    This ride looks like it took YEARS to create! So much attention to
    detail (and so much detail)! I knew we were in for a helluva ride when I
    saw the pyramid entry, but I never expected all THIS. The story is so immersive, and the "rain" effect puts it over the top! I may be a little biased because I LOVE "Blade Runner," but I think this is my favorite PC dark ride!

      Thanks for the compliments! - It took about a month and a half, and I was able to use many postings from others to save time (for instance the sky scraper buildings were postings of others).

    I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c beams glitter in the darkness at Tannhausen gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain.

    You did it again Brad! An amazing creation! Your TRON was so good, but I think I like this one even more! So much detail and the music and movie quotes fit in really well! Your interior themes were top notch as well. Thanks for the awesome ride with your Blade Runner Sir! -Tommy

      Thanks - I was definitely inspired by your Tron custom audio so I decided to add it in this one. This was my first try at the custom audio and I didn't really know what I was doing (and was anxious to get this posted and "done"). I learned a lot though. I almost feel like I should redo the audio it and make it better, but I'm SO sick of this now and ready to move onto some new project. :)

      Thanks - I'm considering a remake. As popular as this video is, I see many issues with the creation (I made it when Planet Coaster was less capable, and I was less capable in using it)

      That's awesome, I saw it 3 years after release, the same year Back to the Future came out, 14 year old me really believed we would have flying cars by now, 2019 seemed so far :)

      Thanks - My older son (who is 15) is a Blade Runner nut (even though he wasn't born when it came out :) ) and suggested I do a Blade Runner ride. He insisted that it had to have a lot of rain and mist as well as dark creepy lighting to capture the feel. Luckily, the lighting effects in Planet Coaster (assuming you put a big mountain over your ride) are outstanding. Its amazing how cool you can make things look.

    Fun fact side note: Blade Runner and the Alien franchise exist in the same universe. Tyrell is the direct competitor in artificial lifeforms against Weyland-Yutani. Tyrell went the "replicant" route attempting to make his AIs for human while Weyland made his more like an android.

      Wow never knew that but did notice that the display on the spinner dash was from the Alien movie.

      Thanks - I spent a lot of time tweaking the sets and comparing to shots from the movie (except having to modify them so I could fit the coaster as well as fill in areas missing in the movie)

    I hope Ridley will remove the happy ending for this one ..

    • @BradHamiltonVideo
      @BradHamiltonVideo  7 лет назад +1

      Ha ha - Actually in the director's cut of the movie, there is no happy ending. It goes immediately from a drab scene in Deckard's apartment to the closing credits, making it (purposefully) unclear what happens. I chose to use the primary theatrical release ending for the ride because it is easiest for people to understand.

    • @88feji
      @88feji 7 лет назад

      hahaha .. I'm a big fan of BR .. BIG .. you did a great job, it would be great if its turned into a real ride ..

    • @BradHamiltonVideo

      Unfortunately no - Planet Coaster doesn't support VR - You can view it in VR goggles, but its just a virtual 2d screen.
