Greetings to you Maya & Halima from Nubian region of Sudan.. i love the way you explore the possitive side of our great and beautiful continent of Afrila. Keep the priceless job that even sellouts have NOT done to afrika yet. Only one thing we need to pay attention to in africa is how the destructive arab culture and names imposed into our own while arabs themselves hate and feel jealous about ours. No arab named their new born with an african name. I said it bcz this beautiful and intelligent lady's name is Halima which drived from arab name. I understant the fact she's a muslim but being a muslim doesnt prohibit using afrikan originated name. As a sudanese who understant the arab mentality well , let me to say that theyre worst than those who colonised us. They were the first to interduce slavery into our continent. Search for black indigenous of Mauritanian enslaved by arabs.
. We sudanese overthrew an islamist regime funded by arabs to arabize us. We sudanese then united with ethiopia against arabs who dont want ethiopia build its renissance Dam but now arabs are backing egypt up against ethiopia bcz if ethiopia develops means all of africa will follow suits. Facts. Lets throw this culture to the dustbin and be proud of our own. Burden my English

By the way she speaks English, she must come from a middle to upper class background. The average Northener has very little Western education, therefore their command of English is at a much lower level. This is no average Northener, don't be fooled, by her modest demeanor.

Thanks for your reply @@ay1ism, it's always good to talk and share new perspectives 😃. Money doesn't always mean inspiration for me. Yes, Folorunso Alakija is incredibly inspiring but so too are women like Halime. So many African women like our sisters, daughters, cousins, nieces, mothers, grandmothers, etc. are doing amazing things and their success should be celebrated too. If you read the things that inspire me most about Halima it is more than just being a business woman. That is great -- but the true wonder to me is every one who faces adversity and comes out full of grace.

We Africans, take farming for granted, because we don't realize...it is one of the HIDDEN SECRET money maker in the world. Even Aliko Dangote, the richest black man in the world said, agriculture in Africa is a $1 trillion potential industry, waiting to be tapped, by those who see it. And here's the quote of what he told investors in 2017, “Agriculture, agriculture, agriculture. Africa will become the food basket of the world.” I hope you got that. Imagine, what he said.
