We're on a stairway to hell! Ah yes more father son classic pixelated survival horror action, great seeing you evolve as a team on certain mechanics/tactics as the tale unfolds, and the cognitive juices flowing with puzzle ponderings a plenty. The wee infected tree Adder ambush reaction gave me a good laugh.🐍 Well done on all fronts guys look forward to the next episode.👁☣🕷

It's so great to see you genuinely enjoying your playthrough, It's like rediscovering an old movie you'd thought you had forgotten. The fireworks I heard in the guardhouse was new for me, though! 🤣
Good to see you guys again playing Resident Evil. Can't wait to see the next part.
Some tips:
Combine all your handgun-bullets, and do the same thing for other bullets/ammo of the same kind, so you can carry all your bullets in just a single inventory slot.
Don't let the zombies get close to you when using the handgun. Don't trap yourself between dogs and don't let them surround you. Aim quick and shoot at the right moment. This game is designed to be played with a game controller 🎮 though.
You didn't check around the rooms enough so you have missed lots of stuff.
To kill the Plant 42, you can use V-JOLT on its root to weaken it and then fire a few grenades to completely destroy it...
To create a V-JOLT, first you need to unlock the chemical room using the keypad near the door! And then pick up empty bottles, fill them with water, chemicals, and mix them as required! (read your files)

This is fun watch. Watching you guys going through the game for your first time. I don't see alot playthroughs like this anymore. Instead I see the opposite. Gamer speedrun this game with ease. Forgetting the first time how difficult it was going through this game. Learning the puzzle and looking at excitement when solving it. Remind me when My Sister and I first played through this game with Jill. Brings back some good memories.

Thanks Jack, yeah those boxes, up and down the ladder. We could have cut that out, or trimmed more, but that was the honest way it all went down. We all feel the frustration!
This series is bringing me so much joy, I’m loving watching you guys experience this classic for the first time. A thing to note is that there’s a pretty big difference between easy (Jill) and hard (Chris) in terms of things you actually have to complete in the game; some of the information you’re finding is for tasks that Jill doesn’t actually have to complete but are required in Chris’ version of the game. In Jill’s version, sometimes the best path forward is to just throw yourself into danger and hope for the best! Can’t wait for the next episode!

29:19, 37:50, 38:12, 42:22 and some laughs after are just gold!!😂 That plant's vine getting me from under the floor scared me the same way and I didn't even get to use the statue to cover the hole… understood it only after Barry killed the Plant 42, haha. I don't watch full playthroughs since a long time (I used to watch them a lot), but yours are so good I'm watching them from start to end. I'd definitely watch you two playing other RE titles aswell 👍
About the pool puzzle I don't know what you have to do, but I'm playing the remake now and in that version you have to pay attention to the symbols, numbers, and colors of the balls to get the code to open a door later on.

Ps as a little kid i thought wesker was really cool, I'd put on sunglasses and quote Wesker all the time, around the house & at school. XD

Aww this is just such a treat to watch. It's like playing the game all over again for the first time.
Jill’s voice artist was Una Kavanagh, nobody knows even the voice director or Shinji Mikami who she is.
He previously worked on Aladdin and Goof Troop. Voice artists were not suppose to know about the project name at the time of recording in August/September 1995. Sometimes voice actors have never met each other because of the date differences.

Guess I’m not going to sleep for an hour or so let’s do this guys 👍edit: I’ll drop you a little tip just because it’s quite obscure and something you won’t find without a guide so here goes: in the room with the bees there’s a door with a keypad next to it, examine the key pad and the code for it is the numbers on the pool balls, makesure to empty your inventory out to pick up the glass bottles inside you’ll then need to mix them in the order that’s stated in the file you picked up, doing this will create the v-jolt to put on the roots, there’s 2 possible outcomes for plant 42 boss fight you either enter the room and fight it normally with your bullets, fire works best or you use the v jolt and I won’t spoil what happens when you do but it saves wasting ammo, but either way your goal now is to make the v jolt in the lab room in the bee hive area to get what’s inside the plant 42 room you can’t progress any further until plant 42 is dead so remember : pool balls for number code - bee area room with control panel - make space in inventory for glass bottles have a few slots open - mix v jolt according to the file - use on roots then head back to plant 42 after doing so 👍 good work today guys nice progression your really getting into the thick of it now I can’t wait for you to see the rest of the game still a lot to do love these episodes much love and respect to you both, stay safe and stay alert!

