🇯🇲Glad to see you continue to seek and highlight these nuggets of African success.
Those turkey berries are known in Jamaica as susumber.
It’s cooked-up with codfish, coconut milk being the base.
When it’s cool it has a purplish glow which is interpreted as signs of mineral irons.
Empowerment & employment of our African sisters.
Agriculture with its early morning rise, long back-breaking days in the sun wearing dirty clothes have never been the domain of youngsters, while they complain of high unemployment.
Just like the government advocating and incentivizing the year of return, what about the year back to the soil?

I grew my own seasoning herbs, grind them and put it in the refrigerator and use as I need, I must look for this berry though I don't think I know it. I'm in Trinidad🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹

In truth the colonial nations of Europe have all ways knew this about Africa, as a frontier man I'm believing GOD, that China, the IMf, a avery other will succeed in continuing to take advantage of Africans in default to bank loans, resulting in taking land resources and ocean front ports, Aman to Africa industrial independence. 🤔✊👊be aware to not default on eny loan is Godly for my fellow Africaneers .Peace and love, One love baby face Woda Maya to Africa the Final frontier of world trade amongst themselves. James in America Chicago. 💖💝💌

Proud of you for the work you are doing, bringing a slice of Africa to the world.
I am very proud of this young lady and thank you for bringing back the healing practices of the ancestors that we have been forgetting. So many people, especially girls, are now suffering from this anemic condition... so it is good to find a natural remedy.
We call that susumber in jamaica, and we never used it much because we don't know the benefit of the plants around us

We have those berries in Jamaica; they are mostly eaten by birds. But, we sometime cook them with rice, and we use the leaves to wash dishes. Today, the Rastafarians use them in most of their dishes.
