- Hey RE community, grab some popcorn! My son (Lexonal) and I (OG Albert Wesker) hunt down those wicked hunters on our fully-loaded 6th episode in Resident Evil 1. We couldn't figure out that friggin' code but we crushed Plant 42 & more! Subscribe also to Lexonal at tiny.cc/Lexonal

Shuddy, I keep watching back that exact scene! The euphoric jubilation of the red jewel discovery to then plummeting down to earth when we realized that we could not carry any more. I'll remember this with Lexonal forever, true highlight!
I’d love to see this continue with the 2002 Resident Evil Remake!
We will definitely play the game in future. We were thinking to try Chris next though. Good idea? Too tough? Maybe I should do a poll to see what fans think.

All guns ablaze against Plant 42, Ah the first big entrance of the iconic Hunter BOWs. Nice cameo from Nelson🌳, on a personal note using Magnum rounds on zombies feels like overkill and slightly blasphemous resource management wise haha well played guys as always.😎☣👁
Yeah, the Nelson cameo was quite cute, one for the ages! We will take care on the ammo, that is coming over loud and clear. Thanks again for all, looking forward to playing this weekend!
Lexonal is a lot less lost than i expected. Younger people tend to have an hard time in this game, now he seems to have mastered the controls and is solving a lot of the puzzles himself.
That's exactly how I'd imagine Pablo being on a father & son hunting trip.

You done a good job on plant 42 regardless of not getting the code for the door, it is extremely tough to work out on first time through, it isn't too bad with Jill, but if you decide to do a Chris playthrough you won't have Barry to lend a helping 🖐🏼flamethrower 😂 and will probably benefit making the redbull V-jolt, that will get to the root of the problem, made alot of solid progress killing plant 42 and second encounter with Yawn, also the hunter's loved seeing both your reaction to them for the first time, I remember feeling that panic 😧 such a great moment in the red gemstone room solving the puzzle and then not having a free inventory slot, excitement and frustration at once 🤣 very much look forward to the next episode, you guys are awesome✌🏼😎😎👍🏻

@@PabloKuntz That's so awesome man, so glad to see that you guys are having such a fun, great time together honestly really is amazing to be on the journey with you both, absolutely is great to hear Lexonal making friends in here with the R.E community, also he deserves alot of credit as these type of games are real tough, im sure many people have given up along the way, so massive well done to him for persisting and continuing to soldier on through it against those strange creatures, defo keep up the good work.
The part at the end with the red lifts either side of the courtyard Lexonal done that part right the first time, I think it was just the game not responding when he was trying to go back down to the (shut off) waterfall, also the annoying thing is the lifts stay down or up depending on the last time you use them.

Some tips: ▼ 😅
19:21 👈 Sorry! I just forgot to say how you can combine ammo and bullets. For example: Open the chest, pick up all your handgun bullets, and close the chest. Now open the inventory, hover and select one of the handgun bullets/clips, from the menu choose combine, and then hover and select other handgun clips to apply the combine. Continue doing this until you have only one clip with all amounts of your bullets in it. (perhaps I will be posting a GIF or a very short video later)
10:01 👈 You don't have to follow a strict rule for that keypad to unlock that room; Forget about the pool table and try to push the numbers corresponding to lightless red-lamps-on-the-top to turn all of them on. And don't leave the keypad screen until it's unlocked! It takes time a little bit...
23:12 👈 Think I heard the radio beep here but never mind.
23:55 👈 (not a tip but) the water effects in the PC version looks solid without transparency just like some other effects (smoke, flame, blood, broken glass, etc,.)... Hope we get Gemini's new patch soon...

49:46 👈 Push the switch first! (Sometimes you have to check every inch of a room to learn what's going on)
1:07:00 (It's not a tip) My favorite part of the game with this awesome and creepy background music! It's haunting even more with the high quality music on the PlayStation version. 🎶 Hopefully we get all the good stuff from the other versions to PC one day. But first we need to wait until Gemini finishes his new patch for this version.
1:14:11 👈 Additionally you could pick up the second pack of explosive rounds, since you had already one pack in your inventory so it automatically would be combined...
1:23:21 👈 There's drawer AND also another IMPORTANT door in this room which you missed to check out!
1:28:02 👈 You did everything right to stop the waterfall at the first try! I'm not sure what's wrong with the elevator. 😲 Maybe you just triggered a rare glitch/bug in the game by accident? If nothing works, go back to your older saves and load the game from there so hopefully you don't encounter this 'bug' again. Once you've found the working save file, continue playing the game from there and keep that save file but delete the newer faulty saves. If still nothing works, check to see if it's the anti-virus program or other applications conflicts in your PC? (Always get your installation files from official or reliable sources, rather than re-packers or random online guides). Hope there's not a problem with the installed game files. If so, you have to reinstall the game! But first make a backup copy of the save files before installing the game, so you'll not lose your progress.
Kill the zombies with handgun and shotgun. Save the magnums for Hunter and strong enemies...
And for your next gameplay since you're getting closer to the end, just don't rush! Go and check everything and take risks and don't be afraid of dangers... Hopefully you get the best ending and an awesome prize afterwards!

