The Wii U did indeed deserve better but if I’m not mistaken I’ve heard that the system, due to the way it was designed, made it difficult for 3rd party developers to make games for the system.
Perhaps the game pad having to be the main controller was a major flaw if I had to guess. Although there were separate normal controllers you could buy for it too.
I had a wii u and it is probably The most underrated console ever , the pad wasn't that bad and so were the Games, also it had Nintendoland

Did anyone else notice in Pokémon legends Arceus that the polka balls and the technology they use were pretty old and limitated , but in this new pokemon game, everything looks futuristic?
Yeah, that’s because legends arceus takes place a couple hundred years before the setting of any of the other pokemon games.

Switch has been Nintendo’s best console generation by a country mile. And even if I would have wanted a new mainline DK, it’s not the first time DK’s skipped a console generation, so I can only look forward to Switch 2 for the next new DK.
Also, 12:30 there’s literally no question of Prime 4 coming to Switch 1, same with Legends Z-A. They have the Switch logo in their reveal trailers and the reveal trailers have Nintendo Switch in the title. It’s confirmed, just gotta wait and see if they’re cross Gen or if backwards compatibility will mean that’s not necessary.
Splatoon is still a HIGHLY underrated game we need to grow the franchise and the (admittedly niche) competitive scene. More people need to give it a chance and not try to compare it to games like COD bc they’re two completely different things in my eyes (especially in the story department. Splatoon fans have been eating a feast with story).

Hey Nin10ndoland, if i'm being honest when you play that splitoon 2 music after the video, it instantly brought back so many memories nostalgia is a powerful thing.
The end is coming soon, but when the Switch 2 gets released, the original Switch will be remembered and will never be forgotten. Just like the Wii U.

My guess is that we’ll get remakes / remasters on Switch for up to three years after Switch 2 releases. Nintendo won’t abandon that huge install base.

Hey, I'm back, I count 85 Switch games in the thumbnail, there could be more, depending on how you count the games, I counted each Pokemon pairing as 1 game, if you count them each as one there'd be more than 85.
Anyways, out of the 85 games, there were 10 I couldn't guess from the blurry thumbnail and 1 that disqualified me from guessing since I looked at the screen before guessing Pokemon Snap. So 11 missed overall.

Since you clearly need ideas, here’s one:
What will the confirmed “announcement” for switch 2 be? Will it be just a full reveal date? Will it be the reveal itself? Release date? Price? Will they announce everything this fiscal year?
The fact we went from what is arguably the nadir of Nintendo's legacy with the Wii U (which, to be completely fair, is still an amazing console, but sales-wise sold worse than every other Nintendo console sans the Virtual Boy across its lifetime) to what was arguably their biggest-selling console since the Wii is astounding! There really has never been a better time to be a Nintendo fan as far as console lineups go! And that's not even getting into third-party franchises like Sonic, Pac-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and so on which had some of their biggest and best installments ever on the Switch. I could go on and on, but it basically speaks for itself just how massive the Switch ended up being in the long run.
Now with all the Wii U ports done, we can expect a lot and I mean a LOT of new games for the next console! More than Switch had and Switch had a lot to begin with so get ready!!
Real talk tho, this era has been unforgettable in countless ways. This has been one of Nintendo's best eras as a game company and definitely one of the most memorable. I loved the Wii U so much despite its flaws. I truly believe this was the Wii U's successor, a redemption console if you will, and they really came back infinite fold. What makes me so excited for this next console is they don't have to put any focus on ports and rectify the Wii U. They have fully moved far into the Switch and how they will expand even further on this concept and while creating immeasurably incredible games and experiences that will take you out of this world I can't wait man.

