On my first Fallout 4 play through, I was speeding through while the Minutemen where talking about the power armor and mini gun, I didn't hear that, so I didn't get them. So here comes out little Connor, with a Pipe Pistol, 10 millimeter pistol, and a Laser Musket with 12 ammo to fight a giant Deathclaw. This is my first Fallout game so I didn't know what a Deathclaw was. So I was hiding in a building, crapping my pants, shooting at a Deathclaw, doing virtually no damage. It took me like 45 minutes
Lol I swear to god literally every single thing u said was the same for me.......except it took me an hour to kill the deathclaw because I ran out of ammo
One thing I noticed about Deathclaws: if you use a weak enough weapon, you can break off their tails after a while. Once the tails have dropped, the game still treats them as part of the living Deathclaw, so you can keep attacking the tail at your leisure until the Deathclaw is dead.

Had Pack Brahmin and Provider fall out of the sky right in front of me in my Starlight Drive In settlement. Not to mention the dpzens of times they get stuck on roofs, in walls in otherwise closed rooms and inadvertendly ruin your carefully placed decorations... unless you use a mod for that. Because of that, I do barely any decorations.
I actually got the Deathclaw glitch by accident, in the Survival mode. Thank god for that. I was just thinking "how the f*#k am i going to take this thing down?!", then bam, glitch happens.
You could always just hide in some of the buildings then shoot him while he tries to get at you. Sometimes he'll run off somewhere, but you can lure him back by just leaving said building.
Nardo :3 still false. It's barley a weapon considering most of the time you have to freeze people then shoot them. It weighs too much, and its ammo isnt very common

I backed up just to see him slide over to me, wave his hands and do this lil ballerina thing, while having a pistol stuck on his ring finger. I was laughing like stupid doing back-circles with Hackock literally dancing to chatch up. Still can not top seeing mama murphy jump from the roof to fly away on a car.

The carry weight companion glitch can also be used with bodies and containers. If you command them to inspect a body or container, they take everything. Sometimes you have to make them do it multiple times to get everything, but they will do it.
When I started my first profile the deathclaw at the start glitched into it's little hole, shot up into the air and died from fall damage. all before I could even get to it.
Thatguy 4643 I was shooting a raider, shot and blew up a car, and apparently that killed the deathclaw before I even knew he was there, with the pistol found in the vault and no power suit/minigun. This game is broken af but fun as hell anyway.

I mean common glitches every game has glitches but Bethesda games have a lot if glitches so many that it's impossible to go through a play through and not run into at least 20 I started a game of fallout 4 a few days ago and I got a glitch where when you do the quest "jewel of The Commonwealth " when arriving at diamond city the security would randomly start shooting at me and my companion would try to kill me as well
+Pink Dreemurr These are just the ps4 version lol, pc version has an entire quarry that loads random bad textures over the proper ones, theres a caravan with some power armour in it with a master lock on the door you can just teleport into by entering the power armour through the window, empty out the caravan and fast travel out of with a new set of power armour.
In my game I killed a gunner and reentered the room and the arm glitched through the floor started spinning so I recorded it I of course gave him an honorable death with the thirst zapper

Kind of surprised there was no mentions of soft locks. I have never played Fallout 4 with jumping into a crevice and not being able to move. Can’t walk or jump because I’m considered airborne, can’t fast travel for the same reason. It is so annoying if you haven’t saved in a while and then get stuck with literally no way of moving.
I had a friend that told me about the Cryolator glitch. And I told him: "No, I doubt that glitch wasn't patched. Plus, that video you watched was probably from 3 years ago." I still will get my lockpicking skill up to Master. Worth it. And the splashing glitch? Seen it many, many times. Especially with Feral Ghouls or Mirelurks.
It's the water level, all the water is placed at a certain height of the map and all the land is above the water and all the water sections are below the water level.

