I'm from Peru 🇵🇪 and recently reverted to Islam. Now, I'm learning Arabic in order to understand my prayers and the holy message. May Allah make my path easier.
I'm a native English speaker who learned Arabic in my late teens and early 20s. It was challenging, but the language is so precise and consistent with its rules that it reminded me of mathematics. I wonder if that's why so many great mathematicians have come from the Arabic-speaking world.
I'm German and have been learning Arabic for only 10 months and I really love the Arabic grammar. It's the most logical grammar I have ever learned. I find it way more difficult to understand the language when spoken with a "normal speed". This is why for the first time I think the immersion does it all-way does not work with Arabic.
Really interesting question! It is for me is more difficult to write in Chinese ,than in Arabic, but speaking Chinese is for me not so difficult.Arabic is a musical languge and hypnotic in some way!Hear only to the Quran and you feel it!Respect for the teacher!Thank you for your lesson!
I recently converted to Islam and have been learning the Arabic language. It seemed hard at first, but after 3 months I have gotten the hang of it and it makes sense how the language and grammar is set up. Still got long way to go. Alhamdulillah
I am a native Arab also, I can speak 5 languages and still didn't master Arabic , but out of experience I believe that Arabic is the most expressive language in the world. once you know that "lion" in Arabic has more than 300 names each of which describes the lion in a different status !
@@user-sb1vz9pv5y this makes the language more beautiful like imagine u want to make a song and you want to put words in one rhythm but you want to put an exact word but its not on the rhythm so you have many many other words that has the same meaning and u can pick the word that is on the rhythm u need this is just a very very very simple example about how beatiful this language is i hope i was useful for u to understand bro :D
As a people who not an Arabian or a Chinese, I feel both language are pretty difficult. But *for me* Arab language is the most beautiful language, even if compared to my native language.
I am studying Arabic for years now as a German speaker. I found the grammar extremely logic and easy to understand. Also all the irregular verbs are actually regular and not random at all. The only problem I have is the large amount of vocabulary!
It can be difficult, indeed. Try to know the generic words first before delving into the more nuanced ones. The thing is that now you have facets and nuances of language and cultural awareness than most people who only know one language, which is true wealth. Good for you 👍
As an Arab, German was really easy to learn even easier then English. Pronunciation and writing is quit clear. Viel Erfolg wünsche ich dir noch bei deiner Lernreise 👌
As a Turkish, it is so easy to learn Arabic for me. And also i am Muslim so i know the alphabet and how to say the letters. Actually in Türkiye, you can learn Arabic in school but not all the schools.
I'm an Arab and speak English, so I feel like I already know 50% of Turkish vocabulary 😁 All jokes aside, I love the Turkish language and intend to continue learning it inshallah
As an Arabic native speaker I can confirm that Arabic has one of the most complex grammar, it’s also hard to us as native speakers to master, but it’s really beautiful language.
Learning the Arabic language is not difficult, the difficult thing is getting deeper in it...Arabic Grammar is actually made for non-Arab people to help them learn Arabic, Also for Arabs who have a weakness in Standard Arabic. We Arabs learn the rules of the Arabic language in school to learn the literary aspect of our language..we learn why we use this word and not use this word. We are used to speaking the Arabic language naturally without thinking about how it works, Like a child learning walk on their feet without knowing the laws of gravity and balance. .. When you start thinking about how grammar works in the Arabic language, you will get a headache at first.
Conversely Mandarin's grammar is simpler and way more easier hahaha, we do have different tones/accents which leads to confusion but we don't actually have that much grammar to learn
I'm doing master in Arabic language and I can tell you that the difficulty of the Arabic language is not in pronunciation or writing, but much deeper than that. It is a language full of details and meanings, and no one can master it 100 percent, even scholars of the Arabic language. There is always something that has not been discovered.
That goes for every single language out there as language encompasses culture and culture encompasses humanity in unique colorful layers historically, so no doubt you never really master a language.
@@Wra8h yeah actual scholars in Arabic like Dr Marjin van Putten calls it like any other language like Russian is far more difficult to learn especially if u don't know any Slavic languages
I am American and I mastered the Arabic language as a teenager. Arabic is very complex, but once you understand the pattern, it's very easy. The issue isn't that it's difficult, but rather the sheer amount of rules in grammar you have to go through.
There is no mastering , the humans brain can't handle all the Arabic rules and words, to speak with Arabs easily you only need to learn 2-3% of Arabic , the best example to test your abilities is going through poetry and the Quran and being able to tell the right rule used, the reason why Arabic can't be mastered is the endless possibilities of words , thay someday you will realize that you cant spot the right grammatical rules bcz you don't understand the meaning of a certain word. Just did you know that " أذاذ" means dates? Arabic isn't a thing you master , but you take some of it depending on how you gonna use it
@@sangriaflowers I've been obsessed with Arabic ever since I was a child. A huge inspiration came from travelling and not wanting to be oblivious to what was being said around me. Well praise to you for learning such a complex language! Your English does need some improvement in terms of grammar but don't worry; with time you will get a natural feel for grammar, I got fluent in English at 11, all because I spent time and effort since i was little, i guess same thing for you in terms of arabic?
Now to correct you (i am trash at grammar in terms of WHY, i just know what is correct) It should be "yet i have mastered Arabic 2 weeks ago" as you aren't MASTERING the language, you already have mastered it, you need to put a little into punctuation but overall you are pretty good
I'm from Iran. We have Arabic lesson in our school after 6th grade. And we have to learn the Grammer. And schools does't care about Speaking that much. Persian and Arabic are close but not the same. I mean, most students in Iran hate learning Arabic in school. But personally, I love Arabic!
Arabic is a complex language with lots of rules. I’m multilingual and speak 4 languages. Arabic is by far the most difficult to master and it’s my mother tongue. If you achieve a higher level of understanding of the language you’ll unlock its true beauty once you are able to decipher ancient Arabic poetry. Arabic poetry transcends anything I have come across in western societies.
@@postahundredcommentsbutonl4408 I agree with your opinion, this idiot is so shallow to say that, when Lao Tzu and Confucius were still contemplating the philosophy of life, the Arabs were still just backward and underdeveloped tribes. @@NeutralDice You fool. Its the richest language in words and has the most complex and logical grammar. It also enabled scientific discoveries and mathematical advancements like Algorithms and Algebra which were brought to your feeble mind by Muslims from the past.
I've studied both and although Arabic is complicated, Chinese is much harder. Arabic is definitely ''learnable'' as a language and most Arabic speakers are surprisingly helpful towards learners whereas I know people that have tried hard to learn Chinese and not made any progress. What I find hard about Arabic is that if you attend formal classes they normally teach you فصحى with the view to reading the Qur'an, but this has a load of additional complicated grammar which isn't actually used when people speak in the ''real world'' outside of educational environments or debates. Don't give up if you are learning Arabic as it's a beautiful, logical language.
I am an Arabic native speaker and I really didn't notice until now how complicated it is but I think you can explain it very well since you can notice all the details and difficulties a non Arabic speaker can face in learning it ! I highly encourage you to teach it in your channel and I am sure that many Arabic learners will be grateful for that ❤

