I love the historical research and the traveling tips. It made me miss Kyoto and their food. Omg the food!!

Best Kyoto blog i've found tbh. Thanks for the info!. Arriving in 10 days and cannot wait.
@unclejeda1 thank you so much! Have a safe and wonderful trip!
Great Video May i know the date when you visited
@@baala91 thank you! We were there last December right before Christmas.
I just watched your video again after we visited Edinburgh, and again, I can still say your video was the best! We were there for three days and barely saw a fraction of what there was to see. We used the two-day, three-tour Hop-on, hop-off Buses. It was well worth it. Our weather was no better than yours, but that didn't seem to bother anyone. The castle was much larger than it looks from below. We could have easily spent two days just visiting the Closes. They are all so different. We stayed out of town and used the trains, as Edinburgh is an expensive place to stay in, and the trains are frequent. This year, it is the Outer Hebrides for a very different vacation.
@@grantw7 thank you so much! We agree, there is so much to see in Edinburgh. We are definitely looking to returning in the near future. And you’re right, accommodation was expensive for us too! We’re so glad to hear that you had a great trip and thank you so much for the update. 🙂
Great video! Thanks for sharing. We are going in April!

I love you vlog because it's long and very descriptive. This will help my cousin and I with our trip next month for 14 days in Japan. I will be coming from the U.S. but heading first to Manila then part Japan, Bangkok (lived for 3 years) for total of 2 months. I cannot wait to visit Japan. Leaving my husband in Manila to enjoy playing golf, LOL!!!

@jorgenclausen3911 I would love to go back soon
Where did you stay? Would you recommend it?
Hi there, we stayed at an Airbnb in Whittington. And yes, we highly recommend it. It was perfect for 2 people. Here is the link: www.airbnb.com/rooms/552750260077451934?source_impression_id=p3_1737649710_P3vQS0d5Kgf-jB53
Thank you for this excellent and very informative video of this beautiful area of England. I went for the first time a couple of years ago. I stayed in Patterdale, near Ullswater; I enjoyed lovely, warm and sunny September weather in such a pretty place. I also visited Bowness-on-Windermere (extremely busy with tourists), Ambleside and Keswick. All worth visiting.
I think being blessed with sunny weather really makes a difference when visiting the Lakes. While it’s easy to wrap up warm and go hiking, having clear views and being warm makes it 100 times better. I think to avoid the tourists you have to go to the western side of the Lake District. As this is further away from the motorways most people don’t tend to travel to this side of it. Glad you had a great time! Hope you get to go back soon. Appreciate you watching our video and for the comment!
Nicely done video. The best place in England. 😊
Aside from Bournemouth 😜 Seriously though you are probably right. Hoping to spend more time there this year especially on the western side. Appreciate the comment!
@worthytravels the western side is possibly the most beautiful but a bit harder to get. Hope you manage to get there.
We were planning on doing it on our list trip but ran out of time. Next time would definitely like to avoid some of the more popular spots and get into the wilderness a bit more.
Will our guide be able to pick us up from our hotel? There will be 3 of us...also with it being a private tour do you also tip at the end? Thanks for the video...looks amazing...We plan on early March
@@melissaquantock9566 hi there! Yes, as long as you’re staying in Tokyo (and I think Yokohama), your tour guide can pick you up. I believe they can pick you up elsewhere and the areas are mentioned in the description on Get Your Guide (here’s the link: getyourguide.tp.st/KuXTZ3QU). We did not tip in the end. In Japan, tipping is not customary and can be frowned upon (unless they ask you for it or in restaurants, if you see a tip jar). What they do ask from you is to write them an honest review on Get Your Guide or Viator. I hope this helps.
beautiful and informative video, and a very beautiful place to visit, I also plan to make beautiful memories there in the middle of this year. :) ❤

So buy a regular ticket with cash, to go along the special train?
@morpholochic8167 yes. You can buy the special train fare online. And make sure to book your seats. If you want to book the booth (which is what we had), you have to pay for all 4 seats in the booth whether there are 4 of you or not. Then when you get to the station, buy a regular base fare ticket to gain entry through the gates. Or if you have an IC card, you can use that to get past the gate.
Thank you so much, this is so helpful
@@morpholochic8167 you’re very welcome! Thanks so much for your comment and for watching our video 🙂
Is that in Tromso? It looks remote
@robinmangala3536 as mentioned in our main video, just a few miles outside of Tromso. We got lucky and we didn't have to go far.

@@EvilCarnisa that’s awesome! Have a wonderful trip and let us know if we can help you with your planning! 🙂
@@worthytravels thank you, I will! I keep looking through different videos for ideas to plan for. All of the tours are very reasonably priced, I did have a question for you- is there a “night life”, in the way of maybe clubs or bars, by chance? Thank you for your time.
@@EvilCarnisa yes, there are bars in Tromso that stay open until 1 AM or 3 AM, depending on the day (they close early during the week and Sundays). However, they have alcohol laws to follow and drinks are on the expensive side. I hope this helps!
@ it does, thanks!
3 days is crazy short! My first time there I was there for 8 nights
@gumerzambrano yeah, 3 days felt very short. Unfortunately, we had a lot of places to visit and we only had 15 days in Japan. Maybe on our 4th trip back to the country, we’ll be able to stay longer
What time did you start your day and end for the map itinerary? Going to Switzerland in August and want to dive into things when I land
@@OfficialAbyMusic hi there! We normally started at 9 and would end our day between 8 and 9 PM (with breaks in between).
Great video. Helps heaps as we are there in around a months time. Just out of curiosity, have you done Tokyo / planning on doing a vid of you have. Keep up the great work.

Hello. Thank you for the info. What time were you guys starting your day at and what time you guys ended on average?
@abnerguajardo250 Hi there! Thank you for watching our video. We woke up super early everyday due to jet lag and wandered around but then we went back to the hotel to chill out and have breakfast. After that, we normally started our days between 8:30 to 9 AM since majority of the attractions we went to opened at 10. And we would take a mid-afternoon break in our hotel room to rest our weary legs and feet (from around 3 - 4 PM), then we would head out again. We normally ended our days between 9 to 11 PM. Long days with lots of walking but it was well worth it! I hope this helps. 🙂

Very good video with lots of helpful tips. But Osaka is expensive? What do you think
@AnneChappel-q1i thank you so much! We didn't think Osaka was expensive at all and there are so many ways to save money while there. I would say eating out all the time at restaurants and taking taxis can easily add up. However, there are so many food stalls and convenience stores with amazing food. The trains and buses are good too.
I think you should go when you don’t need to worry about costs.
@somemale please explain further. Your comment is rather unkind and unwarranted. I think anyone can go, maybe others are just more cost conscious. It doesn’t mean they can’t afford it
The fact that the OP has to ask the question means that they are highly cost conscious. There are many other places within Asia that they could visit where they could still have an amazing experience at a lower cost. Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia… Yes, Japan can be affordable but you will miss out on so much of what makes a visit to Japan, Japan. Didn’t mean to come off as unkind, just being honest.
@somemale thank you for the clarification. You have a very valid point