Instead, for how massive games are these days and how skilled game designers are, comparing them proves modern games are way more polished. Secondly, glitches like these should have been (and probably have been) discovered by game testers. These glitches, as I said, are disgusting. I said that for a reason. There is absolutely no excuse for these. If it was just some random NPC walking through a wall once because of incorrect collision, fine. But this mess? No.
Orange Yoshi almost all clipping/bad collision is completely based on location. animation getting stuck/swim on land etc are usually very random glitches and usually can go past radar. fake reload bug has been in battlefield 3/4 now for years and its not being fixed because devs cant recreate situation correctly to find real reason behind it. and once again i think that even if they had 1000+ game testers for few years trying to find all the glitches in this game they would not have had enough time to do so. massive open world sandbox games are very very hard to get bug free. even slight adjustment early can lead to multiple seemingly random glitches no one can explain later on the development. + most of the glitches arent game breaking they can be immersion breaking but i wouldnt call swimming on land really a game breaking glitch. during my time in oblivion i only had 1 random game breaking glitch where i had to reload. i somehow got stuck to no clip mode and reload didnt fix it (ps3 version). it appears to be either very rare or even one of a kind glitch. some glitches are type that require player to make certain set of actions in certain place during just the right time to happen. even if bug requiring pretty much pure luck to happen is game breaking, its no longer type you should blame game developers for. and that infinite caps glitch? i never tough before hearing about it to even try doing the steps you need to make and i think bethesda had same sort of situation.
@@Jake-rj6ql Did you ever find out? If not, it's pretty much a situation in a game where you aren't able to progress and have to reload a save or start a New Game. Edit: A good example is saving the game where an enemy is about to kill you and you keep loading into them killing you over and over again.
Once i ran to take cover durring one of those random scuffles happen and i tried to go behind a car i was half way there when im guessing someone got shot and a peice of them phased into the car and it flipped on top of me and killed me it was the single most beautiful thing ive ever seen
Here's the most useful glitch I've encountered: The Fusion core duplication glitch. Step 1: Have a pickpocket rank of at least 2 (3 is more consistent though.) Step 2: Have access to the Prydwyn Step 3: Go inside to the main deck and find the BOS knight up against some rails (second floor, above the area where you get your free set of power armour) Step 4: Go behind the Knight and pickpocket the fusion core, auto save, and there maybe another fusion core inside the Knights inventory, Have fun duplicating and be sure to save every time you successfully pickpocket! My theory: Usually when you pickpocket a Fusion core the NPC is forced out of the power armor, if their against a wall they will simply move to an open area and leave the power armor unable to get back in, But this knight in particular somehow ignores the AI command to move to an open spot, instead the NPC just stays there in a power suit that they aren't supposed to be in but probably can't find a path to an open spot, so the game simply puts another fusion core inside the npc's inventory because the game thinks its a viable suit to be in and for a suit to be viable they need to have a fusion core in their inventory. Oh by the way I was running the XBOX ONE version of fallout 4 so it may or may not work on PC.
+BFab64 You do realize this game is huge, right? Bugs WILL be missed in all games but especially in a game of this size. So, we act as additional testers to make the game better (Or worse, depending on how you look at it), although some bugs get left in for sheer hilarity, like what happened in GTA IV (I know it's Rockstar) and the swingset glitch NEVER getting patched because it was so darn funny.
Some of the glitches I’ve encountered in 2022: - Sanctuary Hills quest from Sturges objective [Build beds for the settlers (60%)] can randomly appear on screen randomly even after completing the quest. - Sanctuary Hills has random morale drops. - Cars sometimes become death traps and if you collide with them you can be killed by collision damage. - Water sometimes doesn’t have particles from the little waves when you run or swim, but it’s moved so it looks like a ghost is following you. - Immortal Radroach. A radroach hides inside a metal bin, making it immune to bullets and melee. - NPCs standing on top of houses that can’t be normally accessed. - People getting stuck in walls.
In my game when the minutemen were walking to Sanctuary, Preston Garvey glitched a few feet through the floor and I used console commands to get to him. Then, he kept flying up and teleported back to the ground.
the frozen crow and the weird car physics happened to me too, i even have a video of these (not on youtube lol) and so is a stuck brahmin one (don't have a video but a photo)
i had this glitch recently and FO4 hasnt gotten an update in since so im tell yall it: when holding a baseball bat (ive only use a non upgraded one), holster the baseball bat and when the holstering animation starts, jump. i advise doing this in third person cause its easier, it for sure works on ps4 but idk if it works on xbox or pc what the glitch does is it makes you slide while the character acts like he has a baseball bat in his hands but he doesent :)
I found a glitch that gives you unlimited ammo. Not sure if ita 100% but if you u give your companion all the ammo in your inventory and dont change weapons what ever weapon your holding has unlimited ammo.
Well you know this glitch helps out especially with fatman. Yes i tried it last night. I used cait and valentine and it worked. Like i said its a weird glitch not really sure how it works but all i did was give them all the ammo in the inventory and somehow my 3 mini nukes turned into 999

