The way you're able to apply your understanding of the forms and anatomy for the head/face in particular in such a fluid manner is insane to me, I can only hope to be that capable one day. Really impressive sculpting techniques, and the variety of methods used, I really appreciate your videos.
It's really nice watching these because as a blender novice, I can recognize things that are familiar plus new things that I never would have thought of. Watching time lapses like these certainly makes me feel like an apprentice learning from a master, and I find them a lot easier for learning than specifically guided tutorials. So thanks for this! New things I learned today are things such as: - particle edit for the hair - masking for sculpting - in general: the way you were sculpting to achieve certain core body parts before refining/iterating them later in the process - forgetting that you can use the 7 heads method for 3D too, not just drawing - my favorite recurring thing I've seen: using Catmull-Clark subdividers on basic shapes to create more complex shapes - I knew about extruding an object/shape along a path, but seeing how you used it to do strands of hair was very cool I'll probably be referencing this for the future so thanks again!
You always know how to create them Good Unique ass Characters man, most people would just make them in the classic form, But No not Yan, Very creative, Respect that 👍🏾
You are such a pro! You inspired me to sculpt and actually i just finished my first head, thanks to you! And also... Buying XP Pen today :D the 22R pro
this is awesome! would love to see how you are using the Multi-Rez modifier as I notice it while the rig is on screen and seems to help with the topology
Hey, Can someone explain what's happening at 21:20, how can he switch from his pose to A pose ? Why the wireframe is inflated/offset ? What mesh deform does ? Thanks Awesome sculpt as always
Phenomenal work! I love your style! Btw, have you ever tried importing and posing your characters in Unreal Engine 5? Would be awesome to see how your work would look like in a real time environment powered by Nanite (Environment) and Lumen for lighting.
Amazing! I am starting with blender and based on these types of videos I am learning a lot. One question: how can I sculpt only in pose mode without modifying it in object mode? I understand that the ideal would be to make a character in A or T pose and then pose it, but both are modified.Thank you very much!
I don't quite understand what you mean by sculpt in pose mode without modifying in object mode. You can pose your character in pose mode and then select your object and go to sculpt mode. :)
is Blender better then Maya? i use maya and zbrush but kind of new to 3d artist.. thinking if i shoulkd get wacom cintiq 24 4k or huion 24 4k.. i have a wacom intous pro right now pen tablet...
This is amazing. We know your skills and I sincerely follow your videos. But, can you please upload any of these videos as a Tutorial like from Scratch to Print ready Model. Ex: Donut tutorial by Blender Guru. So, that you will help us understanding "Sculpting for Blender" in one go.
I know Im a little late to the party. but I was wondering if you can do a hand tutorial for us. I'm at the stage in my sculpt where I need to add hands and I keep messing them up! I hope you see this keep up the good work!
I like watching your workflow. When your character is finished do you parent all of the objects together. The video moves so fast I cannot keep up those steps.
i just ordered my xp pen 16pro artist. i was just watching your videos and i was motivated to try and do it too. im a digital artist but i only do it on my ipad, because of this i wanted to start using blender too. can you do a beginnings tutorial for 2.92 too?
Just started blender. And looking at this sculpting... What a G

this looks pretty professional, I didn't know blender sculpt mode could achieve this level of detail
it can handle most of what you put at it tbh
I really respect the fact this was all done from scratch and none of it was simulated.
You always know how to create them Good Unique ass Characters man, most people would just make them in the classic form, But No not Yan, Very creative, Respect that 👍🏾

Were you using a plugin? I saw you used a curve to make the hair, but I don't know how a curve and turn into that hair shape.

How did you sculpt with bone deform? When I tried to do that it will snap it back to the original pose...
