- Explore this exotic Asian theme park and thrill to its world class dark ride "Tomorrow Never Dies" based on the James Bond movie of the same name. Tour the urban headquarters of the evil Eliot Carver and then board Q’s specially altered maintenance vehicle. Thanks - James bond movies make great source materials for theme rides. I'm totally sick of doing James Bond now and looking to do something different next time, but maybe I'll do more James Bond in the future. I do often feel like its my job. I spent 80 hours (somehow?) on Planet Coaster last week which was more than I worked! I think if I got paid, it would ruin the enjoyment though.

That does it Brad, your not human....or you have a ton of clones building these amazing rides for you. Don't know how you do it with all the detail and sound editing in such short record times. But every time I watch your rides I'm constantly blown away!
Thanks - I think this one took something like 4 months elapsed so it actually was quite a long time. I was wondering if it was ever going to get finished :). This one took forever because I had to build nearly all the buildings from scratch - There is zero representation of Vietnamese/Thai/Chinese urban houses on Steam, and I needed a ton of them. I basically found the filming location (Bangkok, Thailand stands in for Saigon, Vietnam) and went through the key areas in google maps to get ideas for as many buildings as possible - I then augmented that with trying to reconstruct some of the buildings from the movie (which are more Chinese looking and I couldn't really find anyplace in the real Bangkok). The sound editing went pretty fast - I'd say I did that over 3-4 days with maybe 1-2 hours each day.
Hey wait a minute - I see I posted my last ride only 2 months ago. Somehow I thought it took 4 months to build this ride, but it must have only been 2. I guess it was record time after all. :)
BTW - I got my ideas for sound editing from your original work on your Tron ride - You were a great influence in releasing that with all the sound quotes!

Great job on the new JB experience coaster/ride. I'm amazed you actually built the stealth ship.
Thanks - The stealth ship interior took a while, but the exterior was the real challenge. I tried many different techniques before settling on the use of the curvy large space ship pieces. Although they don't fit exactly, they most closely modeled the shape and feel of the real thing. If you download the map in Steam, you will see that only the front of the ship outside is modeled. The middle and back and blank - namely because this map was starting to kill my framerate (and I have a GTX 1080ti) so I decided to leave the outside of the back portion alone.

Thanks - I didn't consider Logan's Run but it actually might be a great idea. I'm starting on another Sci-Fi themed ride now which is a risk as the movie on which its based is very slow moving.

It is called Planet Coaster and it is sold as a game but it allows you to create very sophisticated simulations

Nope - I agree the new DLC would make them better (such as by having real windows) but I'm working on a new ride.

Nope - I'm doing another ride based on a sci-fi movie - I'm using the new DLC pieces.