The Nintendo Switch was fun. Sadly I don't have much games on mine and my most played game on my Switch was New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe.... Okay, some of the games on the Switch I like playing were Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe, Kirby Star Allies, Super Kirby Clash, Kirby Fighters 2, Kirby Dream Buffet, Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Party, Mario Party Superstars, Mario VS Donkey Kong, Super Mario RPG, Luigi's Mansion 3, Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door, Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, Super Mario 3D All Stars, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze + New Funky Mode, Super Mario Maker 2, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, Paper Mario The Origami King, New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe, Super Mario Bros Wonder, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Splatoon 2, Splatoon 3, WWE 2K18, and Miitopia and also the Nintendo Switch Online as well.
But there was some games that we're missing that Nintendo should put for Switch like doing full-on remakes of both Kirby Triple Deluxe and Kirby Planet Robobot and having new side-story modes for both Taranza and Susie, maybe they could finally give us Tomodachi Life on Switch and adding the Miitopia Mii Maker in it, maybe they could give us a remake of Starfox Assault, maybe they could give us a remake of either Mike Tyson's Punch-Out or Punch-Out Wii, maybe they could give us a sequel for Kirby Air Ride or a port of Kirby and the Rainbow Curse or a port of Kirby Battle Royale, maybe they could finally give us Super Mario Galaxy 2 to go along with Super Mario Galaxy, and they could give us a new WWE Game since WWE 2K18 was pretty bad.
But I'm excited for the games that are coming to Switch like Epic Mickey Rebrushed, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Mario and Luigi Brothership, and Donkey Kong Country Returns HD but it would be exciting for me if Nintendo just finally brings Tomodachi Life and the two 3DS Kirby Games Kirby Triple Deluxe and Kirby Planet Robobot to Switch but I can't wait for Switch 2 since I know that we're getting a sequel for Kirby and the Forgotten Land like having new copy abilities and upgrades, new mouthful modes, and new playable characters like King Dedede, Meta Knight, and Clawroline, and also a new 3D Mario game and a new Mario Kart Game but man 7/8 years of the Switch and I hope to see some big things we can get from both the Switch and Switch 2. But thank you Nintendo Switch for everything you've done for me to make me happy for playing your games thank you.

Here's my prediction for the Switch 2's First Party Launch Date Titles in March 2025:
1. New 3-D Mario Platformer (4 years since Bowser's Fury, almost 7.5 since Odyssey? This is happening.)
2. Pokemon Legends Z-A (Cross-generation, and already announced as such. LOL, Pokemon Company.)
3. New Animal Crossing (5 years since New Horizons, with THOSE sales? LAUNCH. TITLE.)
4. New Mario Kart (11 years from Mario Kart 8? YEP.)
5. Splatoon 4 (Only 2.5 years from 3, but this is a game you get out early into the next console.)
6. Metroid Prime 4 (It'll probably be cross-generation, so they're not technically lying about it being developed for Switch 1.)

Because this Super Mario Mainline 3D Game’s 15th & The Super Mario Series’ 40th Anniversary they Coyld Very well Released Super Mario Galaxy 2 For Both Switch 1 AND 2,also due to The Movie Sequel in 2026,so Nintendo Can & probably WILL Release this Underrated Banger,besides The Switch executive Producer is also the Man behind Both Super Mario Galaxy titles so therefore it is all the more Likely we see Super Mario Galaxy 2 Remade Remastered for Switch 1 & 2,and again thanks to the Upcoming Anniversaries otherwise it Would be A Shame not to Release Super Mario Galaxy 2 for Switch 1 and/or 2

Best Nintendo console generation in terms of raw games and variety since the SNES. Probably the best of all time.
Nintendo did so much for what they’ve given us for the switch and I am thankful for everything they’ve made.
I Honestly love the switch until the day I die its the best Nintendo Console I have ever had! My Personal Favorite Games on the Switch are Super Mario Odyssey and Sonic Frontiers! When Shadow Generations Comes out I really hope it surpasses our expectations and be the best Sonic Game on the switch!

Absolutely, Switch is indeed Nintendo's one of, if not, the BEST console they have ever released. I would even prefer it over Wii, which was my personal favorite. Even so, I do miss the Wii's perfect pointer control that Joy Con's gyroscope couldn't match, though it did the job well in some games.
And I think Nintendo is keeping Wind Waker and Twilight Princess ports for the Switch's successor. They will be actively developing the next mainline Zelda game that we won't get to see for 2-3 years, so Wind Waker and Twilight Princess ports would be good palate cleanser to hold us over until then.
I STRONGLY DOUBT that the main Nintendo Switch era is over. It will be over WHEN Nintendo says so. The last time I checked, Nintendo SPECIFICALLY said the current Switch is at "the middle" of its lifecycle. Until Nintendo ACTUALLY is in the mood for revealing the successor to the current Switch, for the time being, I SAY that we are STILL technically in the current Switch era.
