Allow me to ruin the joke by *over* explaining it, I'm willing to jump in front of this bullet and be "that guy." A keg resembles a metal barrel used to store beer/ale/lager. Usually, any highly carbonated alcoholic beverage excluding champaign. Like a barrel, an overweight persons belly can bulge out, giving them a silhouette similar to a barrel. Now a six pack refers to the six abdominal muscles that show when you're extremely physically fit. It _also_ refers to a standardized quantity of small single serving cans/bottles of beer/ale/lager. If you bring a six pack, only five people have have a drink (including you) but if you bring a keg, many more people will enjoy a drink. Essentially, it's a cheeky way of saying that a big belly is no issue.
