leaving heaven (Fuck you, bitch) I'm leaving heaven (You know what? Maybe if I had had you) Angels won't find me (I wouldn't have went through half the shit I went through, so I blame you) Where I am going (Or maybe I should say, "Thank you") ('Cause I wouldn't have been me, haha) [Outro: Skylar Grey & Eminem] So you better, you better run (Yeah) You better, you better run (So I'ma let it go now, rest in peace) You better, you better run (Cocksucker, haha) You better, you better run (See you in Hell)
That whole verse where he makes the first and last words rhyme so it’s like 4 times in not even a full sentence . “How to get , out of it. “ He can make “how” rhyme with “out” just by his pronunciation then of course “get” and “it”. The whole verse is the same. Freakin crazy genius.
I was just talking to my sister today about the day Eminem leave this earth and I would listen to when I’m gone just to cry even more and get into a deeper emotional burst of tears. Eminem has become a part of life for me and bc of his music I dig deep to push through life in any tough situation. Music is therapy and he composes it well.
This song gives me chill ,tears ,andrenaline rush ,resentment ...And limitless love for marshall..he is the strongest human I've ever seen in my life .. can't ever hate him !! Only can love him more and more ..
I don’t want to think about that day when EM leaves this earth. He is a tremendous part of the reason why I’m doing better in my current life and not dead or in prison! And as for “my father”.... 😡🤬🖕‼️
As a fan from day one I can hear the underlying pain and resentment in every line. I’ve heard it tons of times and still just cried for the first time when listening to it broken down on this. Like him and you, I understand what it’s like to go through life with an absent father. I’m sure it’s different for a boy to be without his dad, though. Deep shit right here, yo.
I've been a fan of Eminem for 20 years, since I was 9. If you've heard all of his music you would know how emotional the guy is. He holds on to his past a lot. I feel like his music is what keeps him going, it's therapy for him and his true fans.
Slim Shady for life 🖕🏻
Well it's definitely therapy for me
Agreed
Same! Fan for 20 yrs and what you said is true. 💯 The real fans of Em know his soul. ✌
That hook gives me chills. Not just her singing, but the words she's singing.
Clint Bolt 88 same here man... I had to take my headphones out and come back to the track!
Clint Bolt 88 for sure 😧
But..but..but...L Jamar said black people can't feel this when our black homes are mostly without a father
yeah it gets me in the heart strings
@@delanoanthony4084 I'm black I'm from da streets n I'm a rapper AINT NOBODY FUCKIN WIT EM HE'S A MONSTA
I remember nolifeshaq back when he had 400K, he ain’t switch up after he blew up love this man!! Can’t wait for when he becomes the biggest rap reactor on RUclips and hits 10 million
Best reactor in every music genre
James Dignan agreed! I’ve been following Shaq since 50k and he hasn’t changed a bit. Coach is the real deal! DATS TUFF!!!
God is Good! He's humble, honesty, and hardworking. Keep grinding Shaq real shit.
This is a real ass comment. Shaq has a good head on his shoulders.
Preciate y’all man ❤️
For the younger generation: D'Angelo Bailey was the bully that beat eminems head into a urinal when he was in like elementary or middle school. It put him in a coma and had to relearn his motor controls. He raps about this on Brain Damage
SLiMMY thank you!
I,m the younger generation i know all of this
NKUniverse good for you
Bro, what if that brain damage is somehow why he's on such a diff level lyrically. Brain damage has been known to give people spontaneous savant-like abilities.
Thank youuuu! I feel like a lot of people don't know this.
Truer words were never spoken💯
They say one thing on why he can’t get that recognition ‘he’s white’ which is a BS reason
He is to me..
Bro gotta b most true words bout that legend
Em went through a lot he pretty much is telling us his life stories. Em hit me in all diff type of ways. I felt his pain. Much love Em.

“When I’m looking back on my legacy (leg I see) bunch of dogs tryna dry hump it”
My father left when I was a baby.
"I'm glad you're dead, you piece of shit"
Let's just say, I'm feeling this song.
