Those hunters are absolutely unforgiving! I lost my head on many occasions and lost many controllers in anger! Brilliant as always. Blue herbs to cure the poison in the doorway of the Guardhouse where you have just come from. I can only imagine how surreal it is hearing your voice back after 25 years.
Yeah Phil, it is surreal to hear and to completely forget reading those lines. But the memories of the overall recording are pretty much intact. Hunters do make quick decapitation work, need to keep our heads, quite literally!

My son is actually due today as I write this. So just waiting to become a dad (I’ve just turned 36). Hopefully my wee one will play resident evil with me when he is older. Even though I'm a 90's kid, I grew up watching a lot of 80's and 70's stuff. Who doesn't enjoy spending a Saturday evening watching Predator or Evil Dead? Hey Lexonal doing really good on the Chris playthrough have to give you alot of credit, alot of brutal moments there, I felt that pain with ya on the hunter's after so much progress, a massive well done for the perseverance, i also remember the exact same happening to me many moons ago, very frustrating, keep doing what your doing and you will soon absolutely annihilate the game just like you did with Jill, we are all on this journey together right there with ya and rooting for ya dude🙏🏼 also Bloodsport with Jean-Claude Van Damme is a Legendary movie (YOU BREAK MY RECORD, NOW I BREAK YOU, LIKE I BREAK YOUR FRIEND) 🤣 so many good films around that timeline with amazing 80's soundtracks that are timeless, that particular movie I always think Stan Bush, On my own and Fight to Survive, very nostalgic like these playthrough's and Robocop is one of my favourite film's of all time. (I'D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR)🤣

hah! im a big fan of so many eras! my favourite album is from the 70s (queen ii - queens second album) favourite film is from the 80s (Aliens) favourite game era is EASILY from the 90s (resident evil 1/2/3, final fantasy 7/8/9, metal gear solid!!) and were lucky to be in this era of great technology watching these videos and talking to eachother from all over the world!
That was great! Really tense towards the end with those hunters! Correct, I am from the UK! Currently in Southampton, but in the process of moving to Norwich. Enjoy Spaced if you check it out! Very true about creations inspiring other creations - on the subject of that, one of my favourite games as a kid was Goof Troop on the Super Nintendo. It was the first game I owned that me and my brother could play at the same time, I played as Goofy and my brother played as Goofy's son Max. We had loads of fun with it. Years later I found out one of the designers for that game was Shinji Mikami - who went on to create Resident Evil! Goof Troop had some puzzle solving elements as well, it's nice to see how Shinji developed and expanded that particular element for the Resident Evil games. Believe it or not, I only saw Robocop and Highlander for the first time last year! Both were tremendous! On the subject of 80s movies... there's one I have to mention... The Return of the Living Dead (1985)... what a film! Notebook sounds good to me, by the way! Always good to have something to write your ideas down on before they disappear. I think we've all been there.. you think of something cool and think 'I must write that down' and then you don't, something distracts you and... it's gone!

Hunters can be the absolute worst with those insta kills lex, it hurts when you lose all that progress I know your pain 'do I continue or do we give up today' 😂😂 and Pablo love the movie choices, of course you love highlander it's the one with the swords! I remember watching it with my dad and brother when I was much younger been surprised he was okay with me seeing dudes get there heads chopped off kurgen was terrifying (played by clancey brown) and I can't believe he's actually the voice of mister krabs from sponge Bob and many many other things on the topic of 80s movies have you ever watched 'maximum overdrive' it's great for some B movie vibes it was directed by Stephen King and the soundtrack is from ac/dc I think you and lex would really enjoy it great video as always 👍