Glad you finally met Wesker (yourself :D) again, I remember mentioning the "it was all I could do against those strange creatures" as one of the most memorable line in another video of yours, a couple of tips: don't bother with the keypad door, you don't need to open it and create the V-Jolt with Jill, as you could see Barry takes care of Plant 42 so you're fine without that door, I remember unlocking it by pure luck by entering random numbers on my first run, to find out I didn't really need it, different thing is if you guys decide to replay the game with Chris, in that case you'll need to unlock it and create the V-Jolt, (broken shotgun is also an item mandatory for Chris, but useless with Jill so don't bother with that either). I suggest you save magnum bullets and rounds for bosses and Hunters, I recommend the good old shotgun with zombies with the headshot trick, Lexonal is a genius, he got the waterfall/lift riddle at once, what he did was correct not sure why the lift didn't go down, perhaps it got bugged?
Big thank you Kevin, yeah we are onto episode 7 and the elevator is now working! We are making progress, just went through the 'Indiana Jones' section with that rolling rock. We film a bit more tomorrow, see how much further we get. Managed to secure one MO disk, and saw the second one too. Still not sure what to do with that red book though, where does it go? Anyway, lots of fun!!

I'm having so much fun so far! Fun fact: according to the developers the scrapbook at 1:19:17 was being compiled by Wesker. About 1:16:58 this baffled me for quite some time because it definitely seems to be implying cannibalism, but at first glance it doesn't make any sense. However recently I put some thought into it: Taking into account what we know from the keeper's diary and the messy arrangement of the countertop it's likely that someone in the last stages of the infection was already killing and eating others but was still lucid enough to attempt to cook the victims. Anyway that's my personal theory because i was never able to find any info or discussion on the subject. It's incredibly eerie isn't it? 😨

Yes! What you did with plant 42 in bypassing V-JOLT is exactly what I was hinting at when I said to throw yourself into danger last week! The V-JOLT part can be done by Jill but you can bypass it just like you did here. On Chris’ game, you have to do that part to clear. Barry comes to help Jill in ways that Chris won’t get, which is a part of what makes Jill’s game ‘easy’

@@DavidArnold1982 I’m not sure exactly how it triggers but when I played through last week the whole Rebecca section at the guardhouse didn’t happen - she was waiting in the save room terrified waiting to be rescued leaving me to fight plant 42 both phases
Flame Thrower saves you time.
Watching your last video actually made me play through this game for the very first time on my own. I have to say I still dont understand the logic of that billard puzzle, but in my game below the text "Some kind of a code..." it would give me three numbers.. something like 2 5 8 which I then put in that other room as the code. I am asking myself if there is a bit of your screen cut off or if you needed to interact with certain parts of the billard table to make those numbers show up.
You could have also brutforced the solution and just dialed in numbers until all lights were lit. While I think mixing the V-JOLT is actually a fun puzzle, I was surprised I still had to fight the plant.. and Barry didnt even show up on my playthrough.
You did great with the hunters and the snake (I actually died on that boss and thought it was the hardest boss of the game, had no idea acid rounds were so effective), but it does hurt a bit when you are using those magnum rounds on normal zombies although you got so much handgun bullets (I am a bit scared you could run out of powerful ammo).
Combining ammo does work, you just cant do it directly from the chest. This works in the remake, but not in this version of the game. You have to get those items out of the chest first and then combine them in the menu.
Like someone else already said, you did that puzzle with the elevator correct the first time. For some reason your buttons didnt seem to work.. maybe the game glitched.

