Thank you! I too have a lot of cells which makes this even better. Never have to deal with a dead controller again. I may consider selling these, I just have to look into the logistics of it all.

Hey man this is pretty cool.
Does the controller itself have a charging controller of some kind? I would think it does by using those connections on the side, used by the official battery pack and not the connections used by the AA battery contacts?
I wanted to see if someone could make a battery pack that would fit rechargeable AA batteries and still charge using the esame contacts as the official pack does.