@@PabloKuntz . Yeah, Kwaidan is a Japanese Horror/Fantasy movie. Parts of it are really scary but still it's a beautiful movie! It's NOT all about blood and gore except for one scene + some sword fights in some parts of the movie. Around two years ago on 2020 they just released a Blu-ray edition of this movie. So if you're interested, watch the Blu-ray edition with superior picture quality! ✨👀 The full length movie is 183 minute originally. There are more info and some pictures/screenshots on IMDb website, but I don't recommend watching the trailer or the whole-100 of screenshots, because there are spoilers... RUclips doesn't let me to post a link in the comments, but you can simply google: "Kwaidan (1964) imdb"
My awe just skyrocketed when you mentioned Bloodsport, my favourite vg voice actor in my favourite game ever loves my favourite movie of all times. And as usual, it's great to watch you go through this adventure with your son, great chemistry there. It is so good to relive my childhood through your play, and I still can't believe that we finally get to see the man behind Wesker's voice. If this is my favourite game ever, a huge credit goes to your flawless voice acting. Thanks for everything. Great progress guys. The hunters in this game are famously relentless, so don't feel too bad about losing your head to them lol I can't remember if this has been asked before so i apologise in advance if it has, but what would each of you say is your favourite thing/moment about RE1, or favourite thing about playing through the game together? Also, if you ever get the chance to play RE Deadly Silence for the Nintendo DS, please do. It's a new take on RE1 and has a lot of additional puzzles, enemies etc. Last of all, Hong Kong Phooey was amazing haha. The theme song always pops into my head when anyone mentions the show.

It's basically a revamped Resident Evil 1, it's an official release not a mod. I ask this because it's different in a few ways and arrange mode is awesome 👌. I believe its only on PS1 but there's awesome emulators out there like Duckstation and EPSXE, where you can customise the controls to your preferences 😍.

Another great video and playthrough! Regarding some of the 80s topics: I recommend checking out "synthwave" music on RUclips or other platforms. It's a contemporary genre of music in the style of 80s synthesizers. Also, if you ever enjoyed the Karate Kid movies, there is a spin off show called Cobra Kai on Netflix that is critically acclaimed and loved by fans. Highly recommended. Quick question: did you like any of the Brat Pack movies? If so, which was your favorite and why? With regards to the game, Lexonal had some great dodge-work with the spiders in the guardhouse! I also thoroughly enjoyed your reactions to the death by the hunter (the green, frog-like creature that cut Chris's head off). Having to redo everything is quintessential Resident Evil. Lastly, there are unlockable items for completing the game in certain ways. You can earn a rocket launcher with infinite ammo if you complete the game in under 3 hours. You can also earn alternate costumes by saving all of the characters. I look forward to your future playthroughs!
Awesome content as always. Have you guys watched the old Resident Evil movies? There are six of them and started back in 2002. The first one, even tho it has nothing to do with RE1, it's actually a pretty good and solid horror zombie movie. But after that one, the movies went downhill... and the latest ones are pretty bad 😂. But if you haven't checked them, i'll 100% recommend it. They are fun and action packed films.
Guys, if you're planning to play original trilogy, I strongly recommend you to find RE2 (or RE3) Seamless Project. This mod greatly increases quality of graphics, making it smooth and much more detailed. Of course unless you want to keep PS1 pixelated tone of the game :) Anyway, great playthrough! Enjoying it all the way :)
Just randomly thinking about merch, maybe Wesker's shades ? I prefer the original 'aviator' style but they changed a lot with each new Wesker appearances , what do you think ? . hah! im a big fan of so many eras! my favourite album is from the 70s (queen ii - queens second album) favourite film is from the 80s (Aliens) favourite game era is EASILY from the 90s (resident evil 1/2/3, final fantasy 7/8/9, metal gear solid!!) and were lucky to be in this era of great technology watching these videos and talking to eachother from all over the world!

Enjoy Spaced if you check it out! Very true about creations inspiring other creations - on the subject of that, one of my favourite games as a kid was Goof Troop on the Super Nintendo. It was the first game I owned that me and my brother could play at the same time, I played as Goofy and my brother played as Goofy's son Max. We had loads of fun with it.
Years later I found out one of the designers for that game was Shinji Mikami - who went on to create Resident Evil! Goof Troop had some puzzle solving elements as well, it's nice to see how Shinji developed and expanded that particular element for the Resident Evil games.
Believe it or not, I only saw Robocop and Highlander for the first time last year! Both were tremendous! On the subject of 80s movies... there's one I have to mention... The Return of the Living Dead (1985)... what a film!
Notebook sounds good to me, by the way! Always good to have something to write your ideas down on before they disappear. I think we've all been there.. you think of something cool and think 'I must write that down' and then you don't, something distracts you and... it's gone!

