Hi Martin. I understand the longing and suffering very well. My Japanese wife and I raised our daughter Emily in Shizuoka city from age three to fourteen, before I returned to Los Angeles first in 2014, and the family joined me in 2015. Emily is graduating from Cal State Fullerton in May and is now in Tokyo over winter break for job interviews (she’s got a good one on the line). My wife Yumiko and I are retiring this year and returning “home” to Shizuoka. I think I understand what you are experiencing as I have been there too. I’m wishing you all the best. :-)

That’s awesome. Both countries have unique offerings. I think Japan is a perfect place to retire

Hey Martin, would you ever consider moving back to NYC? Do you feel life is better for your son in Japan vs NYC? Excuse me if my question is too personal or inappropriate.

Yes, I would consider moving anywhere. I love the peace and stability of Japan but many other countries many different things to offer. I consider other countries often.

So in the end, what was the reason your A/C condenser was running?

It’s heat! It’s cold in the mountains!

@@TheMartinShowJapan Something is amiss. The outside fan wouldn't need to run on a heater. Are you heating and cooling/compressing at the same time?
