It's funny how INFJ's are known for being misunderstood. I think the reason so many of us just click with ENTP's is because they are often misunderstood as well. So many people take their debating personally and get defensive. ENTP's just want to learn and discuss interesting ideas - and even challenge traditionally held ideas, which can be seen as "controversial." It's not about being combative or malicious. It's about their hunger for learning and growing. And that's one of the reasons we get along so well - we share that hunger for knowledge and learning, and being lifelong learners.
I'm an ENTP, and have been in love with an INFJ for 10 years. She and I are very close friends, but she's been with someone else and is now married, so remain good friends we shall.

Great video, very in-depth! I agree with everything you said with the exception of ENTPs being frugal. As an ENTP, I admit I'm pretty careless with money. I see something I want or get a new idea that requires me to spend money to get started on it and I don't think twice about the repercussions of spending the money. I impulsively spend it. Hello o/ We are very alike INTPs as we also usually need alone time but I think what's the biggest different is that INTPs wouldn't always speak their mind or bother explaining. We can't do that, can't speak for every ENTP obviously, but to me I need to explain to take it off my brain.
Intps are more calmer version of entp,as an entp i,m very straight forward and never be silent if my values ,ideas or ethics get attacked by others,on the other hand intps always calm and silent they dont care what happens around them......

I just axed a long and important love story with an ISFJ girl because it became dull and suffocating. I hope I will find an INFJ one day, I'd be very curious to see how it goes.
As an ENTP male, I found the INFJ quite inflexible in the end, to the point where I felt that she wanted to control my thinking. She was self-righteous and had nothing to back it up. It's funny you mentioned the ENTP as a conservator, when I have seen other videos that say they are horrible with finances, and I can confirm that personally.

hmm, well I believe you've just met with a less mature INFJ. Usually a more mature INFJ is less controlling and more flexible, and usually being an INFJ it seems she was aware of her Ni, leading her to being self righteous without nothing to show. but usually when there's "nothing to show", it means we are just staying inwards in a way. I believe you can understand as well, the feeling of being misunderstood is a tiring feeling. especially having Fe as an auxiliary function, INFJs can feel it's not worth showing themselves if no one can understand. maybe she just didn't realise she wasn't exactly ready for a relationship. also yeah, I get the last part, sometimes I spend a lot on food 😂😂
INFJ here, my future hubs/best friend is an ENTP. I found the info here pretty interesting. Some of the issues you mentioned here I don't think apply to us as he is pretty extroverted, and I'm not so much an introvert as an ambivert. So we enjoy the adventures we go on together. Also, while he is very fragile, he is also pretty generous. And he does see the value of putting money towards quality items. But, I do think some of the info you've provided offers insight into both our personality types. So I do appreciate that. He and I do compliment one another pretty well.
I like the comment about money management on ENTP with Si Ive heard many stereotypes that ENTP is bad with money but I believe that to be more with ENFP or most feelers for that matter. I was raised by ESFJ and ESTJ parents so maybe that bled into my great money management. I have always been taught to save and be more frugal with money and it has helped me through life. I always want to find best value and only buy if it truly helps me.

I’ve taken the online test a few times and I’m always INFJ , but when I read about INFP I really identify with the description of that personality. My husband just took the test for the first time and his result is ENTJ. I’ve been trying to read more about the subject to see if this is an accurate result for him. My point is, even though our types might be a bit different from the types you compare in this video, much of what you described seems to apply to us. It was so fascinating to learn about what makes us so compatible, and I think it’s very helpful to understand what aspects of our personalities might not always be in sync, and why. Thank you for exploring such an interesting topic; it’s given me much to think about. :)
ENTP here, This video is incorrect, as INFP's are the type that "helps' ENTP's be quite and that's only because we feel like we are walking on eggshells or through an emotional minefield in their presence. I would also argue most ENTP's resent INFP's to a certain degree because of this dynamic. INFJ's multiply and amplify the vociferous nature of ENTP's because ENTP's give INFJ's the rich philosophical conversations they so desperately desire. If an INFJ is "helping" an ENTP be quite then your not an INFJ but an INFP 🤐
But I would say we become more relaxed. So more quiet in the way that we become less emotionally damaging to other types because the INFJ can "step in" (make us realize) when we are doing it (which we tend to not notice).. They can bring the same words we want to say in an emotional way more handleble by others.. Added: but yes, if we are actually quiet it's 9/10 for the eggshells
I cannot tell you how much I agree with walking on eggshells part. With my INFJ boyfriend, I never know what joke will trigger him and make him emotional. It has drained me so much
INFJs would like ENTPs to talk a little less. ENTPs can talk from dawn to dusk. Even tbough INFJs enjoy what ENTPs are narrow casting, we are introverts and need to be calm and quiet for a while.
INFJ sounds like rigidity incarnated, don’t think I would like to debate or, the horror, live with somebody that have a problem viewing this from different angles. The best partner for an ENTP might be another ENTP...
