#JAMES 4:6 GOD GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE BUT THE PROUD HE RESISTETH!
This woman have more courage and will power and balls more than alot of these individuals who call themselves men in todays world. Respect for highlighting her and much respect to Jessie herself, need more women like you.
You have really inspired me and I am 80ys young I'm starting my garden in my backyard.Wish me good luck,
and they have the nerve to steal from her!
Jesse I told you to mix the pesticides together in a container then use two soft drink cover in the sprayer and spray the cabbage,it is a blast.please try this
You will never find another harder working young lady than this one. Jamaica need more of you.
What a smart, beautiful, innovative, hardworking person she is! What an inspiration to the nation as a whole. It feels incredible to know we still have conscious ambitious young people like farmer Jessie among us. What an incredible story of hope, hard work and determination. Loving every second of this story..
Couldn't agree more!
Inspiring us all in Kenya .....hard work pays, bless Jessy in all she aspires to accomplish.
Supporting this woman 💯 Wishing her nothing but good will and blessings in what she does here!!!
I love this work that sis is doing! Tell her that she can let some of her cabbage go to seed and then she can plant those seeds and not really need to buy more as that process continues. The seeds that she grows from her plants will be better adapted to her farm's climate and will do better and be more hardy to weather stresses.
Ok thank you
I am so PROUD of her 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. Jessie continue doing good ❤️ 🙏🏽 blessings
You go girl I'm so proud of you ❤
Love her. She is the REAL farmer girl Jess.
Yes she is..
Greetings from a Jer-Mercian in New York.
I let the plants teach me too. It’s helped me grow food in a studio apartment. Some of the people in my family says it can’t be done even though this is going to be the 5th year.
However I have inspired 3 groups of family members to start gardening. Starting a community garden is the next step. I have way more seeds then space to plant them.
It’s taught me that a lot of stuff I’m told can’t be done isn’t true. And that even when some people see that it CAN be done they still don’t believe. Sometimes they even seem resentful. 🤨
Meanwhile the food I grow gives me more energy than vitamins. Plus it’s fun experimenting with things like compost tea to make my Swiss chard and lettuce taste better, growing cherry tomatoes upside down without a trellis in a soda bottle by the window, etc. I could go on forever but I don’t want to brag. 😂
A few of the benefits of growing indoors is, I can grow year round and garden in the middle of the night if I want. Plus being the tomato lady and eating varieties I can’t find in the store makes me feel RICH.
I don’t know how it is in Jamaica but in America our store bought tomatoes taste like disappointment. 😝
Sorry about the long comment. I don’t know many gardeners in New York I can talk about gardening frugally with. Most of the people I know who garden the way we do are online.
Good luck with your farm.
❤
I would love to see your garden.
Beautiful strong black women with ambition presuing her goal God richly bless you.
Thank you Dwight, for this inspiring video!! Lawd, we love it! 🙌🏽 Blessings to you and Jessie as well. Please let her know that planting any kind of beans (pigeon peas or any kind of peas/beans) between the cabbages is VERY good for strengthening the crop, because it feeds nitrogen into the soil (like natural fertilizer). Interplanting with garlic or onions helps keep away cabbage moths. Also, potatoes attract the pests (beetles and slugs) AWAY FROM the cabbage. Marigolds also help as they deter pests like aphids and whiteflies, and they secrete a chemical that helps to keep root nematodes from eating the crop. If Jessie wants to learn more, just research "companion planting with cabbage" or "permaculture." Bless up! --from Jamaicans in the Carolinas, cheering on your good work! 🇯🇲
thank you very much, that is amazing advise.
@@jamaica_uncut you're so welcome. 🙏🏽🖤💛💚

proud of this hardworking, inspiring, go getter queen Jessie, much love from Kenya.
I love Jessie's story, so so much. It is not easy being a single mother and a farmer, while in school. My dad was a farmer and taught agricultural science, and I grew up on a farm. Even in school, I used to get teased and called "country girl". I ended up becoming a lawyer but in my spirit, I've always been a farmer, so I bought land and started my farm two years ago. I'm also working on a Master's degree right now in organic farming. Being a lawyer still pays the bills, but it is my intention to make my farm sustainable because I love this work so much. It's who I am. I had to laugh at Jessie talking about the water boots because I had a friend come visit one time and we went into town while I was wearing my full farmer gear...water boots, hat, everything. We definitely need more women in farming and I would highly recommend entering the field to any woman who is interested.👩🏾🌾
Girl love what you're doing, teaching and showing others that they don't have to sit and take take take, but do something productive with their life.
BIG UP YUSELK Jessie.

Watching from Kenya 🇰🇪. Good work, you are inspiring young people also i grow Cabbages.
Jess, if you leave the part of the cabbage that you pulled out of the ground it will grow what is called Brussel Sprouts they are a vegetable, cooked either crunchy, soft, or somewhere in-between tiny little cabbages. They cost a lot in the UK especially at Christmas time.
BIG UP farmer girl Jessie!! Can’t beat Beauty & Brains, she make it look/sound good/easy, love her passion & energy, very inspirational! Giving BIG HIGH ENERGY VIBEZ sis Bless up dnt stop Queen❣️🫶🏽
Wow you inspired me ,love you girl ❤

Ive learn so much from farmer Jes. Very beautiful and passionate lady.
Blessed Lady! So proud of her!
Watching from Tanzania in Africa. So fascinating! Come-on girl, just keep doing what you do and believe me millions are staring at you.
You reminded me of my daughter , she's not a big farmer like you , but she plants a little of everything in the back yard , and takes care of them, there's time when she gets some help , but for the most part, she takes care of the whole yard , pulling up weeds ,but if you don't know her you couldn't tell , she's all that , some people even wonder why she live so far away in the country .Totally forget to say she raised 3 lovely girls who did well in school on to college , so I'd say to anyone just do you , while you give thanks always to the most high Jehovah God 😊
Jessie, WOG aka Woman of God, Farmer, God is on your side. Continue to acknowledge him. And he will keep you in ALL seasons no matter how it looks. I am encouraged by your passions, FARMER AND NURSE, amen

We agree!
This is awesome and you did a good job with your interview. She needs her own RUclips channel 💯
This is great. She is inspiring. Like how she contextualize her statements. It is clear the her mentality is not common.
So proud of you has a young woman keep doing what you doing Blessings
What a very ambitcious woman my god i am so proud of this young lady be bless my princess
Wonderful story I love this young lady she is doing very good
Nice , positive attitude. I agree with you -- take pride in what you do, your farm is your workplace. Wishing you much success. YOU'RE AN INSPIRATION ! BLESSINGS !
The downside of some Jcan upbringing is that entrepreneurship in farming is not seen as a thing to do. We are taught to go to school and get a job. This farming you are doing is better than any job working for someone else. With this you are your own boss and the kink of money you can make is much more than a lot of jobs can pay. Fulfill that goal of a nursing degree if you must but do not underestimate the potential of the farming you are now doing..
Am so impressed wow!! Girl you going places,I hope many others will Be motivated to be their own boss ,this is really inspiring,God bless you and your Hustle💯🙏🏽 ❤
Thank you so much!!
