I'm really excited about this move. We need to densify and fill out our city with more walkability. Downtown and the inner city is so small compared to the metro population. I hope Metro continues with expanding public transit in other corridors like BRT on Glenway Ave. Hopefully this leads to introducing other modes of transit in the future i.e. streetcar expansion, light rail, dare I say a subway?? The public support is growing, so we should move forward.
