It’s to bad their glove budget was the spent on the ladder trucks and spinning red lights. So I’m guessing that on east cost a white helmet is a firefighter rank? Since on most this videos I see mainly white helmets. One or two red , Maybe one yellow?
Not That Donald I was really surprised that this operation was run sooo haphazard. I’ve known FDNY members for many years and observed operations and have never seen this music disorganization. Sad
That guy on the ladder around the 3 minute mark was Comical. He did a good job busting up the G sign, but didn't put a scratch on the building. I roof hook?? Really?? I would have taken an axe up there, used a leg lock on that ladder and opened up that facade like a man.
I hope that the sign installer has good insurance. Most likely was a problem with the high voltage neon wiring. That stuff loves to go to ground and get hot.
Must have had some smoking hot deals 🔥
the firefighter in a small unbalanced ladder when he has at his disposal a ladder truck, bravo for the intelligence

Do these guys actually have a clue of what they are doing ?
I had numerous questions regarding the operation...🤔🧐
@@rjrestorationstation4402 Me too, believe me.
not one
No. And they never change.

These guys are doing more damage than the fire was.
Great video footage Mike!
Crazy to think that just a few days later there would be an active shooter in the mall right next to this place.

That wasn't a neon sign
I think this is in old video....unless I have dejavu! I do believe this video is about 3 or 4 years old.
I think it's not firefighters but campers who wanted to watch the fire with marshmallows
Nice Video Mike!
Ex FDNY tower ladder still serving.
