Tomorrow is Dondo Yaki in my village!
Today I got permission to shoot the event that will take place at sunrise.
Dondo Yaki is The burning of last years charms and New Years decorations
The very last bit of the Japanese New Year
the burning last year's Omamori, Ema, and Omikuji
Come visit the local shrine with me the day before as preparations get under way.
