The mod is so perfect! Now it's kinda like watching Infinite redeeming himself
Leon Duncan More like Infinite is getting revenge on Eggman for abandoning him.
It tells its own story! Infinite (or Zero, if that's what you wanna call him) busts out of Eggman's prison, evaids the inti-breakout measures, escapes the main death egg via a shuttle, and takes control of a separate egg vessel to head back to earth! What a game that would be!

More like Infinite after his defeat, then the Phantom Ruby went crazy and somehow removed all his malice within.
Since the game doesn't explain what happened to Infinite after his defeat, this is my headcanon now.
Infinite's all like, "Lemme playtest this stage, n' make sure sonic can escape safe and sound."

Motivation was trash though. We were expecting so much more of him, both in the regular campaign and Episode Shadow, that I, a Sonic superfan, cannot forgive his writing.
Zero the Jackal: I am not cute.
This should be a special feature you unlock in the game, like say if you beat the game with the highest score and then it says “You’ve unlocked the special secret stage: you can now play through the game as Infinite”, that’d be a pretty sweet feature to unlock
Now this mod gives the song a new meaning where Infinite/Zero feels the need to redeem himself and Eggman keeps bringing him down but he will not back down anymore
I like Infinite better without his mask, to be honest. He's got a cool face. No offense, but that's just my opinion. By the way, nice mod.
I think Infinite WITH the Mask would've fitted Mephiles, while the Infinite WITHOUT the Mask would've been his own character, and not a ripoff... like he's Chaotic Neutral or something.

Man, this video used to be an addition. Love Zero as an anti-hero. So much can be done and imagined with this character.

Also, to give him a more diverse set of effort sounds, you should sample from Yasuo or Nightbringer Yasuo, since Liam voices him too

Man, I just wish I could write this character. I usually like edgy characters, but they're mostly terribly written. I'm neither negative or positive about Shadow, because he just replaced the Sonic rival place. Infinite could be a much better character if he atleast had some respect for his enemies, could be a little more open-minded, have a good backstory, which shows what led him to be a squad leader and what he has seen in the world before he met Eggman.
I absolutely agree, there were so many cool and good things that could be done with this character. From his past, history, personality, to his facet as a Villain. Even after looking at the game manual I realized that they only paid attention to giving it a good design and forgot about the rest. It was an absolute disappointment what happened to the game.

They should bring back Infinite as a ally because Eggman shoved a Ph. Ruby _Prototype_ in his chest.
And not the final. Eggman just left Infinite to die.
But i hope they bring him back to be a ally in the next Sonic game.

Actually, Zero the Jackal was his prototype name. His name wasn't Zero pre-Phantom Ruby, that was supposed to be his name in Forces. They just changed it.
zero was just his code name from when he was first hired to guard the fatasses base... until he was given a better code name that suits him which happens to be the same as his potential

Gaming With Alan Fair enough. I personally liked Forces graphics more because of the warm blending mix (fire skies are beautiful!)

I like that you put Infinite's theme over this footage. Strangely, simply having Infinite doing heroic things makes the music itself sound different. In the original context, it sounds so dark, cruel, and mocking, like someone knocking you over and kicking you repeatedly. But now, it sounds very triumphant.

Most likely due to the game not being able to render that QTE properly due to the change in Sonic's model. This is possibly one of the reasons why you cant play as Shadow in Egg Gate or Luminous Forest due to these QTEs only being programed for Sonic to enter.

honestly they should've made an infinite story as a prequel to shadows..... would love to know who he is/was before that made him so insecure as to accept the ruby from being a renegade