The biggest mistake I saw foreigners make when learning Arabic is picking a dialect first and "going with it". Dialects (mostly) don't adhere to grammar and are in fact a simplifcation of the language so common people can communicate not so "formally", since Standard Arabic is basically poetry in motion. The problem with this approach is that you build a basis in a grammar-less dialect, and once you get serious about reading or watching news (which is always Standards), your brain is damaged and can not receive the logical complex grammar of Standard. I truly advise everyone to learn Standard first (even if we make fun of you) especially to understand the root system as it will make your life SO MUCH easier, then pick any dialect you want, but build in Standard as all Arabs are taught this in school as well.
i am egyptian man and i completely agree with you. evry arabs can understand and communicate in Arabic after that if you want to get a dialect i prefer the Egyptian dialect for evryone. because All arabs can understand and speak it easily because of the Egyptian arts, movies, drama.
@Jack Yes. Anything from that period is golden. Quran, books about the prophet and the sahaba. Nahej Albalagha by Ali bin Abi Taleb نهج البلاغة and the suspended odes from pagan poetry such as Imru' Alqais.. etc are also excellent upper echelon level of Arabic.
@@jowansuleiman7409 The closest analogy I could make that you immigrate to alabama and try to speak to everyone in Shakespearian English. The issue is that alabamaian is really only an accent and maybe some collequal terms, so you'll get by, however between the local arabic dialect and the actual language, stands a deep chasm. If an Arab tried to have a converstion with me in Standard I would be like "what's up with this nerd? this isn't school", but for you as a foreigner, it is imperative you learn Standard first. You must resist the urge to "go with the flow" with your Egyptian friend and speak like him/her, always insist you speak in Standard, they will respect your decision. The only people who I saw succeed in learning Arabic to almost native level are the one who stuck with Standard as long as they could, then they picked up the dialects fairly easily, with an added bonus that they could actually read books or watch the news (Something dialect learners from exchange groups can't really do even after years of learning the language).
I'm a native English speaker and I have been studying Chinese for a few months and Arabic for a few weeks. Chinese is much easier for me than Arabic. The most difficult part of Chinese for me are the tones, recognizing the different tones while listening, and remembering the correct tone for the characters. But wrapping my head around the Arabic grammar feels really really hard

You learn modern English language so why do you compare to the Arabic language's grammars (before 1600 years)? Did you learn Thou, thee, instead of you, they? Did you learn alphabet before 400 years? It contains 40 letters. Did you learn old, middle English? We have many names for lion, but we use one name in our conversation (Assad). We don't use "Hezaber" (هزبر)، "Dergham" (ضرغام), "Rahees" (رهيص)، "Kaswarah" (قسوره),... Etc We don't use the grammars, and when someone talks in Arabic formal language, we laugh at him.