Hunters can be the absolute worst with those insta kills lex, it hurts when you lose all that progress I know your pain 'do I continue or do we give up today' 😂😂 and Pablo love the movie choices, of course you love highlander it's the one with the swords! I remember watching it with my dad and brother when I was much younger been surprised he was okay with me seeing dudes get there heads chopped off kurgen was terrifying (played by clancey brown) and I can't believe he's actually the voice of mister krabs from sponge Bob and many many other things on the topic of 80s movies have you ever watched 'maximum overdrive' it's great for some B movie vibes it was directed by Stephen King and the soundtrack is from ac/dc I think you and lex would really enjoy it great video as always 👍

@@PabloKuntz . Yeah, Kwaidan is a Japanese Horror/Fantasy movie. Parts of it are really scary but still it's a beautiful movie! It's NOT all about blood and gore except for one scene + some sword fights in some parts of the movie. Around two years ago on 2020 they just released a Blu-ray edition of this movie. So if you're interested, watch the Blu-ray edition with superior picture quality! ✨👀 The full length movie is 183 minute originally. There are more info and some pictures/screenshots on IMDb website, but I don't recommend watching the trailer or the whole-100 of screenshots, because there are spoilers... RUclips doesn't let me to post a link in the comments, but you can simply google: "Kwaidan (1964) imdb"
My awe just skyrocketed when you mentioned Bloodsport, my favourite vg voice actor in my favourite game ever loves my favourite movie of all times. And as usual, it's great to watch you go through this adventure with your son, great chemistry there. It is so good to relive my childhood through your play, and I still can't believe that we finally get to see the man behind Wesker's voice. If this is my favourite game ever, a huge credit goes to your flawless voice acting. Thanks for everything. Ps: check out the herbs "one more time"...pps: hunters can severe your head only if you're on caution or danger state.

I can't remember if this has been asked before so i apologise in advance if it has, but what would each of you say is your favourite thing/moment about RE1, or favourite thing about playing through the game together?
Also, if you ever get the chance to play RE Deadly Silence for the Nintendo DS, please do. It's a new take on RE1 and has a lot of additional puzzles, enemies etc.
Last of all, Hong Kong Phooey was amazing haha. The theme song always pops into my head when anyone mentions the show.

Hello Pablo, I'm sure you must have seen the movie Black Rain (from '89 with Michael Douglas) at some point, it's one of my favourites. What do you think of it? Big fan of Van Damme as well, my favourite of his is Double Impact, with Bolo Yeung from Bloodsport also in the cast!

It's basically a revamped Resident Evil 1, it's an official release not a mod. I ask this because it's different in a few ways and arrange mode is awesome 👌. I believe its only on PS1 but there's awesome emulators out there like Duckstation and EPSXE, where you can customise the controls to your preferences 😍.

Regarding some of the 80s topics: I recommend checking out "synthwave" music on RUclips or other platforms. It's a contemporary genre of music in the style of 80s synthesizers. Also, if you ever enjoyed the Karate Kid movies, there is a spin off show called Cobra Kai on Netflix that is critically acclaimed and loved by fans. Highly recommended. Quick question: did you like any of the Brat Pack movies? If so, which was your favorite and why?
With regards to the game, Lexonal had some great dodge-work with the spiders in the guardhouse! I also thoroughly enjoyed your reactions to the death by the hunter (the green, frog-like creature that cut Chris's head off). Having to redo everything is quintessential Resident Evil. Lastly, there are unlockable items for completing the game in certain ways. You can earn a rocket launcher with infinite ammo if you complete the game in under 3 hours. You can also earn alternate costumes by saving all of the characters. I look forward to your future playthroughs!

Have you guys watched the old Resident Evil movies? There are six of them and started back in 2002.
The first one, even tho it has nothing to do with RE1, it's actually a pretty good and solid horror zombie movie.
But after that one, the movies went downhill... and the latest ones are pretty bad 😂.
But if you haven't checked them, i'll 100% recommend it.
They are fun and action packed films.

Guys, if you're planning to play original trilogy, I strongly recommend you to find RE2 (or RE3) Seamless Project. This mod greatly increases quality of graphics, making it smooth and much more detailed. Of course unless you want to keep PS1 pixelated tone of the game :)

Reply to my question i asked about Tank Controls, The movement of the game character is the reason of the name Tank Controls. Does Lexonal find it frustrating at times or could he play many more games with the same movement controls? The 59 in my name isnt really a reference to anything, i was at school and made my first email address and it came from there lol. i was born 1988 and my first horror game was resident evil 1. wesker was the one character i wanted around me the whole time i played cause it scared me senseless haha.. Keep up the great work :D
