  • This video answers the question: What are the signs of a wife with psychopathic traits?
    Psychopathy:
    There are two types of psychopathy: Factor 1 (primary, interpersonal affective) and Factor 2 (lifestyle, antisocial) psychopathy. Factor 1 psychopathy has characteristics like grandiosity, pathological lying, manipulation, a superficial charm, callous, unemotional, low neuroticism and lack of guilt or remorse. Factor 2 psychopathy has a parasitic lifestyle, being prone to boredom, sensation seeking, impulsivity, irresponsibility, a failure to have long term goals, poor behavioral controls, and criminal versatility.

    This is spot on in every way. When I caught my ex in a lie, she asked me 20+ times how I found out. A few weeks later without my knowledge she cuts the cord to one of our iot recording devices. She then asks me to fix it. When I asked what happened to it, she lies about that as well. I fixed it and then she tells me how good I am at fixing those things. If they are talking, they are lying.

    The movie- Single White Female is a classic example! I am a clinical therapist and DSW! I am sure I picked this profession bc of a woman who inserted herself into my life and was highly manipulative! She stole from me, used me as a free babysitter and slept with my fiancé ! Subsequent to such, I woke up and got her out of my life for good! It was a terrifying experience that happened over a 10 yr period! The final straw occurred when she slept with my fiancé and tried to convince me that she sacrificed herself for me, so that I would “ see “ that he was actually evil! I dumped them both and they ended up together making each other’s life a living hell! I am so grateful that I met a good man and got my life back! 😅

She controlled all finances and never had any money. Cheated multiple times, scammed people for money, stealing from us and telling her kids shoplifting is ok because the store's owners have too much money in their hands, preventing him from seeing family or friends and so many more horrible behaviors.

    This perfectly describes my neighbor's wife up to at least #7 (observed, and reported by the husband) and explains the poisoning of my dog and neighbor's cats. She also likes to build fires, which cause the fire department to come and extinguish. She feeds crows and other vermin. Other neighbors report her attempt to befriend them with ulterior motive.

    • @Adara007
      @Adara007 4 года назад +5

      Your dog and neighbours cats were poisoned by this neighbour's wife? Did any of the pets survive? If that woman's lighting fires, too, I'd be talking to local LE although if she's using covert methods like poison I assume you'd need videos - like motion-activated cameras - to capture her psychopathic behaviours so as to prove her involvement.

    • @hollyobaby6949
      @hollyobaby6949 3 года назад +5

      Your neighborhood should install cameras, warn new owners/renters about her especially if they have pets, help each other pay for pet autopsy's, file complaints, & build a paper trail with law enforcement & courts even if she's just accused of something they will keep a record of it nowadays. Be vigilant and have her serve time for animal cruelty & public nuisance. Look up your areas laws/bi-laws/everything. If there's not a law on it keep calling your non emergency lines and writing the mayor & other heads of departments in your local government. If someone poisoned my dog I would honestly go and beat her ass and probably catch charges. People like that are the types you don't want around if you have a family.

    • @katieandnick4113

      If the husband told you about these things his wife supposedly did, I’d be more inclined to believe he is the psychopath. People who are currently married to a psychopath do not talk about their spouse’s bad behavior because they don’t see it themselves. They can’t see it until the psychopath is out of their life. Also, all of the things you’ve mentioned are male typical psychopath behaviors. Female psychopaths use relational aggression and emotional sadism to torture people. By telling you that his wife did these horrible things, he’s exercising his power over her, as now all of the neighbors believe she is the crazy one.

      @@vallisdaemonumofficial Inapproproate laughter is something that usually stems from childhood. You may have used it as a coping mechanism when dealing with traumatic situations. It's like the old wives tale that if you smile when you're upset, then you'll feel happier. Yeah, that's not true. Smiling just suppresses your negative emotions and trains your brain to asociate negative emotions with smiling.
      You most likely don't have Pseudobulbar Affect which is a neurological condition that stems from a traumatic brain injury which causes the sufferer to laugh and cry uncontrollably at inappropriate times. It's rare and very serious.