I'm from east Europe. I like Chinese and Arabic cultures from early childhood, and some years ago I had tried to learn Arabic, but Arabic gramma is so hard that I gave up. Now I'm learning Chinese and this language is easier for me. From my subjective viewpoint Chinese gramma is even easier than English gramma in most cases.
Lol, I also attended an Arabic language school which was easy for me and understood but completely forgotten now haha . . . I live in Asia, Located in the southern part of Thailand, the official name of the area is called Patani.
As a Chinese i am totally agree with u. But also in my opinion ancient Chinese that is really harder to learn than modern Chinese. So modern Chinese actually like a jigsaw puzzle and you just need order to put the two or three words together and you almost finished a easy sentences.
Mandarin grammar is fairly straight forward. I think with Chinese languages, the hardest parts are the tones and the writing. If you come from a language like English where there are no tones, it will take a bit to learn to listen for and differentiate them. The writing system is really just a memory game and takes time. Chinese has a lot of idioms, but you'll recognize them when you hear them and just have to remember what that phrase means.

Nice video! Both are fascinating and rewarding when mastered. Started Arabic on Duolingo three weeks ago, having fun so far, learned may words, most of the letters, and went to check on youtube how to distinguish between the ت and ط how to pronounce them correctly. Have tried Chinese for a couple of weeks 7 years ago, before went travelling to China. I liked the pin'in method of reading, and the tonal thing is very unique and fun to learn.
as a native arabic speaker I will compliment you on pronouncing ه and ح correctly. Btw I lived in China and learnt beginner chinese in class. For me the most difficult part of learning chinese mandarin is the intonations in chinese. Although I liked how chinese people in China were patient and helpful and willing to help. I think the حركات in arabic is similar to the intonations in chinese. I enjoy learning chinese even though its very difficult. I think chinese is a logical language too because i think characters look like the real thing.
I get suprised when they class an easy and straitforward language like arabic with a complicated non traitforward and has no alphabet language like chinese together, I mean come on, arabic is so easy and so straitforward, you have to memorise 28 letters and there is no weird vocals like u or e, we have only strait a o i, in the other hand chinese has more than 10000 depectations it is either you know the writting or you don't, and you don't know where to stop a word and where to start the second word, because a word can be composed of one two three or four letters and on top of that you cannot use dictionary (it is too complicated) it is either you know the meaning of the writting or you don't, also you don't differentiate the verb from the name, and the most difficult is the tone, you cant speak chinese it is a challege, and when you think you are speaking it fluently very few chinese people will understand, in the other hand arabic is extrimly easy, the only dificulty is the vowels whichs arabic they delete, here is an example : انا احبك يا من تقراء تعليقي أَنَا أُحِبُّكُ يَا مِنْ تَقْرَأُ تَعْلِيقِي
@@akoakoferfouri594 i agree that chinese is very hard. The sounds of words is hard for me, I think its easier for chinese and japanese people to learn. I noticed there are some similar words in korean. 你阿拉伯语说得很好 ! Pinyin is probably the main reason I managed to learn chinese otherwise I dont know how I can learn it, but I do understand the logic in the language too its nice.

Learning Arabic is like looking for a treasure, it comes layer by layer, it is not difficult at all, it is sophisticated. You can stick to one dialect and learn quickly, then add on more later on. After you learned, you know most of the words of the Arabic or at least guess it as Arabic is based on root system and templates. It means if you know one word of a group of words of the same root, you can easily guess the meaning of rest. In regards of the templates, each template has its meaning, so when you know the meaning of the template you can guess meaning of most of the words of that template. It is like a multiplication table. Root times template. That is why Arabic language is the richest language on earth, you do not need to borrow words from other languages or invent new words that is new to everyone. You just need to grab a root put it in a template and make a word, even for the first time most people at least can guess the meaning of that word. By the way I am not Arab but studies Arabic by myself.

