Another amazing story. One thing I have come to appreciate most about African success stories is that they are people-oriented success stories. African will always put people before profits. Agriculture is back born of our Kenyan Economy 🇰🇪🇰🇪
And Tourism
Another amazing story. One thing I have come to appreciate most about African success stories is that they are people-oriented success stories. African will always put people before profits. She could have bought a machine to harvest these apples more efficiently but she chose to employ people instead. To add value to their lives instead of just chasing the profits. This, I would suggest should be the central approach to our growth as a people. People first then profits. Thank you for the continued inspiration @wodemaya.
Let's us pray her workers don't take that for granted
My father used to grow fruits in Kenya from 1970s. ADC did a lot of projects in farming but corruption stagnanted these processes. Kenya is one of the blessed country where we grow from rice, wheat, fruits found in the northern hemisphere, you name it.
Rice grows in Kenya too ..in kirinyaga county not far from this Apple farm in laikipia county....the region around mt Kenya we can grow anything
Anything can grow in Africa we just need knowledge motivation and money to start 😊

Growing up in the Cook Islands, a country in the South Pacific, people thought it was impossible to grow apples there too due to the hot climate, but my grandmother (an English horticulturalist) grew apples on the island of Mangaia and people were shocked! And I found, it tasted sweeter and crunchier compared to the apples here in NZ lol.
Cook Islands. Any one from PNG .? Is there someone in Paris God growing apple. I heard some one in Goroka , at Kainantu, had a bearing tree.
