The house looks Great, like the color too. It really pays to have someone who knows what they are doing paint your house. We did that about 8 years ago and its the best paint job our house has ever had.
Nice work and good tips. Removing gutters demonstrates his professional attitude to painting! I was told rolling provides a thicker and longer lasting finish.
Awesome video!!! Thank you. I don't have the funds or tools to paint my home. But I'm trying to see what is affordable and if I can really do this myself. New subscriber for sure!
My house is half concrete and half cement board siding, with the concrete on the lower level and siding on the upper. Would the spray method be best for this? Or would I have to go back and roll so much that it wouldnt be worth it? I live in northern Virginia if the climate matters also. Thanks!
I'm getting ready to do my home exterior, but I'm afraid of using the sprayer because I don't want wind to catch the paint and detail my neighbor's car. I assumed rolling was my only option, but do you think an inexperienced homeowner could manage the overspray?
I'm about to do my entire exterior and I was wondering if you could recommend a sprayer that's good for a homeowner (not industrial) or point me towards a video that reviews them. Great vid! Thanks for teaching us mere mortals,
Who thought a Paint Your House Video would be fascinating, but it was. I've been a follower of yours, Steve, for years. Keep up the good work.

How is the paint not purple?
I thought power washing the house was the first thing you were supposed to do before prepping the house for paint.

My house really needs paint. I'm gonna hire someone to come and take the old paint off with a fancy pice of equipment, an excavator.
