I struggle to come up with competitive NR deck ideas I haven't done before. I find their variety tends to be more lacking than the other factions unfortunately. I am going to do an Uprising Witcher deck with Coen soon though.
I feel like Alba Armored Cavalry shoud be in excellent tier. 5 for 5+1A with lock AND soldier type on top of that. The only way you're not playing this card is that you have deck so strict you literally don't have any space for it. But for 5 provisions it's hard not to find that room.
It should be a specific nilfgaardly-powerfull tier for braindead cards like nauzicaa sergeant, imperial marine and thirsty dame (but I hope she is fine at 6 provision, haven't been playing since gwentfinity)
I'd like it to be buffed too. Even though thinning in R2 isn't as good as in R1, they do thin by 2 instead of 1 to compensate. They're interesting but unfortunately stuck in cultists at the moment.
Totally, no idea how they could land in 'OK' tier. Most thining cards are 4 for 4, here we have 1 for 5. Sure it thins 2 cards instead of 1 but only after R1 so having them in deck actually increases your chance of bricking R2 xD They are absolute mem tier without infusion, which nowadays they usually don't get after deacon got nerfed and is removed by anything.
@@kuramkarameruk Just because of Cultists and that deck being pretty good at the moment. A lot of the decks I run into now are Devotion (ST Midrange, Raid Warriors, Fallen Knights, etc.) or are GN/Renfri. Almost 70% of the decks I've played against this season don't have a way to remove Eternal Eclipse and in that environment the Cultist deck actually does pretty well. I really wanted to put them in Niche at least but I couldn't justify it considering Cultists spot at the moment and my methodology for the Tiers. Honestly, they should have been placed in the Good tier because of being played in Cultists, but I wasn't going to do that. Plus, in general a good number of the cards in the Okay tier would be fine if buffed anyway. I have seen more than one person using the Brigade outside of Cultists too, but people do weird stuff whenever Jan is nerfed despite him still being incredibly powerful.
Of course Deacon getting killed is still an issue for the deck, and I have seen a few people playing Cultists without the Bridage because of it but that seems wrong to me.
It's because the competition for thinning in NG is insane. Jan is infinitely better and by far the most common option, Blightmaker + Mage Assassin has less setup while playing for more tempo, Hunting Pack plays for the same tempo while bricking less and fitting in more decks, Aristocrats have Ard Feanin, Marine stacks your deck while being a 2 point a turn engine, not to mention cards like Roderick for Renfri and Aristocrats and War Council. In comparison to them Dearlan Soldier is an inferior option and pretty much never sees play. The case where it used to be viable was because of Slave Infantry Vreemde decks where pulling out a bunch of guys was good. Unfortunately, though those have been powercrept and NG swarm payoff has pretty much come down to only Triss: Meteor Shower and for her you want high base power units - not 2 power Daerlan Soldiers. In any other faction though a Daerlan Soldier clone (meaning they had the same card but a different appropriate tag to trigger it) would be amazing. NG just happens to be such a consistent faction that you don't need it for the thinning and its other uses aren't good enough anymore. Even Renfri which can't run Jan or Oneiromancy doesn't normally play it because they have consistency without it. That's my reason but if you were to put it in a vacuum and ignore the other options or in a generic tier list not limited to NG it would look better.
The Temerian patriotic society hereby condemns the lack of NR content.

@@platinumpatrol2964 It's not about variety, it's about sending a message.
Good stuff tho, syndicate is also fine in a pinch.

It is in the Excellent Tier. I moved it up at the end :)
@@platinumpatrol2964 So sorry. I only had time to watch 1/3 of it and will watch the rest tomorrow. Great video anyway! Can't wait for NR
Thanks for also showing the cards! Great content as always. Cheers!

Dame turned out to be fine at 6p and Marine is fine now too after getting nerfed to 3 power, both of which are nice.
Would be great to see links to every tierlist for those who want to make their own ones
I added them to the description of all the Tier List videos so they're there now.
I think Nauzica bariage needs buff bro. We use only cultist deck this card.

Idon't understand how daerlan soldier is weak? a 4p thinning card? I suppose you can brick with it but still...
