@kyukito thank you so much! We're so glad you enjoyed our video and found it to be helpful. Your feedback means a lot to us and helps us understand the format we should be adopting for all of our future videos. Thank you again!
What a wonderfully filmed, edited and very enchantingly narrated piece. As an Edinburgh resident of 61 years I must say I was very impressed. I think Cockburn was your only wrongly pronounced word. And MAJOR KUDOS for getting Holyrood correct. That’s something 99% of actual residents get wrong. Hooray for Holyrood! And NOT bloody Hollyrood 🦁
@suomiscot3236 thank you so much! Adrian and I are so happy to hear that you enjoyed our video. Your comments mean a lot to us, especially since you are a local. 🙂. And again, please accept our apologies for pronouncing Cockburn incorrectly. Thank you again!
As a retired history and geography teacher in Canada, who also taught video production, I must say that your video was perfect! We leave for Scotland in 3 weeks and will end our visit in Edinburgh. Your video will make our time there much more productive. THANKS for doing this.
@tamis15d Thank you so much! We can’t tell you how happy your comment has made us. We absolutely love Edinburgh and we are so happy to hear that we presented the city well. Thank you again!

My boyfriend is Scottish. I hope that in the near future I will go back and live there forever. I love it here even though it's very cold for me. Scotland 🏴💙😘
Yes it is very well presented. Ive been to Edinburgh once in 2007. The lovely place Ive ever been to. I travelled by road from Leicester to Edinburgh and Inverness..
@amaanuzman9177 Thank you so much! I absolutely agree with you. Edinburgh is one of the best cities we’ve ever been to. Inverness is definitely another future destination for us. 🙂 How did you like Inverness?
@@worthytravelsThanks for your reply. I was born and have always lived in Edinburgh, the only other city I would consider living in is Vienna in Austria. I would highly recommend a visit there if you can, I think you would love it.
@@BurmaEK we completely agree with you. Vienna is an amazing city! We were there last December and next week, we will be releasing our video on Vienna’s Christmas markets. 🙂 I’ve only been to Vienna twice but both visits were very memorable.
@@sairamissy Yes December is fine and less busy but weather wise it could be clear and crisp or snow(less likely) but probably rain. Also, by mid December, daylight is down to about 6/7 hours per day. Having said that, the city still has all the attractions and seeing Scotland and the city in winter and at night, adds to the sense of history.
@mugobp.7318 thank you so much! Your comment just made our day! We hope you’ll recommend our video to others who may be interested as well. Thank you again!
Great video! I'm going for the fourth time in October, and there are recommendations here that I'll use, so thank you. A couple small things - Cockburn Street is pronounced Koh-burn, and your arrow pointing to Arthur's Seat was actually pointing to the Salisbury Crags, which lie beneath Arthur's Seat. The Crags are impressive, in and of themselves, though, and are worth the effort to get to them. I hope you get to go back!
@richardsteer3760 Hi Richard! Thanks so much for getting in touch! And thank you as well for pointing out those errors. I’ll see if there is a way I can edit the video. If not, I’ll post a correction comment on here. Yes, I look forward to going back to Edinburgh 🙂. Probably when Adrian and I move back to the UK. Thank you again and have a safe and wonderful trip to Edinburgh!
@denisesneeringer9109 HI there! I highly recommend staying at the Radisson Blu Edinburgh City Centre. It's where we stayed and it was perfect for us due to its location. It's right in the center of the Royal Mile and we walked everywhere (apart from our trip to Leith to see the Britannia). It's also one of the very few places in the city centre with parking. I hope this helps!
Hi! Is visiting Edinburgh in mid November a good idea or not? We will only be able to get away then.... Where would be a good hotel to stay for first timers to Edinburgh?
@peggytan4610 Edinburgh in November is a great time to visit, as long as you don't mind the cold weather and the chances of rain. It's a slow time of the year for tourism so it tends to be cheaper and there won't be any crowds. I highly recommend staying at the Radisson Blu on the Royal Mile. It's very central and you can walk everywhere within Old Town and New Town from here.
that is not the way to eat Haggis!! I wouldn't eat that. And I have to say as a Scot, I have never tried a deep fried Mars bar. I think it's a tourist thing.
@@pamipandimonium5742 we’re not opposed to trying haggis again. Hopefully, we’ll have better luck next time. And yes, the deep fried Mars bar is a novelty item “invented” by a chippy in Aberdeen. We’ve heard so much about it, especially when we were living in England, we just had to try it. Our verdict: trying it once is enough. 😄
Funny how that is pronounced differently throughout the UK. Not the only word mind where that’s true. Are you local to the area or visited there much? It’s a beautiful City.
ERROR CORRECTION: Thanks to some of our viewers, we were informed that Cockburn Street is pronounced as "Coburn". We apologize for our mistake.
Thank for the correction 💪🏻
@@AbbasAlMatawah you’re very welcome! Our apologies for mispronouncing it
I'd love to see us attempt to pronounce the names of your streets ! 😆
