Thanks Farideh! 🙏🏼
She didn't get the inspiration for Hogwarts by sitting in the Elephant House and seeing George Heriot's School because she didn't write Harry Potter and the Philospher's Stone in the Elephant House and you can't see Gerge Heriot's from the cafe were she actually wrote it.
Oh didn’t she??! 😬
@@cjexplores She wrote the first book mostly in her brother’s cafe, Spoon, in Nicolson Street. That isn’t to say that she didn’t use it as inspiration because it’s a well known Edinburgh building.
@@andrewmorton9327 sometimes we don’t remember where the inspiration comes from. We’ve seen that many times over in the music industry with lawsuits over melodies that sound very similar but have no connection!
@@cjexplores Edinburgh has so many cafes which claim to be where she wrote Harry Potter that some places actually have signs up saying ‘J K Rowling never wrote here’!
@@andrewmorton9327 That's incredible! Our tour guide told us that the Harry Potter stores located down Victoria St actually replaced some of the quirkier stores that used to exist there! How ironic, right? 🤷♂
if you want to see beast cannon go to red square

DON"T RUB BOBBY"S NOSE!
Why not??
@@cjexplores many people have been rubbing it and unknowingly the oils and perfumes on their hands is eroding the beautiful bronze on Bobby’s sculpture
@@worldwideinspiration.6842 oh no!!! 🙉 his nose does look cute all golden though 🤩
@Tab Ford gotcha, I don't think people will resist the urge to touch. It's in our nature to explore the world through all of our senses. Good on you for trying to help little Bobby's statue though ✌🏼
