Thanks for this! Saved me a lot of time. I didn’t use it super early on so I didn’t end up needing the eidolon but your technique for imperilga to improve chances of death and finish off ochus helped a bunch. Took 2-3 attempts. (There may have been some pausing after death took to make sure I didn’t mess it up!) 😅
Thank you for this! I was finally able to pull it off, only difference was I used Snow with Paladin instead of Fang because of the HP difference was around a full thousand making it easier to maintain his health.
I love strategies like this. I've never been able to beat Neochu or the two Raktavijas. And, of course, I've never fought Atticus because of the damn Neochu
Oh my god, at 2:37 when they all start yelping is hilarious. Also I just realized that their name, Picochu, sounds a lot like Pikachu lol. It's also funny how Ochu/Neochu uses Pokemon moves, like Screech, Pollen (Cotton Spore), and Seed Dispersal (Leech Seed).
You cannot get it in Chapter 11, you have to go through Eden first, then get to Orphan's Cradle, then a portal back to both Eden and Gran Pulse will appear, now you go back to Pulse and teleport yourself to Oerba. Then, go to where the abandoned school is go upstairs where the cieth's stone is. The mission will tell you is in Archylte Steppe, the first time only accessible through riding a Chocobo (you have to do mission 14 to get the Chocobos)

For every buff you put onto the enemy the percentage goes up by 1% each buff. Peril, Slow, Dispel etc.. gets you around 5-6% chance of landing.

This method barely works I've been at it for almost an hour I think the death odd spells is ridiculous
It has about 1% odd of killing, apparently it increases with debuffs by 1% each.
Sadly, Neochu is only vulnerable to Imperil.
