Even when the film is gone, I still tend to slip around a bit on the board when hand paddling. I think it's because I prefer not wearing a wetsuit or board shirt so my sun lotion causes me to slide around. Any suggestions?

Noob bodyboarder here. I could not paddle my new board today without it flying out from beneath me.
Count me in. I couldn't paddle out without losing my board. So frustrating, dangerous when all you have is fin power.
I feel like a fucking kook but I’ve always waxed the belly area my whole life and haven’t had any problems shifting weight.