I like your content, it always motivates me to keep learning even at a slow pace. when I was a kid I spoke Italian first but after the age of five I forgot it since I moved to Tunisia where I learned speaking Tunisian Arabic and at school I started learning Fusha الفصحى, from watching egyptian, lebanese and syrian shows I started understanding other arabic dialects. Starting from the 3rd grade of primary school we learned French which then became the studying language of scientific subjects in high school and university, in high school we started learning English for 4 years, I wasn't good at listening but afterwards my English improved fom watching movies and TV shows and especially from reading, with exposing myself to the language it became easier to understand and watch videos without looking for subtitles. In the last 2 years of high school I studied Geman as an optional subject and later on learned it in Germany, it's easier to learn a language in its country. Now I'm learning Japanese, totally different from arabic and Latin languages wich is quite challenging especially with the writing system, well Hiragana and Katakana are easy to memorise with practice, but Kanji is a whole different story and that's making me struggle in learning it. Once I find a stepping ground for my Japanese I consider learning Korean or Thai. Italian is on my list as well as Spanish which won't be too difficult to learn. However Arabic remains my favorite language!
If you’ve learned Japanese and would like to learn Korean then I must say you’ve made the right choice since the two languages are very similar especially in terms of grammar. However it won’t help you with Thai, since Thai is completely unrelated to Japanese and has a different word order, different grammar, and uses a different writing system. And plus just like Mandarin Thai is also a tonal language, however the tones in Thai are even more complicated than the ones in Mandarin.
@@2024-l9n There're more tones in Thai than in Mandarin and also the distinction between each tone is more subtle than in Mandarin, which makes it more difficult to learn at least for a Mandarin speaker like me.
@@weifan9533 thank you for leaving a comment. Exactly I considerated Korean because it has similarities to japanese and the writing system is not as complicated as the japanese's. However my choice of Thai is out of curiosity, it is gonna be quite the challenge 😅
One easy feature I'll add about Arabic is the triliteral root system, which is commonly found in semitic languages. Words can be traced to three-consanant root words, so when you read a word you don't know, you can often guess the meaning if you know the root. You might know kataba is "he wrote" and then see kitab (book) or maktabah (library) in a sentence and partially recognize the meaning.
BMA I don't think arabic is difficult (Atleast for me)! Under right environment it can easily be learned (I.A)!! Moreover its one of the most beautiful language i have ever come across!!! (M.A)
As a levant dialect speaker from Lebanon who currently works in China, I am so impressed with your levant accent. I have met Chinese diplomats in Lebanon who speak Arabic fluently and honestly, it’s just so impressive and incredibly amusing. I couldn’t stop smiling when you spoke levant Arabic. A chinese speaking Arabic is similarly shocking as a white american speaking Chinese. دَخيليك ما تحكِ هيك إدامي أو بنغِرم فيكِ. هاهاها So impressive. Please make my day and do a video on levant dialect.
@@amberlight5830 really good question I guess it depends, but in general a lot of arabs prefer the egyptian accent since they’re more familiar with it bcs of the movies and cinema and media in general Personnally I prefer the syrian accent ( Damascus one to be precise 😂) and the saudi accent ❤️
As far as I know, Arabs in general seem to prefer the levant accent (Lebanese specifically as per my experience). It’s a somewhat lighter accent. Not as melodic as Egyptian but as per the comments I got, Lebanese accent is “sexier” and lighter on the ears to other Arabs. We have less throaty sounds and we use very expressive ways to share feelings of love and compliments. This is the feedback I’ve gotten especially from other arabs.

❤Please note that Arabic is a miraculous language unlike any other language. I mean standard Arabic not the colloquial dialects . A normal illiterate Arab can understand well the Quran and the Hadith well inspite of the fact that they are dated back 15 centuries ago, while for example highly educated people of you can't understand English 7 centuries ago.and so do all the other nations regarding their respective languages. Standard Arabic is not only represented in the religious books but also in newspapers , many tv shows, all tv news, historical tv drama , documental channels and even children cartoons. and of course in the educational system. many Arabs communicate in comments in standard Arabic as not every Arab is supposed to know the colloquial dialect of the other. From the other hand Shakespearean English for example is not used in educational system, not used in cartoons , not used in tv shows and tv news , not used in newspapers. It's only used to study old literature and theater. All the languages that were contemporary to Arabic are now dead. Aramaic, Assyrian, Coptic , Greek, latin.etc. We are lucky to have a library of 15 centuries books , that an Arab can read directly in their original texts, while other nations have a library of books that can't go past 5 centuries ago, otherwise they would need a translation to nowadays language to understand. So Arabic is the oldest live language now on earth. Can you guess why? Why Arabic in particular? Whereas ANY OTHER LANGUAGE, their people usually can't keep it for more than 5 centuries ,and it alters gradually and a new language is born and so on. I hope you get my point of view and I would welcome your criticizing opinions if any. Thanks alot
I'm a native Arabic speaker and fluent Chinese speaker ( besides German and English :D ) and i highly agree with your take on this subject. Specially in the intro, the point that the difficulty level is relative to the person learning that certain language and their mother tongue.

