You might want to have the car off during the outside portions. The flickering lights are a bit distracting. Good point on the rear door. Can't wait to see what the renewed design will look like.
@@jtsyo8364 Thank you for the feedback. I will try that next time and I can always cut to a blown up clip of the vehicles appearance with my voice in the background when I'm talking about the appearance. I really do hope they change the door handles for the next one, they can't save them THAT much range from conventional doors right? Also I want a heat pump lol
I like your reviews. Very real and relatable. You give us the important details we need to know. (and you're not bad on the eyes, haha. No disrespect.)
FYI for 2024 in North America the standard range for both select and premium trims are LFP batteries. The extended/long range batteries for all trims are NCM batteries..
@@drhollett oh good to know. I reached out to a Ford dealer here in Canada and they said just the select standard range but I'm assuming the US have more options or perhaps I misheard
Greetings! Welcome to the channel. I've been to Belgium for work since NATO HQ is there. Lovely country. Which trim did you order and when do you expect delivery?
@@Outsider.Reviews Thank you ! I live near the SHAPE, which you probably know very well. I chose the premium long range version in red. But I have to wait 34 weeks 😭
Depends on the EV. You are right from the perspective of value and that is because each year's model to come will be improved on and render the previous year less attractive. That doesn't happen as much with ICE vehicles because they don't make advancements as much as EVs do.
@@FordEnthusiast413 they opted to take cues from Tesla is my impression, however, most people looking elsewhere from Tesla to buy an EV are doing so because they want something else. That's just what I think
@@FordEnthusiast413 Tesla's pop door handles require you to put your thumb on one side, causing it to pop the other side out. the Ioniq 6's pop out handles felt extremely solid. I don't think it's needed but they did a good job. I personally like the ID.4 door handles the best.
Excellent review, guys!
Thank you Luc

@@wonderwall7354 that's a very long time. Sorry
These are great lease vehicles or get a slightly used one. Great job Pat.

I agree the rear door is counterintuitive
Yeah as a father of a young boy... I'm not a fan
@@Outsider.Reviews agree with you as well. I do not know what Ford was thinking when they designed it.

@@Outsider.Reviewsi thought Teslas have those pop out door handles like the Ioniq5/6? Mach-E definitely looks better than a Tesla. LOL 😂