1:18:01 funnily enough, in RE2 there is another experiment with a plant infected with the virus, and being a continuation of the Plant 42 experiment, the new one is called Plant 43.
to poison plant 42 you put it in a bathtub the drain it, otherwise flame rounds work great.

I've been catching up with the series after watching your interview with Andy on biohazard declassified and its been amazing to see so many of the same reactions in lex as I had playing this game with my dad the same terror when escaping enemies when close to death the joy of finding a safe room or the frustration of mixing herbs too early it brings back many memories and it's been great to see the original Albert wesker and lexonal experience this game for the first time in the same way we did by getting frustrated moving boxes 😂

Little tip, you'll soon be asked to make choices with your partner, Barry in Jill's storyline. Be a trusty friend and don't doubt him, if you don't want something bad to happen to him.
Notice there's a keypad near one of those door in the bees room. Well, the number to open it is concealed by that pool's table riddle. In that room you'll find everything to make the V-Jolt. Or you can try to fight Plant-42 with your guns, flame rounds and the launcher are the most effective. Your choice.
Come on Lexonal and Pablo, keep it up! That red jewel is soon coming!

Really fun play through guys! Another helpful tip for ammo. Bring more than one gun, ie Fire one magnum bullet, and just use the shotgun or pistol.
We will take that on board AFW. What's a magnum bullet?

@@PabloKuntz Absolutely you should get the full RE1 experience! With Chris and maybe the Director's Cut version (NOT the Dual Shock version wich has an horrible soundtrack, lol).
And yeah, the RE1 Remake, HD or not, is a must! The very BEST videogame remake of all time, you have to play it, just for the atmosphere and added content alone. It's a 2002 game but thanks to pre-rendered backgrounds it looks unbelievable and like a modern game, a technical marvel.
@@fistoftulkas7335 I can vouch for, second that opinion, completely agree and confirm that is indeed the best way to go if you guys wanna venture a bit more into the world of Resident Evil, exactly word for word true here, I couldn't of said it any better myself especially the dual shock version the soundtrack is hideous 🤣 Yh Director's cut is a very good shout, the Remake also I totally agree and think Pablo and Lexonal would thoroughly enjoy the experience🚪 😎👍🏻

Always look forward to watching you guys playing through this game, very exciting stuff indeed, and defo feeling pumped, not just because it's wesker and son but it's great to experience this nostalgic journey with you both, making great progress, this game is such a gem, and will always and forever be magical to me, the first 3 I think its because there the original Playstation 1 day's it was a pretty big deal for us gamers back in the day, nobody had ever experienced anything like it before, however I have loved the entire franchise going through the years, (the games at least) 😁 they are all pretty amazing, keep up the great work Lexonal and Pablo, might be worth checking that spider room for more clues.

Thought Id start playing all the resident evils again ( 0-6)and currently on 0 and a Wesker cut scene came on and the voice doesn't feel right now I've watched your videos 🤣 also it was me who said why so much hate for the hand gun 🤣

I really dont want to influence your playthrough, so I will just throw in some 'minor' stuff:
The map is a huge help in these games, either you cut that out or you barely use it. Its going to reduce the time wandering aimlessly around if you look up the rooms on the maps you havent been into yet and try to find out why(!!) you cant enter the rooms. In this section was one room you didnt figure out why you cant enter.
You figured out that you get some information when examining items. I dont think you noticed, but for some items you get different text depending from which angle you look at the item. So if you ever have no idea what to do with an item, examine it from all angles. Believe me on this one.
I hope you dont run out of ammo and softlock yourself (when my brother played it, we actually beat the last enemy of the game with our very last handgun bullet). The great thing about the handgun is that its always doing same damage, no matter how far away the enemy is. As long as you can keep your distance, its a useful weapon. Glad you realized the shotgun 'sucks' against the dogs (you want to be as near as possible to the enemy and even aim down for the dogs with the shotgun).