Hi guys im Egyptian and also from UAE so i undertstand and speak arabic but i was born in Los Angles i love allah that he gave me this life my mom from dubai (UAE) and my dad Egyptian.
As someone who has been studying Fusha Arabic for many years, and is now on a C level, I can confirm that Arabic is not the most difficult in writing, reading nor vocabulary, you just have to get used to it. Grammar, on the other hand, is otherworldly haha. Just look at the numbers. You have a name for a number, but depending whether the word you're counting is female or male, dual or plural, a number from 3 to 10 or 11 to 100..., it all changes the way you use the number AND the counted word. As of verbs; they mostly consist of 3 basic letters, but there are also words consisting of 4, and most verbs are nor regular. Beside the regular verbs, there are more then 10 possible irregular verb forms (beginning/middle/end letter is ء, beginning/middle/end letter is ي, beginning/middle/end letter is و, a combination of و and ي in a verb, ا as middle letter,...and they are ALL conjugated differently). And then you haven't started speaking yet about tenses and of course as you said; there are a lot of pronouns which have influence on the verbs. Then we also have the cases (a nominatif/accusatif/genetif case). Oh, and don't forget that some words are triptotes, some diptotes, and you also have group names whose plural will change according to the meaning you want to convey (سنبلات is a certain amount of grains which you should be able to count, whereas سنابل means a LOT of grains so you're not even able anymore of counting them, while سنبل refers to a bunch which you do not intend to count, you just want to speak about grain). To be short; forming even a basic sentence is already a headbreaker. Arabic is a steep pile of grammatical difficulties right from the beginning, but once you got that right, you fly through the rest. 😂 As Umar ibn al-Khattab said: تعلموا العربية، فإنها تثبت العقل، وتزيد في المروءة "Learn Arabic, because it strengthens the intelligence, and increases one's noble conduct." Learning Fusha Arabic causes one to reflect before speaking, to be patient, to be steadfast, to have attention for details in language and thus to gain tact and subtleness in speaking and acting. And I see this only when learning Fusha Arabic. The dialects are all very simplified forms of Fusha and do not have the same intellectual and behavioural influence. Even though they're beautiful as well (I can also speak Moroccon Arabic but only on a B level).
What you have mentioned is pretty impressive for a non native speaker, kudos to you my friend, but to me as a native speaker the hardest thing I find is الاعراب .
The most hard point is arabic is al i3rab اعراب which is very important if you want to be more natural and influence when you talk Arabic is about alharkat (vowel sounds) and the most important vowel in every single world is the final one you have to know that this word is an object to use the vowel A in the ending you have to know that it is a subject so you use the vowel O at the ending you have to know that it is a past verb so you use A sound so al i3rab إعراب it's about the role of every single world in the sentences to get a correct pronunciation also there are a lot of words have the same spelling but they are different in meaning and it depends to the context and its role in the sentences and this is why understanding quoran is very hard
Thank you so much, Zoe! Blooming as always🥺🫶🏻 Your passion for languages has been truly inspiring to me. As someone who's interested in learning Chinese and Arabic, this video is really helpful. Before I visited China, I was never interested in learning Chinese. But soon after, while being in China, I managed to pick up some words and I also got used to the sound of the language. After that, I have decided to study Chinese and I enrolled to a Chinese course at the Confucius Institute. It's actually not that hard of a language to learn. The grammar is very simple which makes it very easy to learn, in my opinion. I have studied several other languages before so I am used to the whole language learning process. I invite others not to be afraid and to try and learn Chinese.
What makes a language hard is that it has a lot of rules to remember. I don't think Chinese fit into that category. It's hard for foreigner mainly because it doesn't have a pronunciation system to follow(before invention of pinyin) and the writing system is different.
I am Chinese native speaker(both Cantonese and Mandarin), learning Arabic for 4 years. I cannot compare them to be honest because I have mastered Chinese since I was a kid. But Arabic is definitely difficult. But I love the beauty in it .
@@Maximilianus721 cantonese is more like a dialect of the Hong Kong, Guang Zhou region (but a lot of people use Canto as daily use so it developed to be seen as an independent languege). As an Arabian myself, i can say this is a really nice video that covered many aspects about Arabic language. I think why our language might be very deep or hard is because of how popular poetry was (and still is) among our ancestors, like everyone wasn't just speaking to speak they always had a purpose and they enjoyed using words with hidden meanings so they became really creative with it so one word/expression hold several meanings to it. And as someone who really enjoyed the grammer of our language, i think it really makes sense and has a pattern to it not just random rules so don't be intimated and take it easy😂
@@yazziyazzi you can say u are Arabian too, it just mean you belong to the arabian peninsula, Like saying Arabian horse, Arabian camel, it just mean you belong there or ur tribe is originally there
In Arabic's grammar we all struggle learning it (as an Arab) and we usually dont use it in true life it is just for clarification. The dialect changes depending on the location for example: " not all the Egyptians speak the same dialect, the dialect changes whether they live beside the mountains or the beach or the city or the dessert" that goes along with all the Arab regions.✨ But no matter were a person lives we still can understand their dialect.
Since many natives do not master it as well I guess in Arabic culture you can easily tell who is the smart person by the way they speak? The smarter the less grammatically mistakes?
@@rbaet3465 No, we do not use the classical language except in school, but in our ordinary lives, each country has its own dialect, and each country has different dialects depending on who lives in the north, south, and center.
@@rbaet3465 it s not about being smart because there are a lot of dialects in our Arab culture and from person to person it is just different for example an Arabic teacher would speak Arabic fussah most of the time it is not only for Arabic teachers tho, for example a poem writer will mostly speak with lots of poetry lines while a book writer will have a larger dictionary knowledge unlike a bedouin person would speak in so complicated dialect....... in the end, it's not about being smart.
I'm a native Arabic speaker, and the difficulty in Arabic is figuring out the systems that govern grammar and vocabulary. Once you clear a specific leap, you will find it super intuitive to comprehend Arabic. It takes effort, but because it's systematic it never lets you down and will help you so much in figuring out completely new sentences and words as you go along.

