Sleeved in 2021 just started zepbound due to weight gain I feel was from loosing my parents. Been on it for 1 month and have lost 14 lbs. I lost a total of 125lbs with the sleeve put back on 20 within this year consulted with Dr. A and I'm greatly appreciative that he cares about his patients even 3 to 4 years later. Thank you for all you do.
I would like to add that there is no quick fix. Heal the mind as well!
I Started at 509lbs lost 69lbs then had sleeve surgery August 2023.. I'm currently 230lbs 13 months post op.. Never going back 😎👍
I’m two years and four months out. 405 to 180. Sleeved also. Regain is not an option for me! God is good!
Three years out from VSG and on Tirzeptide. I gained some weight back after my mother got very sick and losing her in April. It doesn't help that I am 57 and weight loss is slow. I lost the 15 pounds gained during my mother's illness and death. The med has been a game changer!
Excellent info. God bless you and all you do for us
Thank you, Dr. A., for this medical information. Is this something that you can prescribe to your patients who’ve had gastric sleeve surgery with you?
Thank you for discussing this Dr A!
First anniversary was 9/1. I've been on zepbound three months now to maintain. I lost 120!
VSG in Oct 3023 358#. Started Zepbound in January 2024. 10 months out down 179#. 🎉 Shuts off the food noisevand greatly increases satiety. I've never had satiety!
Question? I had my sleeve June 18th and was still given ozempic afterwards for diabetes, but I haven't been taking it. Is it safe so soon after surgery?
Thank you for the very informative information ❤
I’m 3 years post sleeve. Been on ozempic as well for the last year and half. I’m down 215 lbs now. It’s been a game changer. Maybe I’ll start in the gym and exercising now as well.
Thanks doctor A for your efforts
Thanks
Very interested, but you already know that! ❤️
Can you make more videos like this for the vsg community?
We have questions such as is it ok to get off and on the injections as needed to lose weight post vsg?
I’m was sleeved in 2021 with you 😊 and lost 45lbs and did not reach my end goal because I got pregnant and put 15lbs back on that I cant seem to lose. I have about 35lbs remaining to lose. Just started ozempic 3 days ago and don’t know if it can be combined with intermittent fasting.
Thanks
I had sleeve surgery in 2021 and lost all my weight. About a year after surgery, the food noise started coming back and I started regaining. My doctor allowed me to try Zepbound. I stay on a low dose and use it to manage the food noise only. Works like a miracle for me. The only downside is now that I am at a healthy weight, insurance won't cover it. I have to pay out-of-pocket.
