The Vault is a secure place for all human beings after the atomic bomb has fallen on earth. But this time the danger is inside the Vault. Mister Handy tells you that some turbines in the upper level of the Vault are broken. The pressure in the Vault will increase and toxic gas will leak out of the ventilation system polluting the air in the Vault. If the turbine is not going to be repaired, no one is able to live in the Vault anymore.
You are technician and have to repair the broken turbine. On your way into the depths of the Vault you notice that the problem is much worse than expected. With each new step in direction of the broken turbine the air is more toxic and you can see gas leaking out many tubes. You have to try to reach the scene of accident as fast as you can. But be prepared: Once you have started your journey, there will be no way back...
The VAULT - A Fallout Story is created with Planet Coaster (Frontier Developments) and inspired by the Fallout game series (Bethesda). It´s a high speed thrilling darkride spinnung coaster by Maurer&Söhne with many special effects and a scary soundtrack.

This is mind blowing, it literally felt like a ride straight out of Disney or Universal.
Being a fan of the game...that was freakin' awesome. A friend of mines put me in a chair and was moving the chair while I experienced this thru a VR head set. I was screaming my head off. My friends were laughing at me. Love the adventure.
Oh my god this was so worth the wait, you've pushed the boundaries of what is possible with this game with an incredible build and some simply amazing editing. Great work as always!

Holey Moley!! As a player of both Fallout games and Planet Coaster this really blew my mind! Great job on the ride. I'm still learning the ins and outs of the game so I can hardly fathom how you built such an elaborate setup. I'll be sure to grab it up in the workshop.

Yes, you´re right. Launch is reverse footage and all animated doors and objects are chroma keyer. The ride took me more time out game than ingame

Thank you a lot, Sir! I used many blue and green screens depending on the lighting as well as video effects for example the mask tool for animating objects (stop motion) etc.

With the new update that allows video you can have a little room where your guests watch the Fallout video the audio is from. That would be very cool.