I really hope it goes well for you. Arabic is indeed difficult, even for us Arabs, but it's not impossible to learn. I'd be pleased to help at anytime if needed.
The number one tip I would give to any Arabic learner is to set up a series of small achievable goals from the start. It can be as simple as learning the alphabet and its sounds, learning a few basic sentences or practice writing and خط for a month. Your plan (the combined set of goals) should ideally cover all of the four linguistic skills and help you reach a higher level in your learning.
I am an Arab, and Arabic in its form is not difficult, but the multiplicity of countries and the multiplicity of words, dialects, and grammar have led to its difficulty. ❤

I think what makes Arabic so special is that more than 50% of the words and grammar and eloquency comes from the Quran, some words even didnt existed before the revelation
For me, the grammer in the Arabic language was always fun.💜🥺 When you study it with love you will understand the secret meanings of what you're saying. For example: in the English language there are lots of tenses, the meanings of them are different. Saying: "you're nice & you're being nice" isn't the same thing. The Secret Meaning is different. In Italian you don't need to use pronouns, can say the verb directly.. Amo, (Ami, Ame, Amano ,Amate Amano) il gilato. When you can say a powerful meaning in a few words, that a powerful language.💜 And the Arabic language can use the same words to give you different meanings, depending on the position of the word, and grammer. Example: in Italian you can say: gentile ragazzo or ragazzo gentile, but the meaning is not the same. Ragazzo gentile is more strong! Also Italian differenciate between male and female in every word, albero and acqua for example. The Arabic language has this one too. The Arabic language is fun, powerful and surely the most Expressive language in the world, Not Hard. Don't listen to anyone says I'm native but it's hard for me, or I'm learning but It's so hard. I'm sure they are just learning in a wrong way, the Arabic grammer does make sense, if you think, you will understand.💜👍 And for phonetics and reading and writing they're so easy like Italian, English is so hard compared to them. Have fun learning Arabic, because this language has lots of things to give you💜.
They talk about Arabic grammars (1600 years), and compare it to the modern language. Ask anyone, English native language, do you know the alphabet before 400 years? It is completely different and contains 40 letters. Are Americans know the old or middle English? Before 200 years they use "Thou are" instead of "you are". They have a gender verbs. Why they say Arabic has many grammars rules and in modern Arabic language we don't use these rules! If a man from Mexico wants to learn Arabic he can use "Assad" (lion) , and all people understand what he says. In Arabic we have many words for lions but we don't use these words.
@@KosayHatem Of course every language changes by the time. If someone wants to communicate, will need just a few words, but if someone wants to write, will need more. If wants to study arabic poems, that will be another case, both from 100 years ago or 1000 years ago. The more old it is, the more strong it is, and of course the more hard the person should study. And every language will be the same here. The thing is that the Arabic language has a purpose behind every thing, so it's not impossible to be leared.
@@RanAi. 100% right but when they say Arabic is the hardest language to learn because it has many grammars and words. Why do they assume non-Arabs must learn these grammar and words? In my opinion, Arabic is hard to learn because of its letters (ق - ح- ض) but I met two Europeans learned Arabic Egyptian dialect and Arabic Syrian dialect, and they said learning Arabic is hard but not as they read in the internet (not all Syrian dialects are easy).

I don't know about flawless. Fusha is used so loosely, at some points even wrong, but I think there are a couple subbed anime that were particularly good in grammar and pronunciation. Still, it does reflect the general and modern use of Fus'ha if you're okay with a few essential grammar points ignored (like end of word tashkeel for فاعل and مفعول به, which is rarely or very loosely used nowadays)

One reason of many that Holy Quran comes in Arabic language is Arabic’s Grammars As speaker in 4 languages and as a native Arabic speaking, I suffered so much in my early years (as all my childhood friends) with learning it but I think the reason for that is in education systems and teachers as well after that I felt in love with it as soon as I got into the unique Arabic poetry and layout of Arabic letters and after learning more languages I became more understanding with Arabic grammar, I found it very unique, logical and helpful

Writing hanzi is kind of relaxing, you put your full attention into doing it right, tones are a challenge but once you dominate the sound of each tone then is not longer that difficult. Vocabulary is made most of the time of composed concepts so you add hanzi as pieces of lego. Grammar make sense to me.
Mandarin is the most difficult language to learn and write. But I think it is the easiest language to read, if you reach to a high level. I can read a page of story book in Mandarin in 10 seconds. If it is a testbook, it would take longer because it takes more time to think about the reason and memorize it. 有个成语叫做一目十行。

We are used to speaking the Arabic language naturally without thinking about how it works, Like a child learning walk on their feet without knowing the laws of gravity and balance. ..

