- Russia says the country respected all safety rules when its warplanes flew extremely close to a U.S. Navy destroyer in the Baltic Sea. The Pentagon released dramatic video showing the jets race by. It happen more than 30 times over two days, and the Obama administration calls the simulated attacks “unsafe.” David Martin reports on the Cold War-style confrontation.
Russian jets came Dangerously Close to American ship which was Dangerously Close to Russia.

Parking a destroyer 70 miles away from a naval base is something done to lesser powers. Those planes flying over the destroyer is the equivalent to that destroyer being in such close proximity to their base. They were just saying that the intimidation doesn't work.

First: They can fly all day long around the ship if they want to, it is in international waters right on their border.
Second: They are not armed, they didn't lock on target (ship) that means they are not planing to shoot at anything.
Third: Shooting down unarmed airplane at international waters is a suicide for any credibility that the U.S. has left after funding, arming and training the terrorists in Syria and Libya.
Forth: What do you think the Russians would do if their unarmed airplane get shot down right on their border 70 miles from a navy base and an enclave armed to the teeth with the latest Russian weaponry. Do you think they will swallow their pride like In the case when the criminal government in turkey shot down a Russian plane over Syria? I think not.