For some reason I always got Preston and mama Murphy on the roof and sometimes other settlers.
I putted a bed in a house on the sanctuary,and the npcs that splet on it,were going on the roof,so i had to put a ladder just to get up there
I got Brahmin and settlers in cages with wasteland workshop.
i ended making a stair to go on the roof of that house to speak to npc that was always stuck there XD

+MikeyTaylorGaming I don't mind that too much, because they can patch them out after releasing the game, and they don't have to spend a whole lot of time looking for the glitches. They can just release the buggy game, let the consumer find the glitch, make a video like this one, and fix the bugs from there. Lazy? Maybe. Efficient? I think so. In any case, fancy seeing you here, man. I also enjoy your videos. :D

Usually the glitch I used to have sometimes would be the random rotating insides/arms/legs of npcs I shot or random items like boxes etc
11:30 this was the first glitch I learned, and it is SO helpful.
Kind of surprised there was no mentions of soft locks. I have never played Fallout 4 with jumping into a crevice and not being able to move. Can’t walk or jump because I’m considered airborne, can’t fast travel for the same reason. It is so annoying if you haven’t saved in a while and then get stuck with literally no way of moving.
This game has a masterful engine.

I still will get my lockpicking skill up to Master. Worth it.
And the splashing glitch? Seen it many, many times. Especially with Feral Ghouls or Mirelurks.

Why is there always water under the maps in games? I don't get it
It's the water level, all the water is placed at a certain height of the map and all the land is above the water and all the water sections are below the water level.
ikbenliam they probably just do the same thing but make the water smaller so it is still hidden.

back in the day they were mainly straight forward 2d games.
games today have glitches not because devs are lazy but because games are so fucking big that until community gets to put down atleast that 10.000 hours there is no way devs could ever hope to have all glitches cleared out. game has been on steam top 3 most played of today for pretty much since it was launched so so far i think we are pretty much used easily over million hours to this game when all players combined. thats not something bethesda could do and thats why we are the ones finding many of these glitches and not bethesda.
joule400 Alright. First of all, I never said games back in the day were better and with less glitches. Instead, for how massive games are these days and how skilled game designers are, comparing them proves modern games are way more polished.
Secondly, glitches like these should have been (and probably have been) discovered by game testers. These glitches, as I said, are disgusting. I said that for a reason. There is absolutely no excuse for these.
If it was just some random NPC walking through a wall once because of incorrect collision, fine. But this mess? No.
Orange Yoshi almost all clipping/bad collision is completely based on location. animation getting stuck/swim on land etc are usually very random glitches and usually can go past radar. fake reload bug has been in battlefield 3/4 now for years and its not being fixed because devs cant recreate situation correctly to find real reason behind it.
and once again i think that even if they had 1000+ game testers for few years trying to find all the glitches in this game they would not have had enough time to do so. massive open world sandbox games are very very hard to get bug free. even slight adjustment early can lead to multiple seemingly random glitches no one can explain later on the development.
+ most of the glitches arent game breaking they can be immersion breaking but i wouldnt call swimming on land really a game breaking glitch. during my time in oblivion i only had 1 random game breaking glitch where i had to reload. i somehow got stuck to no clip mode and reload didnt fix it (ps3 version). it appears to be either very rare or even one of a kind glitch. some glitches are type that require player to make certain set of actions in certain place during just the right time to happen. even if bug requiring pretty much pure luck to happen is game breaking, its no longer type you should blame game developers for. and that infinite caps glitch? i never tough before hearing about it to even try doing the steps you need to make and i think bethesda had same sort of situation.
I love glitches that aren't soft locks. They make subsequent playthroughs so much more entertaining.