If read book called Arabic dialects you can't say that .....
Thanks for the advice, why would people make fun of me for learning MSA first ?

Mandarin grammar is fairly straight forward. I think with Chinese languages, the hardest parts are the tones and the writing. If you come from a language like English where there are no tones, it will take a bit to learn to listen for and differentiate them. The writing system is really just a memory game and takes time. Chinese has a lot of idioms, but you'll recognize them when you hear them and just have to remember what that phrase means.

as a native arabic speaker I will compliment you on pronouncing ه and ح correctly.

Thank you for sharing!

Same in Turkish, but much easier for me cause they use suffixes to change the meaning. Book - kitap, bookcase - kitaplık, book store - kitapçı.

I hope you get my point of view
and I would welcome your criticizing opinions if any. Thanks alot

As Umar ibn al-Khattab said:
تعلموا العربية، فإنها تثبت العقل، وتزيد في المروءة
"Learn Arabic, because it strengthens the intelligence, and increases one's noble conduct."
Learning Fusha Arabic causes one to reflect before speaking, to be patient, to be steadfast, to have attention for details in language and thus to gain tact and subtleness in speaking and acting.
And I see this only when learning Fusha Arabic. The dialects are all very simplified forms of Fusha and do not have the same intellectual and behavioural influence. Even though they're beautiful as well (I can also speak Moroccon Arabic but only on a B level).
Kudos to you. You made me double check my language's rules and I'm a native.
What you have mentioned is pretty impressive for a non native speaker, kudos to you my friend, but to me as a native speaker the hardest thing I find is الاعراب .
don’t worry even Arabic native speakers we find the number part kinda confusing
The most hard point is arabic is al i3rab اعراب which is very important if you want to be more natural and influence when you talk Arabic is about alharkat (vowel sounds) and the most important vowel in every single world is the final one you have to know that this word is an object to use the vowel A in the ending you have to know that it is a subject so you use the vowel O at the ending you have to know that it is a past verb so you use A sound so al i3rab إعراب it's about the role of every single world in the sentences to get a correct pronunciation also there are a lot of words have the same spelling but they are different in meaning and it depends to the context and its role in the sentences and this is why understanding quoran is very hard
as an arab the arabic is the most difficult language you find it easy because they learned you just the basic arabic

Yes, for Chinese learners, the gramma is the last thing to be worried about
What makes a language hard is that it has a lot of rules to remember. I don't think Chinese fit into that category. It's hard for foreigner mainly because it doesn't have a pronunciation system to follow(before invention of pinyin) and the writing system is different.

The number one tip I would give to any Arabic learner is to set up a series of small achievable goals from the start. It can be as simple as learning the alphabet and its sounds, learning a few basic sentences or practice writing and خط for a month. Your plan (the combined set of goals) should ideally cover all of the four linguistic skills and help you reach a higher level in your learning.

I can speak broken Arabic and hardly read it. I haven’t really studied it since I was a kid, and I haven’t practiced it on a day to day basis in a while (like 7 years).
إن شاء الله بتكون سهل عليك.

Wow !.. arigato ,I'm glad for your encouragement, and knowing that you're interested in Japanese .. Do your best to learn it , I know it's pretty hard, but you have to keep practicing and don't stop for long periods..
I have a question, if you'll excuse me..
Is Jojo-san an Arabian ?!
@@bakakun767 Oh no my message never sent! :(
I had originally wrote, I completely forgot that the name "Jojo" was my user name. On this youtube account I made randomly a while ago haha
But yes I am Arab! I'm from Palestine.