    A couple of observations: 1. On more than one occasion, I've listened to psychopathic women brag about poisoning the food or beverage of either a co-worker or in one case, her own 'beloved' husband. His crime was "looking at another woman". She claimed that it worked, and that he never did it again (implying that he was scared to, and that she was important enough to him that he thought he better keep her happy). The one who bragged about poisoning the co-worker, just didn't like them for some reason. Both also bragged about a lot of other violent and disturbing (i.e. sexual) experiences. Both were co-workers who bothered me with this enlightening information about their devious character while I was busy -- working.
    The one who bragged about poisoning her own husband told the same story to all her 'friends' and was very proud of what she did. She worked in the business of food service, yet I was apparently the only one who thought that was a very bad idea. Everyone else acted like, "Oh, it's just kooky, funny Cheryl. She's a laugh a minute."
    The other one, Mary, bragged about being descended from Aleister Crowley (g-niece or something) and informed me that she was actually the daughter of her mother and paternal grandfather (i.e. mother's husband's father, who she claimed raped her). And Mary's own husband "committed suicide" (she "barely escaped him taking her down with himself", i.e. he'd planned it as a murder-suicide). She had done a couple of years prison time for biting a police officer's ear off while drug-crazed. She also said she had been an exotic dancer and prostitute. She also told me about her 'marriage of convenience' wherein she lived like a queen for a few years with a man who later died of AIDS.
    Both of these 'poisoners' had seriously poor relationships with their adult children, siblings, and parents. And both had no problem lying whenever it was convenient for them.
    2. I forgot. ;) Anyway, more about these same two cases: Cheryl told me about the time she was strolling past a little downtown 'cowboy' bar (one that happens to be world-famous, the "Mint"), in broad daylight, when some unidentified woman in the bar saw her, ran outside and attacked her from behind. This was in a small town where everybody knew everyone, yet I don't think she ever found out who clobbered her that day.
    And Mary told me about a fairly recent incident wherein Mary (age about 60 at the time) had met some anonymous "man" on a dating site and planned a date with him that involved herself dressing up like a "little school girl". Mary proudly described her entire ensemble in great detail, and then complained to me that after she'd got herself all 'dolled-up' and was really looking forward to meeting him -- the stranger stood her up (i.e. 'ghosted' her) leaving her waiting for over an hour before she finally realized what happened. She apparently thought that I would sympathize, :D
    Another time, Mary claimed she couldn't make it to work because she had a doctor's appointment. Everyone believed the lie, until I said, "Really? Which doctors have offices open on holidays?" :D

      Sounds like BPD. Psychopaths are too Machiavellian to rat themselves out to anyone. In fact, if they suspect someone else is going to rat them out, they’ll do whatever is necessary to shut them up. Sexual promiscuity/deviance to the degree you mention isn’t really a psychopathic female thing, even when they are young. They do tend to be promiscuous, but not deviant in that way.

    At 6:05 onwards there's quite strong static until this video ends. Related to this, could you look into hyperacusis and misophonia? I have hyperacusis and ASMR videos create severe stress and have the exact opposite effect for me than they're designed to. The static on this video makes it difficult to focus on what you were saying.
    Despite hyperacusis and misophonia being relatively common, there's little research being done about the conditions which can be quite crippling for sufferers, adversely impacting upon their relationships and affecting where and how they live and work. Your analysis of hyperacusis and misophonia would be very helpful, especially since your videos reach many people and quite a few would have or be close to someone with one or both disorders.

In college I wrote a paper in regards to the potential side effects/consequences of introducing Cannibalism into a thriving modern day society, looking at how being Forced to resort to cannibalism for one's own survival can impact the person's and society in terms of psychological ramifications. I enjoy hearing your input on mental health topics and admire your thoughts outside of the factual data and research. So I'd feel privileged if one day you'd consider presenting a video about this. Hi Dr. Grande,
    My name is J.D and I wanted to ask 2 questions.
    1. Could Dissociative Identity Disorder, OCPD and or Asperger's w/OCPD look like or be confused for adjustment Disorders or other cluster personality Disorders, especially cluster B personality (eg. ASPD, Psychopathy, Sociopathy, BPD, NPD)? For example; if your OCPD desire for morals was so strong it disregarded the law in favor of Justice. Or CPTSD obession with the abusers and or people who remind you of the abusers cause cluster B like symptoms.
    2. How common is it for providers, who can diagnosis, diagnosis a Disorder code with a similar or different name? For example; Asperger's with an autism spectrum Disorder code, or Complex PTSD with a PTSD code.
    I was diagnosed with congenial Asperger's w/OCPD but the DSM has recently changed, leaving me with a new ASD diagnosis I'm not yet used to. I also have been diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder w/CPTSD.
    Hope all is well. Hope to hear from you soon.

We are perfect, but then i just need the tension to release a pressure that i feel inside. It's more like an instinct. Then we fix the stuff with sex.
    I know it's a toxic behavior.

    I don't really feel sad about it, but i know i don't want to be alone forever, and he's the closest i've been with someone. The fact that i feel like he's my property, and i want to control him, makes me come closer to him in a mental level.