Btw, I became a college grad, bought a home, never arrested, never did drugs, took care of my mom when she had cancer and always knew I would've turned out like shit had he stuck around. Thanks Em, I needed this song, glad I'm not the only one. R.I.P to my mom.

He will come to Christ
He's still got alot of work to do on earth before he leaves he ain't going nowhere Anytime soon, Let's enjoy the here and now.
He's still here with us, bro. We should be super grateful because we're born in this generation where we get to witness a living legend

Melissa Kennedy I never read that letter until now. If it’s true I honestly feel bad for the guy and the fact that em never even gave him a chance
scott hendricks can you blame Em? He left him with a mother he knew wasn’t capable of giving him a worthy upbringing, only to start a new family on the other side of the continent, never to reach out to his son again until he was famous.
VikingFevahGames That’s why I said if the letter is true. He says that he looked and could not find them and then they were never in contact for the divorce. Idk it just seems like a shitty situation overall
@@scottyboi04hendricks given the resources Em already had when he wrote that letter, I' pretty sure he could have that investigated.

There was several different hoods growing up. Went to 13 different schools in 4 different states. Had an abusive step dad for 8 years. This song hits home bro. 10 hours after the album dropped, I tweeted Em and thanked him for it. Great reaction as well!
[Intro: Eminem]
Yeah (I knew this day was coming)
Sometimes, you gotta come back down (It's all going to hell now, man)
Stoop to someone's level (Yeah)
[Verse 1: Eminem]
Five dozen flies buzzin' over your head
Call me the Grim Reaper, sleep is my cousin
You're dead to me now and I'ma be the last face you see
'Fore you die cussin' (Yep)
My eye a tiger's and I'm a survivor so I will rise up and (What?)
Be triumphant 'cause when I'm looking at my legacy (Leg, I see)
Bunch of dogs tryna dry hump it
Like Triumph The Puppet, so I'm like, "Fuck it"
Pile the carnage up 'til it's so high, it's touching the sky
Let 'em all line up and attack
Single filing up in the stack
Call 'em toy soldiers (Yeah)
'Cause they just wind up on their backs
Now the sky's nothing but black
But I am not coming back, I done told ya
I told the woke me to go to sleep
But still, they keep on provoking me
They're hoping to see me completely broken emotionally
But how in the fuck am I not supposed to be woke
When these fuckers just keep poking me? Now
[Chorus: Skylar Grey]
I'm leaving Heaven
I'm leaving Heaven
Angels won't find me
Where I am going
[Verse 2: Eminem]
I've been down, kicked
Like around six thousand times since I was a kid
As a child, picked on, clowned, been
Countless times I've been outed
Gotta remind myself of it every now and then (Yeah)
So the route I went's self-empowerment
In a hole, taught myself how to get out of it
And balance it with talents, wit
'Cause life is like a penny (Life is like a penny)
'Cause it's only one percent
Who overcome the shit they've underwent
I went AWOL like what my back was up against
Don't tell me 'bout struggle, bitch, I lived it
I was five or six the first time I got my hind end kicked
Malcolm, Isaac, and Boogie jumped me and took my tricycle
And I don't know if I would call that white privilege, yeah
But I get it, how it feels to be judged by pigment
Besides getting it from both sides of the tracks
But I swore I'd get them back
Even if it meant selling my soul to get my revenge and (What?)
Thought of a scheme and it got me to thinking
If I can believe in myself, I could prolly achieve it
That’s part of the reason I do all my talking with ink
And as long as I'm breathing, I vow to smother and beat them
My god, what a heart of a demon, go at 'em and I'ma get even
Like I'm in the Garden of Eden, I'm 'bout to go off of the deep end
This evil is calling, I'm already seething and
[Chorus: Skylar Grey]
I'm leaving Heaven
I'm leaving Heaven
Angels won't find me
Where I am going
[Verse 3: Eminem]
Okay, so while Macklemore was keeping his room nice and neat (Yeah)
I was getting my ass beat twice a week (What?)