Did you ever find out? If not, it's pretty much a situation in a game where you aren't able to progress and have to reload a save or start a New Game.
Edit: A good example is saving the game where an enemy is about to kill you and you keep loading into them killing you over and over again.

Once i ran to take cover durring one of those random scuffles happen and i tried to go behind a car i was half way there when im guessing someone got shot and a peice of them phased into the car and it flipped on top of me and killed me it was the single most beautiful thing ive ever seen

9:54 the floating glitch happens with weapons in Skyrim too, mostly two-handed , I know because it always happens to me
Here's the most useful glitch I've encountered: The Fusion core duplication glitch.
Step 1: Have a pickpocket rank of at least 2 (3 is more consistent though.)
Step 2: Have access to the Prydwyn
Step 3: Go inside to the main deck and find the BOS knight up against some rails (second floor, above the area where you get your free set of power armour)
Step 4: Go behind the Knight and pickpocket the fusion core, auto save, and there maybe another fusion core inside the Knights inventory, Have fun duplicating and be sure to save every time you successfully pickpocket!
My theory: Usually when you pickpocket a Fusion core the NPC is forced out of the power armor, if their against a wall they will simply move to an open area and leave the power armor unable to get back in, But this knight in particular somehow ignores the AI command to move to an open spot, instead the NPC just stays there in a power suit that they aren't supposed to be in but probably can't find a path to an open spot, so the game simply puts another fusion core inside the npc's inventory because the game thinks its a viable suit to be in and for a suit to be viable they need to have a fusion core in their inventory.
Oh by the way I was running the XBOX ONE version of fallout 4 so it may or may not work on PC.

+BFab64 You do realize this game is huge, right? Bugs WILL be missed in all games but especially in a game of this size. So, we act as additional testers to make the game better (Or worse, depending on how you look at it), although some bugs get left in for sheer hilarity, like what happened in GTA IV (I know it's Rockstar) and the swingset glitch NEVER getting patched because it was so darn funny.
***** All engines have bugs, and take an EXTREME amount of time to create, especially today.
Some of the glitches I’ve encountered in 2022:
- Sanctuary Hills quest from Sturges objective [Build beds for the settlers (60%)] can randomly appear on screen randomly even after completing the quest.
- Sanctuary Hills has random morale drops.
- Cars sometimes become death traps and if you collide with them you can be killed by collision damage.
- Water sometimes doesn’t have particles from the little waves when you run or swim, but it’s moved so it looks like a ghost is following you.
- Immortal Radroach. A radroach hides inside a metal bin, making it immune to bullets and melee.
- NPCs standing on top of houses that can’t be normally accessed.
- People getting stuck in walls.
I never experienced any of this. Probably because I used the unofficial patch from day one. It sure looks hilarious though. xD

In my game when the minutemen were walking to Sanctuary, Preston Garvey glitched a few feet through the floor and I used console commands to get to him. Then, he kept flying up and teleported back to the ground.

i had this glitch recently and FO4 hasnt gotten an update in since so im tell yall it: when holding a baseball bat (ive only use a non upgraded one), holster the baseball bat and when the holstering animation starts, jump.
i advise doing this in third person cause its easier, it for sure works on ps4 but idk if it works on xbox or pc
what the glitch does is it makes you slide while the character acts like he has a baseball bat in his hands but he doesent :)

I found a glitch that gives you unlimited ammo. Not sure if ita 100% but if you u give your companion all the ammo in your inventory and dont change weapons what ever weapon your holding has unlimited ammo.

Well you know this glitch helps out especially with fatman. Yes i tried it last night. I used cait and valentine and it worked. Like i said its a weird glitch not really sure how it works but all i did was give them all the ammo in the inventory and somehow my 3 mini nukes turned into 999
