    As so many people are asking about the pen being used, I use these to study:
    www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01HA6CRVQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
    They aren't exactly the same, but are good quality felts that are double ended. If you like to keep organised and have different things written in different colours in your study book, these are great. You can use the brush end for proper stroke order use, and use the pen end for general text or reminders to yourself, etc.
    Also for those looking for a full sheet of Hiragana and Katakana to keep writing out for practice, there is a little exercise book here:
    www.blurb.co.uk/b/7305445-learning-japanese-kana-practice-workbook
    P.S.

    Me recuerda mis clases de japonés, durante horas y horas practiqué hiragana, por meses y meses, no se cuántas veces escribí el silabario hasta memorizarlo. Ha sido lo mas dificil que he aprendido, pero también lo mas satisfactorio. EL problema es que hay que dedicarle muchísimo tiempo, y pot mi trabajo no puedo seguir estudiando japonés. Sin embargo, no descarto la posibilidad de retomar las clases. Una vez superado el hiragana, sigue katakana y lo mas dificil de todo: los temidos KANJIS.

    Hiii, I’m new to Japanese and I I’m really struggling with hiragana and katakana (and I haven’t even gotten to the kanji part yet...) This video was very helpful and it was great to hear the pronunciation. I have a few questions though... How should the ”R” sound be pronounced? Like an “L” or a “D”? And how can you tell the difference between お and を as well as じ and ぢ??

    • @fandomqueen9120
      @fandomqueen9120 5 лет назад +1

      Heyo! The “R” should be pronounced more like a “D”, but not quite if that makes sense?
      The difference between お and を is を is only pronounced “O” when used as a particle. Otherwise, it is pronounced “Wo”. お shouldn’t be used as a particle and is always pronounced “O”.
      じ and ぢ are the same, but じ is used more if I remember correctly.
      Hope this helps! :3

      I learned that recently, as well :P the example I was given is that, just how writing letters by hand look one way and typing them out on a keyboard look another, syllabaries in Japanese are the same. I still catch myself trying to write き with the little hook at the bottom sometimes, though ._.

    I write my ki's and sa's with the 2nd and 3rd strokes connected... And fu's with connected 1st and 2nd strokes
    Edit: guess i should stop doing that

    • @rubikonium9484
      @rubikonium9484 4 года назад

      @steve gale i guess ill keep the gap small... I guess i gotta move away from computer writing (also why my fu's r three strokes)

    • @rubikonium9484
      @rubikonium9484 4 года назад

      Also is it bad to have MORE strokes than what is needed?
      E.g. having an お with 3 strokes (even though its supposed to have 2)

    • @rubikonium9484

      @steve gale i meant with 4 strokes (even though it is supposed to be 3) my bad, forgot the last "short" stroke

    Was I supposed to understand what she was writing and saying? Help me out here because I'm pretty stupid you know. What about this video am I missing?

    • @o08O80o

      Bruce Snider no, she was just typing the “alphabet”, while saying the “letters” out loud... which I suppose you should understand if you speak Japanese...

    I'm so confused... you pronounced ra ri ru re ro... la li lu le lo... aligato? People say arigato... I'm so fucking confused, is it pronounced like that or am I hearing it wrong?

    • @suro900
      @suro900 7 лет назад

      It is RI RU RE RO but they may sound like L ,L Is not right they are saying R but it sounds like L "Arigatou" Is correct at the end you should say U ,It's nothing too difficult ,I can recommend TAE KIM's book it is easy to understand

      @EndOfYoRHa 7 лет назад

      There is no letter L in the characters so it is replaced with the R characters.