As a person who speaks Urdu, Arabic is a piece of cake for me to learn. I just need to learn the meaning. I know many words and I can write and pronounce it easily as I also read Quran and live in Saudi Arabia.
مرحبا ، أنا اتعلم اللغه العبريه لاكن صعب جدا. أنا تركي. كيف اتعلم اللغه العربيه ؟ ادرس في كلية العلوم الاسلاميه.
Urdu speaker here, agreed. It helps that the alphabet is very similar.
It's easy for Urdu people to learn Arabic or Persian because the characters are similar. But for other people, it's difficult.
As an Italian who studied Mandarin Chinese and lived in Shanghai for many years my main difficulties were memorizing the characters at first and pronunciation, moreover you have to get used to Shanghainese. At least you should understand it a bit because it's going to make your life way easier, especially dealing with elderly neighbors hehehe! And sometimes you have to deal with other dialects too, I remember I had to speak on the phone with a worker from a factory in Sichuan province, that was...interesting lol! Keep up the great work!!!
Thank you for sharing ☺️
Hi Dani, sorry to bother you but I find it incredible that you have the same name and the same initial of my last name, which is Fracchiolla. It would be amazing if that was also the same 😂 Anyway, I really wanted to comment because besides these coincidences, you also achieved my goal of going to Shanghai. I find it really absurd that I see myself in you. Anyway, if you could, I would really appreciate the chance to talk with you a little bit because I would like to ask you a couple of things about China and what it's like for Italians.
@@daniens6782 There are many videos made by westerner about China on youtube. It is easy to look for. Do you mind tell me the questions?
As a 27-year-old Chinese, I can't understand Shanghainese at all. I have lived in Shanghai for 5 years and can only speak Mandarin.
As an Arabic native speaker i am here to tell u guys even for us the fusha is very challenging but also very rewarding words in fusha sound different in an amazing way also we have a subject called "بلاغه" and its considered with Arabic literature, i don't know if u know guys but Arabian literature is in another level also don't worry if you only learning Arabic for a job each Arabian country has it's own simplified Arabic.
I think what makes Arabic so special is that more than 50% of the words and grammar and eloquency comes from the Quran, some words even didnt existed before the revelation
IDK history exactly but sure the Quran is a miracle so it's only logic to be filled with magnificent words

For me, the grammer in the Arabic language was always fun.💜🥺
When you study it with love you will understand the secret meanings of what you're saying.
When you can say a powerful meaning in a few words, that a powerful language.💜
And the Arabic language can use the same words to give you different meanings, depending on the position of the word, and grammer.
I'm sure they are just learning in a wrong way, the Arabic grammer does make sense, if you think, you will understand.💜👍
And for phonetics and reading and writing they're so easy like Italian, English is so hard compared to them.
@@KosayHatem
Of course every language changes by the time.
You speak about Arabic’s expressiveness and yet you provide examples in Italian and English!!
Arabic’s phonetics can be hard because the vowels aren't represented by any symbol.
Yes! Please tell us more about the various Arabic dialects!❤
Thanks Zoe! Loved learning a bit about those languages, would love to see a video about Arabic dialects
I am happy to see u interesting about my language ^^ you can do it!
A bit late but I advise everyone who is learning Arabic to watch animation shows with arabic dub ( spacetoon ones specifically ) , their grammar is flawless and you can get immersed in the show while retaining the language .

@@holliswilliams8426 I would recommend the following shows: انا واخي، عهد الاصدقاء، ريمي، بائعة الكبريت They are all animes that have been translated and their plot in Arabic has been changed to accomedate the cultural and religious values of Arabs, but I think you'll like them, especially if you've been learning Arabic for a while now

Yess!! please make a video of the difference between arabic dialects, we would love to see that!! im moroccan and i speak the dialect a little bit, it has lots of words coming from the amazigh language, a bit from french and spanish as well and we mostly cut off a lot of the words.

MOROCCAN Dialact is the same as the Andalusian one, for centuries we were same country that why we have some spanish in our dialect, like rwayda, rwina, roubio, cotchina or kozina, ... even our saying is influenced by that times, for example when a place is too far to visit or to move to we say:it's Cartagena "قرطخنا" which is a city in north Andalusia ...
Nice Video! Really appreciate you to address the answer to the question “what language is hardest” 12:36 is quite subjective and each poses its own challenges!
11:38 Bingo. I am fluent in 5 languages, with Arabic being one of my three primary languages and I find Arabic to be the most complex language of the ones I know. To be fair though and as you pointed out, some languages like Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian have so much in common, that once you know one, it's not too difficult to pickup the others. Interesting video, I enjoyed it.
I think Spanish is the easiest language.😊
I agree. I started learning French a couple of months ago and learning it wasn't difficult because of how similar it is to English.

One reason of many that Holy Quran comes in Arabic language is Arabic’s Grammars
As speaker in 4 languages and as a native Arabic speaking, I suffered so much in my early years (as all my childhood friends) with learning it but I think the reason for that is in education systems and teachers as well
after that I felt in love with it as soon as I got into the unique Arabic poetry and layout of Arabic letters and after learning more languages I became more understanding with Arabic grammar, I found it very unique, logical and helpful

I'm learning Mandarin and all the things that I thought would make me suffer became the reason why I love learning it.
Honestly same
You have learned the core of Chinese. Chinese words are the easiest to guess the meaning
Mandarin is the most difficult language to learn and write. But I think it is the easiest language to read, if you reach to a high level. I can read a page of story book in Mandarin in 10 seconds. If it is a testbook, it would take longer because it takes more time to think about the reason and memorize it. 有个成语叫做一目十行。
That's a right metaphor, and I think the tone just like the melody of a song. Try to hum it, then you'll gradually get the hang of it.
