Not meaning this as a put down, but that was identical to everyday roads to and from my house growing up in Michigan. Only time it would demonstrate the Subaru’s ability is when you’ve had days after days of rain and road starts to wash out, or during winter with heavy, wet NY/North East snow cover.
Thx for the video. Looking at the Crosstrek Sport. I love traveling dirt roads and exploring. A CT with some small mods seems to fit nice. You're off to a good start. Don't mind the wise guys .
I agree. I don't like the X-mode in the crosstrek. I've taken a crosstrek on more gnarly mountain roads than this in CA, and regular mode works best, imo.
i didnt know that K4rtboy even made lift kits for the crosstrek! sickk man. manual mode with traction control off is the best all around setting. if you havnt yet, look into getting a cvt cooler. itll keep your cvt temps low when offroading and extend its life. if your looking into offroading more, make sure to check out the closest mtnroo chapter. Im from the mtnroo san diego ca chapter but theres tons nationwide and internationally. its basically an offroad subie community. other vehicles are also welcomed. Those wildpeaks are pretty much the best all terrain tire u can get for the price.
Oof, hearing that Flamingosis track at the beginning gave me some Krispy vibes from the "Making my radio not suck" video haha. I've been watching you and Chris' videos since the beginning of Krispy Media. Love the content from both of you! You have become my inspiration to get myself a Forester sometime soon!
No offense, but that really was not off-roading. That was just a normal dirt road. We drive roads like that all the time in regular passenger cars (at much higher speed). Keep exploring. Your Crosstrek can do a hell of a lot more. Enjoy!

Where in NY is this? Looks like a fun drive.
Were is the location on this mountain or the name?

This is off road?
Great little crosstrek you have. I’m sure it can do much more then this. Keep exploring those trails
Do your back tires rub?
Any rubbing issues with that tire / wheel combo?
You dont wanna put it in manual when trying to get over rocks and stuff it messes with the CVT but how you were going was fine

Not gonna lie this trail looks likes any car could make it through here, I have a 19 trek too but this is just too easy for the thing

I love flamingobro!
When did driving on a dirt road become off roading

Looks good dude. Now get some PR skid plates and go send it!
Check out the OEM skid plate install I did let me know what you think ruclips.net/video/ascez_kzOYk/видео.html
I have those same wheels on a 2019 WRX. Love them
Mate, ya wife needs a baby
Off road? No, you went on some dirt roads. LOL
I'm guessing catskills or adirondacks.
Please dont touch the newts!
so what's considered off-roading in the US, is regular city driving in Mexico City! haha worst street carpeting ever, nice video though!
This is more softroading
look up litebrite on youtube, that's offroading.
Nicolas Price technically thats rock crawling
Crosstrek Craze they do it all, bombing through dunes and east coast mud, a lot of rock but still