Played this for the first time when I was around 12, this second part with the hunters and everything felt overwhelmingly difficult!
Oh yeah, Jolt Cola, that must be where I remember the name from. Yeah, those hunters are tricky and made me jump. Must say though, the dogs bother me the most!
There is a soft drink in Australia called Jolt and every time I see it I'm reminded of V-Jolt

Also for the elevator you solved it the first time lol not sure if the game just glitched or something but the way you did it the first time was correct lol really felt for you guys at the end thinking you got it wrong 😂 you go through out the battery in and then go back up your newly started elevator switch the water off and then go back down the way you came up the new elevator (battery one) also you guys are getting into the late game now, really hope you guys continue with the re franchise I have this strange enjoyment watching you guys play them it’s very nostalgic and also cool to see how much you have come on since the first episode you guys are really trucking along and we’re all behind you, was cool watching you guys react to wesker in the guard house I see in Pablos eyes the happiness when wesker is on screen and hearing his old performance play out properly in game as opposed to just watching clips on RUclips must be really cool, man I wish Capcom would get you back to voice him again in a remake or future title 👍 also my last hint not really a spoiler or anything but ammo stacks in this game so let’s say you have some grenade rounds on you and you come across some more you can pick up the rounds and they’ll add on to any that are not loaded in your gun if that makes sense, so if you have 6 on you (not in the gun) and you find another 6 you can still pick them up 👍 just a little pointer so you guys can hoard ammo there’s also one helmet room you missed back at the mansion (in the first hallway you see the Hunter in)

@@PabloKuntz yeah, some puzzles can be really frustrating, but the emotional payoff is so worth it, especially when you get the magnum, but be frugal with those rounds, there aren't many & you need them for the final!
For sure keep going, you guys have made excellent progress & it's been really entertaining & great to see the enthusiasm & reactions from people.
If you plan on doing other gameplay vids, I'd really like to see you guys play the remake, there's a lot of things you can take from this & also new editions to keep you on your toes! Plus it's only six years apart, you can see how far they came with it, an excellent game & deserves a critique from the OG! Much love guys ❤️

Awesome video guys! No spoilers here, but take all the shotgun shells out of the chest, then when they are in your inventory - combine them! You can store your others weapons for later and you’ll have plenty of ammo on you with only 2 slots taken up. It will save so much backtracking. You could also have picked up those grenade rounds as they would have combined with the ones you were carrying

Yo you two. I absolutely love watching you guys. Idk if anyone else has told you guys yet, but there are actually multiple endings to the game. Only the best ending is the canon one however as there are multiple "bad" endings. Are y'all open to tips and advice to try to insure you get the real true ending without spoiling it, or do you think whatever ending you get is simply what you get?
Hey hey there. Yes I have heard of multiple endings, that's pretty cool to know. Sure, send some advice so it optimizes are play through, thanks for that.
@@PabloKuntz There are 3 items called MO disks that are in the game. One is in a library on the second floor of the mansion. One is in the area under the waterfall you're about to go to. And one is in a laboratory you haven't explored yet. You'll need all of them to open a door later in the game that will save someones life. Also whenever you're able to do so or prompted to at any points, trust Barry and make selfless choices and try to work with him.

It's definitely nostalgic going back in time like this. I forgot all about this voice acting gig, only about 3 years ago that it all hit my a freight train. Lovin' the community, the game, and spending time with Lexonal, what's not to like! Except that friggin' code that we couldn't figure out! ;)

Keep on going Lexonal, these games are rather taxing at times but I'm glad you're both enjoying them just as much as the rest of us continue to this day to do so!!
(Side note - Are you recording audio coming from the speakers? I ask only it sounds like you are so some content audio is hard to hear sometimes)
That's great, thanks for sharing. We are recording on my mic and the audio from the game is also going into the mic from speakers. I am sure we can figure out better audio with some adjustments. We play with levels in post edit. Anyway, thanks again for all your feedback!
@@PabloKuntz - Anything to help buddy, I see that you're recording to OBS so just make sure that the "Desktop audio" capture is active which will capture the audio from the game directly into the video. :)
I normally end up having to set it up for a fair few people and it's never straight forward haha.

You guys should play RE2 after .
Its a big upgrade from RE1 & even better .
Plus you can play as claire Redfield the younger sister of Chris , looking for him after the events of RE1
Then after that in RE3 you play as Jill again . There all in the classic PS1 style
I think we're planning to play Chris next on RE1. Then RE2 and maybe RE3, we'll see!

Hunter are pretty annoying enemies that I fight.
No kidding, freako things.
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned in any of the earlier parts but when pushing things you can just walk into them instead of running i personally find it more useful so i don't end up running right past what i am trying to push just keep in mind this comment was made when i was watching the 45 minute mark of the video so whatever happened after this comment i have no idea

Your welcome sadly i'm not very good at wording things especially with a small amount of words hahaha
head shots are luck with the handgun they have a percentage for if the shot will take off the head, for the magnum they 1 hit basic enemies and will always blow off a zombies head, shotguns will blow off they head if they are close and you're aiming up and you can blow their legs off if you aim down when they are close. Magnum ammo should be saved.,
The magnum is impressive, no doubt about. Will have him save those bullets though!