Looking for a place for the night where I could sleep (Yeah)
Flippin' sofa cushions over just tryin' to see
If I could find some change and scrape up for a bite to eat
If Denaun and me find a couple dimes a piece
Twenty five cents each'd get us a bag of chips
We'd be glad to get that even we if we had to split
We'd do backward flips, looking back at it
I think that would fit with the definition of not having shit
Couple that with the fact my mother was batshit
Pop was a sack of shit, yeah, he died, but I gave half a shit
Yeah, which brings me back to the dear 'ol dad that I zero had
Since a year-old, forty-seven year-old scab
Just to hear them words, ear piercing
Like my earlobe stabbed with a needle for an earring
Should I feel upset? You were dead to me 'fore you died
Me? Tear no shed
Should I have made a mural at your funeral?
Had your coffin draped with a hero's flag?
Where the fuck you were at
When De'Angelo done hurt me real bad at the Rio Grande?
Never met your grandkids, fucking coward
Only guts you had was from your stomach fat
I couldn't see your ass goin' to Heaven
So I'm asking for a pass to go to Hell
So I can whip your fucking ass
I hate that I'll never get to say "I hate you" to your face
No coming back from where I'm going
Sky is dark, my soul is black, hand on the shovel
Dig with the blade of it then I step on the metal
Vendetta to settle, tell the Devil
[Chorus: Skylar Grey & Eminem]
I'm leaving Heaven (Yeah)
I'm leaving Heaven (You know, I should dig your motherfucking ass up)
Angels won't find me (Just to spit in your fucking face)
Where I am going (Holding my baby pictures up like you're proud of me)
I'm leaving heaven (Fuck you, bitch)
I'm leaving heaven (You know what? Maybe if I had had you)
Angels won't find me (I wouldn't have went through half the shit I went through, so I blame you)
Where I am going (Or maybe I should say, "Thank you")
('Cause I wouldn't have been me, haha)
[Outro: Skylar Grey & Eminem]
So you better, you better run (Yeah)
You better, you better run (So I'ma let it go now, rest in peace)
You better, you better run (Cocksucker, haha)
You better, you better run (See you in Hell)
Kenny McCormick thank you kind sir
Thanks for the lyrics.... Em's childhood memories are still haunting him back.
No life shaq is the GOAT at reacting Vid!! 🔥🔥🔥
Literally every reactor is missing the "Legacy" "Leg I see"
Wow wtf that was good one em
ScriptWork caught it
What is leg i see?
@@colt-king1111 When Im looking at my leg I see a bunch of dogs trying to dry hump it.
Right ? Lmao
Bro you gotta react to Eminems speech at the 50 Cent Wall Of Fame Ceremony
Was wondering when he's gonna do a reaction on the song FAREWELL on Ems MTBMB album
Yuop
This song always makes me cry, specially bc I can relate to it
That whole verse where he makes the first and last words rhyme so it’s like 4 times in not even a full sentence . “How to get , out of it. “ He can make “how” rhyme with “out” just by his pronunciation then of course “get” and “it”.
The whole verse is the same. Freakin crazy genius.
When em said I'm gonna let this go.I thought he has forgiven him did not expect him to say see u in hell
"Thats part of the reason i do all my talking in ink" that line right there
“Eminem vs Slim Shady” by HipHop Universe
I was just talking to my sister today about the day Eminem leave this earth and I would listen to when I’m gone just to cry even more and get into a deeper emotional burst of tears. Eminem has become a part of life for me and bc of his music I dig deep to push through life in any tough situation. Music is therapy and he composes it well.
This song gives me chill ,tears ,andrenaline rush ,resentment ...And limitless love for marshall..he is the strongest human I've ever seen in my life .. can't ever hate him !! Only can love him more and more ..
This song is just heartbreaking.
I don’t want to think about that day when EM leaves this earth. He is a tremendous part of the reason why I’m doing better in my current life and not dead or in prison! And as for “my father”.... 😡🤬🖕‼️
This song explains why eminem his holding a shovel...that's tuff
As a fan from day one I can hear the underlying pain and resentment in every line. I’ve heard it tons of times and still just cried for the first time when listening to it broken down on this. Like him and you, I understand what it’s like to go through life with an absent father. I’m sure it’s different for a boy to be without his dad, though. Deep shit right here, yo.
I've seen all of your em reaction videos and still love to revisit your videos to feel as excited about the songs as you are.
