  • I started activities to regenerate trees that were cut for various reasons.
In this video, we will create a vase from a wooden log using a woodlathe.
    The technique is a woodturning.
As a living proof of this log, I made a work that can express the same spolted pattern.
Make a big mistake on the way. But, fortunately it is not damaged

That is a beautiful piece. I'm totally impressed that you hollowed that out without any hollowing system. That piece of wood is lovely and you did a beautiful job.

Thanks for your comment! I am very happy. Unfortunately there is no hollowing system, so it's a shame that when you turn a log into a work, it becomes very small. I plan to get a large lathe someday so that I can use it without waste. Thanks for watching! ✨

    Beautiful wood turning.
You got very lucky to have not broken the vase on the catch while turning the inside. If you live by reaching far into a turned piece, you will certainly die by it as well. You take a big chance by reaching far into the piece with any tool when you don’t have the tool rest to provide good support.

@@YamabikoWoodArt Sumerians were an ancient, ore-flood time, one of the first we know of that developed writing skills and civilizations before the flood were very advanced, ie: the Pyramid of Giza and they were able to make stones structures of a magnificent nature which included very small items to gigantic items like the walls in Peru, the City of Machu Pichu in the Andes 11,000 ft altitude and so many other ancient civilizations pre-flood. As a Believer in one God the Almighty, it is our belief that after the flood, God removed these abilities from man as the men were so evil from the influence of fallen angels that came to earth and had carnal knowledge with the women and the had children that became giants and those beings were very smart and had technology that we cannot even imagine. See some of the megalithic stone structures of Peru. Strange skulls have been found in those areas and all over the earth that are not human. They were not the product of head binding. Anyway, it is all written in the Bible and in The Book of Enoch which was in the King James Version of 1691 but is no longer included in the Bible but can be found to read on You Tube. I'm very much a student of ancient civilization so that is a short summary. I know that the Japanese have a story of the flood as well and you likely know of the ancient structures off your coastline.

    • @santababy1952
      @santababy1952 4 года назад

@@YamabikoWoodArt The Sumerians were the first civilizations that we know of so far that had the ability to write their language in cuneiform style using a v-shape stick. Scholars have been able to learn it and among the most famous writing is on a stone pillar and is called "The Epic of Gilgamesh". There are many ancient artifact from that pre-flood time period where the abilities of the people were far more advanced than we. As a Christian, I believe in the flood that God sent to destroy the evil of all mankind except for 8 people. I believe the Japanese ancients also have this story. 277 ancient civilization believe in the flood as do scientists. Check out the ancient structures/walls and cities of Peru; the city of Machu Picchu in the Andes. Many sophisticated items have been found all over the world that prove these people had vast knowledge beyond what we even are capable of now. The Bible with the Book of Enoch version King James of the 1600s which is still available explains all of why the men became evil enough for God to destroy the people of that time except for 8 which is the family of Noah. His genetic code had not been destroyed by fallen angels. Its quite a long story but it is well established that these fallen angels gave vast knowledge to the people, ie; The Pyramids of Giza. They have done unthinkable task that we cannot complete with our vast capabilities in technology. As for vases of stone, I know nothing but many artifacts that are unexplained have been found. As you know there are ancient structures off the coast of Japan, indicating an ancient city.

Paint on wood thinner than paper will not break.
